The store is bright, very clean and staff are great. I ordered the chicken shawarma plate. As I watched them carve the chicken I was salivating as it looked so juicy. After carving it they took it over to the grill to chop it and continue cooking it. I'll be honest and say while it was very tasty, the chicken was dried out and I think it was due to the fact it may have been overcooked on the grill. The rice, potatoes and salad were excellent. They also gave me a complimentary serving of Lentil soup that was great. Next time I go in, will mention not to overcook the chicken.

Best shawarma in Barrie hands down!!! Very polite service. Food was hot and fresh. And store is very clean. All items on their menu are reasonably priced. Will definitely be coming back soon.

I saw the potato salad as I was passing by and decided to give it a try. They really hit it out of the park with their crispy potatoes and the spices were just enough for me, strongly Mediterranean possibly western arabic. Regardless, will definitely be eating here again.

We tried this location for the first time tonight after seeing we did on fact have one of these in Barrie. Let me say, from the moment we stepped inside the experience was great. The restaurant is clean and tidy, but not so clean that you can tell the staff are not busy. Everything is in good repair and the kitchen is well organized, pride is definitely taken and can be seen everywhere you look. The gentleman behind the counter (who turned out to be the owner) was kind, friendly, helpful and attentive. He was happy to answer our questions to help us decide. We both ordered chicken combos in a wrap with the potatoes on the side. The ingredients were very fresh, the cold table was clean, and the food was fantastic. Care was taken assembling our food which is a nice surprise these days. We also tried the lentil soup and it was great, I will be ordering that next time as a side. With a mango juice of course! To sum up, I was nothing short of impressed coming here and we will be frequenting this place often. Thank you again for caring and taking pride in your business, it is certainly not unnoticed. I only wish I took pictures to post along with this review!

Our first experience at Barrie Pita Land was perfect! It's conveniently close to my place, which may not be so awesome after all. The portions were very generous, food was super tasty! We got to try the lentil soup and mango juice, neither of which I thought to order but was very pleased with both! I would definitely order the lentil soup with my next order. The owner is very kind. You can tell he really cares about what he's doing. The place was spotless, and not in a "this place is deserted kind of way", it actually speaks volumes of the owner and how much he cares for this place. I am uncomfortably stuffed, but the food was so good I couldn't stop. We will absolutely return, I definitely recommend trying it if you haven't yet!

Ordered a very impressive, first meal at Pita Land! Fresh ingredients, overflowing portions, flavourful sauces, friendly smiles, and fast service! In particular, I was impressed with the efficiency of the staff under pressure. Despite a developing lineup, they still made sure to acknowledge everyone graciously so that customers didn’t feel rushed but personally, thoroughly served! Also, the place is clean, spacious, and equipped with tables and seats, so you can sit down for a meal with your friends and family! This business is well thought-through. Admirable! Pita Land’s, your high ratings are well-deserved!

Best place to get shawarma in Barrie. Absolutely delicious, great quality fresh food. The staff is always so friendly and generous and give me free items when I make a large order. I come back time and again and I'm always satisfied. One of my favorite places in Barrie!
