Location is great and the units are spacious. The fixtures are dated but the supers do repairs promptly. The building lacks a concierge and packages are often left in the mailroom or package room and can get stolen. Noise can be an issue between the traffic on Bay, frequent fire alarm triggers and testings (the alarm volume is deafening) and number of pets in the building. May not be the fanciest looking building but a pretty comfortable place to stay.

We've been hired by to clean this residences many times and each time the residents have been thoroughly satisfied. The cleaners always give this place rave reviews and cleaner take pleasure in maintaining some of the units in this place. We've heard nothing but positive things from the cleaners who have worked here before, and we're always happy to hear their reviews. They say that it's a joy to work in such a clean and well-maintained environment, and they always feel like their efforts are appreciated. We take pride in our work as well, and we're thrilled to be able to contribute to the beauty of this place.

The location is unbeatable, with easy access to all the best places in town. The amenities are impeccable, making for a comfortable and convenient living experience. What really sets 57 Charles at Bay apart, however, is their exceptional customer service. Whenever we've had a maintenance issue, it has been attended within just a few hours of being requested. In the last maintenance request, Aldo, one of the staff members went above and beyond to make sure we were completely satisfied with the repairs. It's clear that the management team truly cares about their residents.

57 Charles at Bay is a perfect location to live in downtown Toronto. Right from transit to shopping, very good accessibility! Living in this community has been a positive experience. The staff, from the property manager to maintenance, have been fantastic. Laura and Sue are friendly, polite, and professional. I would like to thank them for all their help with my departure.

Maintenance at 57 Charles is the best! Aldo was a life safer! My toilet was broke and need to be fully replaced and he was able to do!

With her program at an end and moving back to B.C., she had to leave this perfect location in downtown Toronto and the amazing staff. I really can’t say enough good things about 57 Charles at Bay. The building is a bit older, but it’s clean, well maintained and as central as can be (a short walk to endless shopping, entertainment and three TTC lines). However, as other reviewers have mentioned, it’s the management and maintenance teams that are the true stars. Sue, Rosie, Clarence and Arnold are second-to-none in their professionalism and courtesy, attention and service to their residents. If I have to rent again in Toronto, I would not hesitate doing so at 57 Charles at Bay!

I’ve lived in this building for almost a year now and it is a fantastic place to live. Incredibly well managed and our maintenance team is so responsive and helpful if there is ever an issue. I can’t recommend this building enough!

No sooner had I put in my maintenance request that Aldo knocked on my door to respond to all 3 requests! Cheerful person, carefully completed work, including cleanup, I am more than happy with his work. Office staff here are very helpful and unfailingly polite and cheerful.

I lived in this building for almost one year, I can confidently say it is one of the best living experiences I've ever had. The building has the best location in Toronto. It is in CBD area, 2-3 minutes in walking distance for banks, superstores, and Cinemax. Moreover, my appartment is close to the beautiful campus of University of Toronto and Queen's Park. The ease of transportation is another significant plus. The closeness to Subway line 1 and line 2 makes daily commuting a breeze. However, what truly elevates this building from others is the excellent management team. Sue and Rosemarie provide impeccable service combined with a diligent maintenance team to ensure that residents have a comfortable stay. This place is the best place I've ever stayed. If I weren't relocated to another city, I would stay there as my life-long residence. I'd strongly recommend this place to anyone looking for a mix of convenience, comfort and quiet.
