Excellent place for a long stroll, run or a gravel bike ride, where you can ride from Holland Landing to Newmarket to Aurora. Nice and flat with a few interesting side trails (that are not maintained). Watch out for cyclists though. The parking lot at Holland Landing is small and fills up quickly on weekends. Try the parking lot at Greenlane east of 2nd Concession instead. If that's full there's also the East Gwillimbury GO Station just across Greenlane with plenty of parking and it's right next to trail.

Amazing cycling trail for all family members, beautiful nature around. This trail is almost flat, what is really great for kids and beginners)))

An excellent day with family and kids. Perfect trail for walk and bikes 🚲. Kids have a wonderful time with exploring nature and enjoy sunny 🌞 day ( few of those in our lovely Canada πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦). The wonderful sound of water πŸ’¦ falls ( well do not expect something like Niagara Falls sizeπŸ˜€).

Lovely trail with a good mix of path and boardwalk. Take care as there are lots of people on bicycles on this trail. The mix of urban and nature scenery makes this trail more interesting. Trail is great for walking and cycling. Will be sure to bring our bikes next time.

I really like this place. Its spacious, some areas shaded, close to train tracks, a river, and great for dogs! We crossed the bridge and took the trail under the trees. There were many swimming spots for our dogs. They lovedddd it!!

This trail is awesome. Long enough for approximately 30 minutes walk to reach 2nd Concession road and it continues beyond it. There is a beautiful river just along the trail. There is a big parking lot in Yonge St. and Mt. Albert Rd just in the corner. Wildlife is must to see. Beaver 🦫 and ducks πŸ¦† and birds can be spotted easily.

Beautiful trail for hiking and biking, beautifull views and lots of birds. We met a turtle, fish jumping of the river, beaver, chipmunks, frogs, and baby squirrels in the same afternoon.

I'm not a trail/hiking person... So the trail was actually quite annoying for me. I went there for the gorgeous bridge and we started from Mount Albert & Yonge and walked our way to 2nd Concession and Green Lane. Learned my lesson for next time, don't start at Mount Albert & Yonge if you don't feel like walking. To be honest, it was very worth the walk. Great place for pictures!

Very nice area with free parking. Lots of pretty and colourful flowery fields that separate large forestry areas. Great view of fall foliage. Nice river flowing through the area. Lots of trails to walk along and explore. Good for bikes too.

I grew up in Holland Landing...and this place is like a safe haven for me. This trail has everything you want...water, green life growing everywhere and plenty of terrain to travel and animals along the way. This trail and the areas surrounding it look extra amazing In the fall and winter time. In the end if u want a nice quiet nice walk then this is the place to go.

Took the side trail from Mount Albert side rd as it hugs the river with better views. Very clean place. The trail connects to many other parks going across at least 3 towns. I went up to the bridge at Second concession road.

Nice trail! We started in Aurora and rode our bikes to New Market. The trail is both packed gravel and paved so it's easy to ride with a road bike or mountain bike. There is a gradual and slow incline when going back to Aurora from New Market but still a fairly easy ride. Approximately 40km round trip. Lovely scenery if you prefer walking as well, lots of places to stop and sit! Only downside is it can get busy in certain spots but that's to be expected. The signage could be improved as well as it was a bit difficult to navigate.

Absolutely love this trail! There's so much more than the main path, there's Single track trails on both sides of the river and trails that go through the forest also. There's a lot to see and explore!! The first week we rode there (Mountain Biking), we found a different trail each day! The scenery is beautiful, especially in the Fall.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Great forest north of Markham. There is plenty of parking and trails are not busy helping to maintain social distance. Enjoyed the lovely weather with a bit of snow. The trails are hilly and ice can cause some discomfort. Please use boot chains to make your hike safer when it is icy. I found some o...

πŸ‘πŸ‘ We visited for the first time ever on a hot sunny day in early June, midweek. It was very quiet and we felt free and welcomed. This was the first time visiting a Naturist park for my 3 kids (1, 3 and 6 years old) and they really REALLY loved it. We tried the Bare Bistro fries and hot dogs which, ag...
