Beware
of
expired
goods/goods
past
their
best
before
dates!
Purchased
an
item
that
was
a
month
past
its
best
before
date.
Went
to
the
store
(albeit
3
weeks
later)
and
pointed
out
to
the
cashier
the
goods
were
expired.
Checks
with
manager
and
says
it
has
been
"too
long"
since
purchase.
I
pointed
out
the
product
was
already
expired
by
a
month
at
the
time
of
my
purchase,
so
it
shouldn't
have
been
on
the
shelf
and
is
irrelevant
when
I
bring
it
back.
Eventually
got
a
replacement
product,
but
not
before
I
got
a
lot
of
sass
from
the
cashier
and
the
manager.
Tried
pointing
out
to
the
cashier
there
were
still
expired
products
on
the
shelf
and
got
a
"I'm
just
the
cashier"
along
with
"nobody
really
does
this".
The
purpose
of
my
visit
was
to
make
the
store
aware
of
the
product
expiry
and
hopefully
rectify
the
matter
so
it
didn't
happen
to
anyone
else.
For
the
record,
I
found
a
similar
product
that
was
also
expired
on
the
shelf
at
the
time
of
my
visit
that
was
still
on
the
shelf...
Taking
an
expired
product
back
into
the
store
shouldn't
be
so
dramatic
and
so
much
effort.
I'm
all
for
supporting
local,
but
let's
be
courteous
to
the
customers
when
issues
come
up.
