Beware of expired goods/goods past their best before dates! Purchased an item that was a month past its best before date. Went to the store (albeit 3 weeks later) and pointed out to the cashier the goods were expired. Checks with manager and says it has been "too long" since purchase. I pointed out the product was already expired by a month at the time of my purchase, so it shouldn't have been on the shelf and is irrelevant when I bring it back. Eventually got a replacement product, but not before I got a lot of sass from the cashier and the manager. Tried pointing out to the cashier there were still expired products on the shelf and got a "I'm just the cashier" along with "nobody really does this". The purpose of my visit was to make the store aware of the product expiry and hopefully rectify the matter so it didn't happen to anyone else. For the record, I found a similar product that was also expired on the shelf at the time of my visit that was still on the shelf... Taking an expired product back into the store shouldn't be so dramatic and so much effort. I'm all for supporting local, but let's be courteous to the customers when issues come up.

First time visited this small community food market, very tidy and clean. They are not very big, but they have everything you need. Fruits, Veggie ,meat, bakery .....all look very fresh ! A rather busy Saturday afternoon. Staff is friendly ! Little disappointed is about the parking space, a small parking lot at the back, many customers have to park their cars on both sides of the road. Happy to find a place to buy good quality food. Next time have to try their cakes, looks so yummy !

Small grocery store. Pricy but give good quality of foods and merchandises. Fresh meats and pastry. Clean and bright environment, polite and helpful staffs.

A Beautiful young woman with blue nails take my sandwich with bare hands. NO GLOVES！！！I asked her : is this how you take sandwich without gloves? She answered: yes! I am pretty sure this is against Ontario Food Premises Regulation. And I will report that.

Today was the day I decided never to shop there again. The little teenagers running this store are in serious need of proper customer service and manners not to mention the quality of the produce has gone way down.

Edit: since this review they fired her, so we are going back...but they still have the young girls who gossip all day and don't know how to serve a customer, don't look at you and barely greet you. First review: Person at the register overcharged me so I politely asked for a refund of the difference. Said she was new and couldn't do it. Waited 30 minutes for the manager, who gave me my refund but did nothing to offer compensation for wait time or mistake. Been going here over 10 years, horrified today with the level of customer service. Lots of giggles from the cashiers, not professional at all.

Great place to buy flowers 🌺 for our backyard so many beautiful selection they had outside and the 2 cashiers are really friendly thanks.

Best Produce Ever. I went in and I saw everything being organized and very clean. It almost felt illegal taking apples because I was ruining the display.

I periodically shop here for bread and deli meats. Was buying sandwich supplies for a group hike trip and asked for 500g of rosemary ham thinly sliced. They did as much, but the 2-3 young employees working there proceeded to chat amongst themselves about how gross it is when people order 500-700g of meat while glancing at me from time to time. Very unprofessional. Maybe gossip when the customers you’re talking about aren’t within earshot.

Bad experience with fresh fish at the Richmond Hill store, worms in fish. No management at the store, only kids running this place.

Its great for fresh produce but check the dates on items that sit around. I have brought home expired perishables for which I docked 2 stars. Flowers and garden items are long lasting and healthy.

Bestnplace for fresh food. Excellent meat options. Very good supply if traditional essential Italian cuisine.

We really like this place. Produce is always top-notch. Clean and well organized. Great for a quick in and out. The only thing holding me back from loving this place is oftentimes the staff make you feel like you’re interrupting them especially in the bakery. Lots of non-work conversations that are reluctantly paused so they can give you something. Otherwise this is one of my favourite places in Oak Ridges.

My favourite store for anything. Best pizza in ever had sold frozen here for 15 bucks

In Richmond Hill It seems that tellers get paid more if they are slow. The quality of the products in the store is excellent, but when it's time to pay, it's time to sleep.

Terrible customer service! Cashier (Jacqueline) was nitpicking on everything. Is 1 extra lid worth the customer service score?!?! I put 2 and she removed 1. Is she really going to put in the soup lid rack for other people to use?!? That’s very unhygienic I would say.

On the higher end in regards to price but guaranteed to get great quality produce and grocery. The service from everyone is always top notch.

Greco's is the best in the region. Yes, even better than the big chain grocers. There are certain food items that are consistently better than other high end grocery stores & they also get some items I don't find elsewhere. I won't say the items because I want them for myself. Haha! Pricey food, but quality is excellent. I don't do all of my grocery shopping here, but make sure to go at least once a week.

Free parking. If it's full there is street parking. They need to be more diligent when it comes to removing expired items off their shelves. If a customer comes in with an expired item which they just purchased maybe more courteous. It's not the customer's fault.

Bought Sushi today from here. The lady behind the counter said that the sushi is fresh. The rice was hard and uncooked. The Sushi it self never has enough ginger in there. The wasabi is hidden in the package and also make sure to grab your souce as well since 1 wont do the job that comes in the package. Honesty goes a long way and when Im told fresh and its not then a 1 star review is even too much. I hope you guys better your selfs by removing sushi or make them better than sobeys or other places that offer them as a quick grab. It breaks my heart to write this type of reviews but we the people deserve transparency and accountability. I will revisit one more time in 2022 to see if any changes took place or not and will update this review. Hope to give you guys at least a 3 star or more next visit.

Excellent service, clean, fresh produce and a wider selection. As soon as I walked in the scent made me hungry. Pastries were above the rest.

Greco's catered our Christmas get together, for a Non Profit Seniors Housing complex. Couldn't have gone better the food was amazing, great portions, wonderful service from start to payment. The kitchen was thoughtful and helped to ensure I had everything we could possibly need, as this was my first event. The cost was beyond fair. Would recommend.
