The
Flato
Markham
Theatre
is
an
awesome
community
theatre
with
a
solid
variety
of
good
shows.
I
saw
the
season
opening
show
this
week:
Tom
Cochrane.
He
was
absolutely
amazing,
and
as
a
local
boy,
who
made
good
globally,
it
was
great
to
hear
his
local
stories
in
between
his
songs.
The
1st
part
of
his
show
was
a
great
review
of
his
famous
folksy
hits,
including
some
lesser
known
songs
that
didn't
rate
on
the
charts
(and
should!).
And
if
course
he
ended
the
show
with
his
classic
:
Life
is
a
Highway.
The
theatre
itself
is
awesome,
conveniently
at
Markham
Rd
and
highway
7
(in
the
city
hall
complex),
accessible
by
car
(big
parking
lot)
or
by
YRT.
It
was
nice
to
have
the
snackbar
open,
1st
time
since
the
pandemic,
though
it
would
be
faster
service
if
they
had
two
lines
open.
