Beautifully presented and amazing displays. They provide you with an audio guide on entry so you can put in the exhibit ID number and hear more about each display. Doing this throughout the whole display at every single opportunity did get quite lengthy and our older kids had lost patience by the end but we all learnt a lot about this brilliant part of Australian history and the exciting prehistoric finds in the area.

I only gave this 5 stars because I couldn’t give it 6 or 7 !! Sunday 9 June. We visited the BEST dinosaur disply yet. No bull. Kronosaurus Kormer in Richmond. I have to admit the advertising i saw for it before today made it look like a cheese cheap and nasty corner shop. Anything but ! If you only have time to visit one display before you die make it this one. This part of Australia was a shallow (<60m) inland sea 110 million years ago and the display is dedicated to the marine life from that time. You get to see the REAL fossils as dug up not some replica and the museum has many life size models to help you fully understand what the bones belonged to. There are audio devices you tap the display number you are in fromt of into and the narator explains what you’re seeing. I’ll photograph the blurb from the tourist magazine which explains things better. A real blast and the bar has now been set pretty hogh for the last of the dinosaur triangle towns of Hughenden.

Wow! Fantastic museum with mind blowing displays. Spent hours here having fun. So well presented. Went on a fossil hunting expedition with Kevin. He was great, knowledgeable, approachable and great with kids. Do both, visit kronosaurus korner and go for a fossil hunt. Best money you’ll spend on your holiday 😀

Museum just impressed me! You can watch short video, where more explained about dinosaurs 🦕. So good, so real(I even afraid go out after!). Provide portable audio equipment. Toilet, Cafe, souvenir shop, plenty of parking. And very knowledgeable staff, very friendly and helpful.

$35/adult. You can pay at the desk, they give you a quick tutorial and you can wander around. You can either follow on your phone or use one of the handsets to listen to the display information. You put in the corresponding number to hear each information package. Some of them are quite lengthy but overall it's good to hear the history. There is a short movie and 3 rooms to go through to see the displays. There is a store and cafe available. You can go on digs as well but we opted not to go.

Staff were welcoming and helpful. There is a self-paced audio guide that was informative and interesting and really brought to life the discovery process with personal stories and accounts of each fossil. We were all pleasantly surprised at the excellent quality and sheer size of the exhibits. Definitely worth the drive.

We stopped here to break up our long drive from Darwin to Townsville and were recommended this place by some other travelers in Cloncurry. It turned out to be worth the price of admission for us. They have audio devices that you type in the number of the exhibit you are looking at and you hear an audio description of it. Found it all quite interesting. We did everything and it took us just about an hour. Excellent free WiFi here as well.

This place is amazing,,spectacular fossils on display. We also did the guided dig just minutes down the road. Our guide Kevin is an absolute gem of a bloke and an outstanding ambassador for the museum. Anyone can find amazing 100million year old fossils, all you need is a bit of luck. Highly recommended, one of the best locations of the dinosaur trail imho
