My friend press a button and the water facility began running, we don’t know how to stop it, so end up play in it for a while and have lots of fun, it’s the highlight of that day after a long driving. Also the lake is quite beautiful and nice to walk around.

Lovely place to visit or stay. Grounds are kept well maintained. Picnic tables and BBQ spaces available.

Great stop for a picnic with kids. The water park has a button to make it go - take your swimmers! Clean toilets, some play equipment and a track right around the lake. Stop by the Spar in town, grab some picnic stuff and head to the lake. Beautiful water view, lovely shaded tables and green grass - which was a pleasant change from the typical outback scenery.

What great spot to have a break, the lake, picnic area, BBQ, water park, toilet and shower facilities and right in town. Plenty to see and do in Richmond and surrounding areas, well woth taking a real and have a look around, dinosaurs were here and the exhibition is worth a look, or do the trail.

This place is THE best - imagine a fresh water swimming lake with amenities and BBQ in the middle of the Queensland outback - pull up on a hot day and zen in this peaceful place - it says water skiing but not when I have visited so it might be different with boats etc - nevertheless it was a Sunday and there were two small children playing and otherwise I had the place to myself - shops and pub nearby - gets five stars from me
