First time visitor & non local: This spot was suggested by a friend and we checked it out after work. Love the ambiance off the rip! This is a true farm to table establishment! They are clean(including the bathroom)! The food is suitable for all types carnis and veggies alike! I opted for the California wrap 🥑 ($11.75) and added the Black garlic chili oil($0.75) for a little spice 🔥 and then their fresh made in-house Pomegranate Gingerade($3.25) 🥤! The food was delicious 🤤 and SUPER fresh and I LOVE 💜 the sustainable friendly utensils and concept because they are a Green Power business! Even the straw was fully biodegradable 😁 ! They also have fresh veggies from the farm to purchase in store as well! I would recommend this place to locals and non locals alike! When you come here you will not be disappointed!

One of my favorite places ever. Tons of healthy delicious options with some locally grown produce. I love that they have some delicious soul food as well like their mac and cheese bowl! The outdoor seating area is perfect. Mostly covered so, perfect for almost any weather.

First time here, super pleased there was no fight to find a park! Got a spot right in front - this is rare for Carytown restaurants. It was a beautiful sunny warm but not hot day so we sat outside and enjoyed our food, the only downside was one annoying fly that kept hovering... annoying! The food was good, I got the Vietnamese bowl, $10, it had Marinated garlic-ginger mushrooms, diced cucumber, fresh herbs, toasted sesame seeds and a blend of quick-pickled carrots, onion, red cabbage, and diakon radish. Topped with our vegan basil aioli, peanut sauce, and fresh avocado. The taste of the avocado mixed in topped it off! A burst of flavors! I also tried a drink, Mint Lime tea. It was good, Im not sure where the mint in it was but it was good anyway. My picky teenager asked for macaroni and cheese, shes not too adventurous. It looked like the cheese wasnt melted, and had just been poured on. She liked the taste though, so all was well. Overall, a great experience. I will go back for sure

So delicious!! I had a bowl with and iced coffee and it took all of my willpower not to order a second of each! Really fresh, high quality ingredients, and I loved the outdoor seating area. Check out the menu online- you order through their app or on a tablet in the store.

I’m obsessed with the miso marinated mushrooms in the Vietnamese bowl especially but all of the bowls are delicious! Vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options. Fresh made juices and an assortment of local vegetables to buy to go from their farm! Service is fast, efficient and friendly. Nice front patio to dine-in with tabletop fireplace heaters. My favorite lunch in town!

Stopped in for lunch today. Ordered at the kiosk and was shocked at how quickly my order was ready. Had the Japanese bowl and mint-lime tea. Both were absolutely delicious! Loved the care in minimizing packaging and using recyclable products. Will be back!

I’ve been here 3 time now! Such good food! The mushrooms and tofu are out of this world! Also free food to give my money to such a sustainable and local place!

Goatocado breakfast burritos are my go-to food when I'm feeling bleh in the morning. They are amazing. Everything I've had here is great, but I think about the breakfast burritos almost every morning. They are big enough that you'll feel full on half, and then you've got the other half to look forward to for lunch. 10/10, cannot recommend highly enough. The folks are cool, the ethics are good, and I'm looking forward to signing up for the Spring Farm Share.

Stopped here on my way leaving Richmond. Absolutely 💯 worth the stop. My dish was slap worthy 😋. I got the Vegan Mexican Ramen bowl 🍜. Wow! Wow! Wow! If you're not Vegan, you can add their grilled chicken. Hands down best Ramen I've ever tasted. And their homemade drinks are refreshingly delicious. I got half lavender half ginger. Had to get a drink for the road. Their refills are only $ 1.50. How awesome is that. Also the young ladies that served me were amazing, friendly, kind, and efficient. Thanks for the service. When return to visit, I will definitely be coming by. Abundant blessings 🌻🌻🌻

So. Delicious. I’ve been a fan of Goatoado ever since I was a VCU undergrad student and they had the carts on campus. I still return to this day for their delicious bowls. Their ingredients are so fresh and so tasty. Highly recommend the California bowl (you can also get this in a wrap.) Friendly workers as well and there is a nice patio area with heated fire in cold weather. Worth checking out!

My food was so delicious! I ordered the burrito with no eggs no cheese no meat and it was still filling and really good. I enjoyed the aïoli as well. I wish I had more potatoes lol.

First time eating here. Good variety of bowls and wraps. Fast service (no waiters). Place order using screen input. Took about 5 minutes and it was busy dinner hour! I had a bowl with avacado, black beans, kale, corn etc. limited outdoor seating.

Food was so delicious and fast, with an adorable outdoor patio--I will definitely return! The food is fast, but fresh and filling. You can choose between salads, wraps, or quinoa bowls, featuring four main flavor options: Mediterranean, Californian, Thai, or Japanese. The Japanese quinoa bowl was so good and unlike most places that serve bowls like this, the sauce wasn't too heavy. Grab some fresh produce from here while you wait for your food, too.

Goatacado is another hidden gem! Fair pricing for extremely fresh, healthy and original food WITH SUBSTANTIAL PORTIONS, which is a key factor for me. Huge on healthfulness, huge on value, and one can opt for real silverware to ease the burden on mother Earth. :)

Grabbed a couple quinoa bowls to go and we were very happy with them. I ordered the Vietnamese bowl with chicken and she ordered the Californian. The greens and toppings tasted very fresh and it was generally very flavorful. Only giving a 4 instead of a 5 because the chicken was pretty dry, but it was still a very tasty, hearty, healthy meal at a reasonable price.

We were in Richmond for Sunday and for breakfast we were looking for a place to have Healthy Breakfast in Richmond Downtown. Seeing the amazing reviews and seeing that they have healthy bowls we decided to have brunch from Goatocado. Goatocado was around 15 minutes from our hotel and it has a parallel road parking. We entered the restaurant and saw it was beautifully decorated with seating available inside as well as outside. Along with breakfast bowls they also provide fresh organic food to buy. From the menu we decided to order Mexican Ramen Noodles and Thai Ramen Noodles. The service was good and we got our order in 5-7 minutes. We first had the Mexican Ramen Noodles with Organic Chicken and Fresh Egg. The bowl was delicious with fresh ingredients and amazing taste. Then we had the Thai Ramen Noodles with Organic chicken and fresh ingredients. Amazing bowl with delicious ingredients. The bowl we ordered was sufficient for one person as the bowls were delicious.

The food was very fresh and pretty, and the portion was massive! I got the Mediterranean bowl with chicken and it was proportioned very well. Every bite had a little bit of everything and I didn't have to "ration" certain things to last the whole meal. The chicken was beautifully seared and flavorful, and the vegetables were so good. The price made me balk but it could easily be turned into two (maybe even three) smaller salads if you don't eat it all like I did. They also offered fresh produce for sale inside, and had fig trees and cherry tomatoes growing out from of the shop. It was a neat place!

Quick service! The tofu was fantastic; they use the same marinade as they do for the chicken, and it’s so well done. Also, the ratio of lettuce to fillings in the wraps are perfect; not too much of one over the other. The kombucha was also great!
