๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ Great California Mexican food. They have carne asada fries && California burrito. The realest Mexican food in Richmond Iโ€™ve found. Highly recommend as itโ€™s not a chain, & their hot sauce is on point!!

My first time here. Definitely worth checking out. Taco salad was good. And it was huge!! Prices seem to be typical to what's around VCU

In from out of town and stopped in! Food and service was great and the patio is great! Fresh ingredients and great flavor!

Great food, I love the Fried Avocado taco, in simple terms, real good taqueria by VCU

The restaurant was clean but the food had no flavor. My wife ordered chicken tacos and what she got was basically fried taquitos. That is not what tacos look like. I ordered burritos and enchiladas and it only came with black beans. For the price we expected a better quality of food.

Awesome little hole in the wall spot in the heart of VCU. Food is very good, cooked with love and served in warm corn tortillas, the way it should be. Parking can be a bit of a challenge given the proximity to the campus but it's definitely worth a walk if you have to park a few blocks away. There isn't a bad thing on the menu but the tacos are the real star here. Just like an authentic pizzeria should be judged based on it's margherita pie, a taqueria should be judged on its tacos al pastor, and these do not disappoint. In fact, they're my number one pick here - if you don't like pineapple, carne asada and barbacoa are also very tasty alternatives.

Good fast service but the food was super mediocre. Guac was super lime flavored. All the hot sauces were off tasting. Carnitas burrito meat was pretty on point but that's the only thing I was impressed by flavor wise.

Love this place!!! Comfortable environment. Amazing flavor and fresh menu options with prices that will beat anywhere in the area. Owners are so friendly and provide great customer service answering any questions about the menu. Just can't get enough of this place.

Been here several times and the food is always good. So happy I finally found real Mexican like I'm used to from San Diego. You know it's legit because they have a REAL California burrito!!
