This is really good new playground for us since we live in south surrey seldom to come Newton area for fun. Our first time to come this playgroup. All facilities are quiet new and maintained well. Space is big enough, my kids were so happy to explore this new playground. The musical instruments and seesaw are very unique, the kids who were 5 -12 years can find the right one suitable for themselves. Around playground there are a couple picnic table, basketball and baseball playground. Water park and outdoor swimming pool. We will recommend our friends who would like to explore new playground to come to try. We will come again during summer time.

Excellent toddler play area and splash park along with a public swimming pool. There are multiple play grounds as well. Only thing missing is a proper trail that goes around the park for folks who prefer to walk.

Nice park for kids to play with in there playground, have outdoor swimming pool and water park in summer time. They also have space for baseball diamondsbatting, cagecricket, fieldssoccer, fieldslacrosse, boxesa, basketball court, 3 picnic shelters. We experience to have a birthday party here specially in summer season or just to put the blanket in the grass and enjoy the warm weather.

This was our first visit after some people recommended we check it out and we were very impressed. My three year old daughter ran around and had a ton of fun. It is aimed at 1-5 year olds with little advanced areas for older kids. It is equipped for kids of all levels, and is wheel chair accessible. We spent two hours there and my daughter wants to go back.

Unwin Park at Surrey has a tot lot play area, some music instruments and a huge climbing tower for older kids to play with. Even though the playground can be pretty hot during Summer time, but there are lots tree shades around. The other side of the playground also has a water spray park and a public pool. My kids had so much fun that they didn't want to leave! This park even have public washrooms, don't need to worry about it!

This is a park that has maintained its original appearance. It is very suitable for hiking. There are very suitable places for children to play. The park is very large, and there are still many undeveloped areas. There are wonderful river views along the Fraser River. There is a long trial along the river, you can walk all the way to the depths of the forest.

This is a nice large space park with great walking trails with children or pets. They have a nice play area with sand and wood climbing and stepping structures. There is a covered area with picnic tables. There are some out houses. I enjoyed my families walk here.

Unvin Park is looking great and very safe and a variety of areas to do whatever you like. Also the parking lot and walkways are very smooth and lead to almost everywhere. The only thing I noticed is that there are surprisingly few picnic tables or benches for people to sit .

Great park and playground! There is even a splash pad for the summer months. This park is an all abilities park and has equipment for all ages, even under 3's. Very stroller accessible and lots of swings for different ages and abilities. There are even covered picnic tables. There are fields close by and a short distance walking trail. One of the best parks!

This is my most favorite park in Surrey, even though it is a little far from my home I like going to Unwin Park whenever I can. Not only does Unwin Park have a very big playground but it also has a basketball court and an outdoor swimming pool and a veryyyyyyyy huge soccer (grass) field.

Great part for kids' only grip would be no benches close to play structures. Which was planned probably to force interactions between parents and children, which is great but doesn't think of the elderly or young mothers who need to be seated to feed babies.

Great park for all ages. Most accessible park I've ever seen for those with physical and mental disabilities. My only complaint is I wish there were benches closer to the park so I can keep a closer eye on my stuff and I'm not worried someone will trip on it. I also don't want to put my stuff on a picnic table and make others feel like that entire table is taken so they can't use it. Just some benches at the playground would be great

Really nice park! Wheelchair accessible. Lots to do and different stuff. Only concern is the pathway decking. When it's wet it is super slippery. My boy slipped a few times. Should have grip paint on the surface. Nice and big park otherwise.

The most inclusive playground I experienced! People of all abilities can play here. If you have a child or are a parent with a disability you can go everywhere-even on the merry go round in a wheelchair or other mobility device. Thanks to Canadian Tire for funding this amazing place and the city of Surrey. A place where no one is left out.

The playground areas are great. Small and big kids can play. Green spacious field to play sport, court side and side walks to enjoy a nice walk, the only down side is the washroom, very poor hygene maintanace.

Well kept natural park with some play features for kids. Best part is the large (covered) picnic areas, forest path, signage and all the amazing restoration work the city is doing to these wetland ecosystems. Thanks City of Surrey for investing in this!

Superb park, me thinks one of the very best parks in lower mainland BC. The reason is that there is exceptional variety to see, and it is always compellingly beautiful all 4 seasons. Free parking and clean washroom facilities here too. Everyone i met at the park was very friendly too.

My wife and I really enjoyed discovering this park (new to us). It has a great walking trail with lots to see. Unfortunately, planes were buzzing overhead for the majority of the time we were there, and it made the experience less relaxing and peaceful than it could have been.

I have 2 clients that I regularly take to this park and both have mobility issues. It is fantastic for our special friends. The spongy surface is great for teaching walking and the spinner and swing with the bars are great. There are lots of sensory activities to stimulate the auditory and visual senses and the ramp on the playground is awesome too. No lack of things for regular kids to do too.

Parking lot is small however the park is impressive. Kids playground is spacious and water splash pad area is very nice. I unfortunately went on Sunday and it was great for the 1st two hours but then thousands of people started to flock the park. It wasn't pleasant, the washrooms were lined up 20 minutes wait time and stalls qere disgusting. I will not go again not my scene

  • 4/5 Patrick M. 1 year ago on Google
I'll start with the negative first, because there is really only one, and then I will go onto the positives. The park is dirty. It sucks. People are truly terrible, disgusting creatures. This is a kids park, clean up after yourselves. So much Starbucks garbage everywhere, even though there are garbage cans. Come on people... A half negative could be that its a busy park, but other than leaving garbage everywhere people are pretty considerate, kids all end up playing with each other and sharing the various things to do. It's a welcoming place. It's got this spongy ground which is so much better than sand, or even worse wood chips. And there are different areas of the playground, so even when my son could only crawl there was still places he could crawl and explore and have so much fun. In the summers there is a water park area so bring swimsuits and expect the kids to run through water and get wet. Overall a great playground for all ages and I would recommend bringing your kids here, just remember to please keep the park clean!

  • 5/5 Kody K. 1 year ago on Google
What a great variety for kids, first off the playground is huge. The splash park is pretty good and then free swimming on top of that? Hot summer day? Great place to take the little ones and play and cool down.
