My
partner
and
I
had
scheduled
cupping
and
massage
sessions
at
Yaletown
Wellness.
I
had
a
great
experience
with
Jean
who
was
very
knowledgeable
in
massage
and
cupping.
My
partner
Kris
had
a
negative
experience.
We
were
both
scheduled
for
3:30
but
his
session
didn’t
start
until
almost
4.
Normally
this
wouldn’t
matter
to
us
as
much
but
we
are
travelling
and
on
a
schedule
and
would
prefer
to
be
on
time
since
we
arrived
early
so
that
we
could
be
on
schedule.
They
switched
his
massage
therapist
last
minute
with
mine
and
the
person
they
arranged
for
him
was
very
shocked
to
see
that
he
had
to
massage
a
male
I
guess
and
behaved
very
off
putting
and
made
Kris
feel
extremely
uncomfortable.
Also
made
it
a
point
to
tell
him
he
wasn’t
going
to
massage
his
buttocks
when
Kris
didn’t
ask
for
that
at
all.
If
anything
this
was
his
first
experience
to
receive
massage
therapy
from
a
male
and
he
made
him
feel
very
uncomfortable
and
unwelcome.
They
also
didn’t
have
enough
rooms
to
accommodate
so
set
up
a
massage
bed
last
minute
and
the
bed
was
faulty
and
kept
falling
forward
bending
during
the
massage
which
needless
to
say
was
jarring
and
made
it
hard
to
relax.
I’m
not
sure
who
his
massage
therapist
was
but
shame
on
him
for
being
so
homophobic
and
judgmental.
Terrible.
