Having lived in Orange County, Los Angeles, and Dallas, I’m pretty particular on who I trust to do my hair. I recently moved to NYC Metro and was searching for "the one." I absolutely recommend Lisa Thomas Salon especially if you’re looking to get a Brazilian Blowout, Full Color/Balayage, and Cut. MONIKA is AMAZING! She is an extremely skilled master stylist and you will LOVE your hair. She is an artist, truly listens to your vision, and takes her time fixing every detail of your hair until it’s perfect! You will not regret booking your services with Monika, it’s worth every penny and I will definitely be coming back regularly to see her!

I made an appointment with Victoria for root coloring. I was instead given to a male named Russell. When all was said and done the blonde root touch up I came in for ($27) cost me $90 and my roots were dark and ashy. I literally stopped and bought a box of hairdye because I left with darker, worse roots than I came in for. This person did not listen at all. I will never return to this salon. I would have gladly voiced ny concerns if I was permitted to leave with dry hair. Instead I left soaked on a cold day and only saw the horrible damage when my hair started to dry. I would not even want to allow this person to touch my hair again as he'd probably make it worse. In fact, I wouldn't let him work on my dog.

It was fantastic, I got partial highlights for the first time and Monika was so nice and did a great job. She gave great recommendations and I was very satisfied with the service, will definitely be coming back. My mom got a haircut from Donna and she loved it, she was very friendly and the service was great.My mom booked appointment for me but since it was almost 2 hours for my hair service. My mom asked Lisa if you could fit her for haircut. Lisa was super helpful and not only she accommodated my mom but priced matched with Groupon. Highly recommended this salon.

I'm a first time client at the salon and I've had nothing but a positive experience!!! First of all I had such a bad experience at a previous salon (picture below was an AFTER of their services) and I called this salon in a panic to help me. They were so sweet on the phone and got me a consult with Monika ASAP. Monika is so professional and heard every concern I had about my hair. She's not only an amazing stylist but she's got an awesome personality. I'm so so glad I connected with her & will 100% come back for her services. Lisa Thomas Salon is a place where you do not want to go for any reason. The people, especially the owner are so unpleasant and nasty. From the moment you walk in you feel the unwelcoming atmosphere. You eon’t only look awful when you leave, ypu will feel awful!

I've come a few times for coloring, cut and blowouts with a few stylist. Always been pretty happy with service but was trying to find a stylist that I would want to back to time and time again and I think I finally found her. I've had blowouts and now a wash/ cut/Blowout with Ashley and she's been consistently amazing. Looking forward to my next service with her!

I’m the type of person that puts off having my hair done until it’s absolutely necessary. I have a party to go to this weekend and my hair was looking real sad I purchased a Groupon for a wash and a cut and I went in yesterday for one. I was able to book an appointment for the next day which was great that they had availability. Tatiana gave me a beautiful haircut and was super efficient with time she was able to multitask me with another client and gave us both the attention we needed. Will definitely be a returning customer ❤️🥰🎉

Went to see Tatianna. She is really a caring stylist and listens to what YOU want! I appreciated her going above and beyond for me and ensured I was happy with all before I left the salon. Safe to say, I’m a “tough customer,” but she truly did a great job. Someone commented on my hair looking so nice that afternoon, while I was shopping! I’ll be back!

Beautiful and very well run salon! I have seen Russell 4 times for highlights, cuts, blow outs. He is wonderful. Always does exactly what I ask him to do, and makes helpful professional suggestions. He’s very friendly and personable as well.

Had a great experience at this salon today. I came in with a Groupon and it was my first time here. Taylor, my stylist, was very helpful and willing to work with me on my haircut and highlights. I'm very happy with the end result and highly recommend!

Came for a refreshing Brazilian straightening of hair. Received very good service by stylist Russell as he helped with the process paced very well in timing and result. Lisa Thomas Ridgewood was referred by my friend in Mahwah. I simply liked it a lot

Great experience! The salon is welcoming and clean. Everyone was professional and kind from start to finish. Taylor did my cut and she was great - I will be back! It was really nice to see the owner at the salon working and supporting with the new apprentices. Overall the experience was relaxing, non-pretentious, and I love by cut!

I don’t know where to start. I took my mom to get her hair colored ( jet black ). I usually take her to Bloomfield but this time i took her to this one bcs they have available appointment. When they Finnish my mom hair had a brown shade to it so my mom requested to be fixed. They called the manager and ohhh boy. She said they are busy and won’t be able to fix it. Then she said “ oh we’ve been doing this for 20 years and the hair is black “. At the end she told me and my mom byeeee get out of the store. She kept saying byeeee byeee in a nasty tone. Please go spend your money somewhere else where you are appreciated and your concerns are heard. I also felt the racism in her voice (we are not white). I have a vid of her in will post.
