The coffee was ok, but what was disturbing was that the owner was sitting outside yelling at people not to sit at his tables. Me and my family witnessed customers who were sitting down at the tables outside eating bagels (not from his coffee shop) getting yelled at by him to leave because they were eating bagels from a different store even though they bought coffee from him. But what was more disturbing was an elderly women taking a seat for a moment to catch her breath getting yelled at by him to get up and leave because she did not buy something from him. Food was average but for this customer service I will never come back.

They poured milk directly from the bottle into my flat white! Have never seen a coffee shop make flat white this way! Didn't like the taste at all. Def not going back

Such a delightful little place. The coffee is wonderful,. The people are lovely. They let us bring in our dog and there is a fireplace to warm your hands on cold days. What more could you possibly want to wake up for winter or summer.

Friendliest Barista I've ever met. Had a great conversation with him and my friends for a good 40 minutes. Anything there is going to be at minimum great, at best best mind blowing.

This is my favorite coffee shop! Very spacious and clean environment; it's the perfect place to bring your laptop and get some work done. Staff are friendly and can recommend drinks to you if you're not sure what to get! The matcha is a must-have here.

They make an excellent coffee. Have some small baked goods for purchase and have options for vegans. Can get it to go, WiFi available inside.

Quaint little coffee shop. Heavy on antique decor and charm. Stayed alittle while and enjoyed a pumpkin dark chocolate muffin and an iced coffee. Muffin was awesome, coffee… not so much. Really fruity tasting coffee which isn’t really my vibe, but could be someone else’s. Glad I visited tho!

It is a nice coffee. My only item is music that was a bit heavy for my liking. No music is often better .

Bulldog is a wonderful coffee shop that's a great spot to chill out or get some work done during the day. They have a variety of vegan-friendly stuff from their bakery and recently introduced these cakey donuts that are amazing. I always get an oat or cashew milk latte when I'm here and no one does it better. All the baristas are super nice. My favorite place to get coffee in Ridgewood.

Believe the previous reviews. The coffee is alright but the owner gives very nasty looks outside and makes you feel extremely unwelcome. Will never return again.

Ambience is great, great place to hang out. The coffee needs to be better. Espresso is consistently sour. Other than that, I dig this place

It may seem a strange place to have a coffee shop. On weekdays the commuters pass through the Ridgewood train station to work or back home. On weekends why sitting a coffee shop that reminds you about the coming monday commute? But some do enjoy sitting here, work free, and enter a little of world of their own, and you may too.

I often come here to work or meet up with a friend and it’s Like walking into a friends house every time. Everyone is pleasant, 10 out of 10 coffee, lattes and baked goods. relaxing inviting atmosphere. Love this coffee shop.

Cozy, comfortable feeling as soon as you walk in to this coffee shop. Freshly baked treats - exceptional coffee at a very convenient location before launching off to explore town. Neatly tucked away across the street from the train station. My favorite place to grab a cup of joe Ask for the love bites for a quick pick me up....

Coffee, cookies, etc. were generally good, but the price was high compared to other stores.

Iced mocha didn’t really taste like anything except almond milk. WiFi was good. Ambience was nice. Coffee was 2/10

I want to love this place. Their space is cute and baked goods are fab. The coffee is solid. BUT, we purchased 2 bags of beans to brew at home, and unfortunately they were subpar. They did not seem to be roasted enough, and they didn’t even have a strong coffee aroma. We brought the beans back, thinking it was a mistake and they would replace the beans. The owner gave us a hard time and took the beans back, threw them in the hopper to be brewed in the cafe! He then gave us ONE bag (in exchange for the TWO we had purchased initially) of a darker roast. They aren’t much better. Unfortunately due to the customer service, and questionable quality of their roasting, we will not be back.
