It was a truly delightful experience. From start to finish, the flavors and presentation of each dish were impeccable. For my appetizer, I indulged in the Tahdig with Gheymeh, and it was an absolute treat. The crispy and golden Tahdig perfectly complemented the savory Gheymeh, creating a harmonious combination of textures and tastes. It set a high standard for the rest of the meal. There is a particular type of bread they serve with a table which mostly reminds traditional Barbari, and I liked it. Moving on to the entree, I opted for the Koobideh Kabob, which did not disappoint. The juicy and flavorful ground meat, seasoned to perfection, was grilled to perfection. It was served with fragrant saffron rice and grilled tomatoes, adding delightful freshness. Each bite was a burst of deliciousness, and I couldn't help but savor every mouthful. To end the meal on a sweet note, I chose the Faloodeh for dessert. The delicately flavored frozen rosewater and vermicelli noodles, topped with a tangy syrup, was a refreshing and light way to conclude the dining experience. It provided a perfect balance to the richness of the previous courses, leaving me feeling satisfied and content. The service throughout the meal was friendly and attentive, and the restaurant's ambiance, with Persian music playing in the background, added to the overall enjoyment of the dining experience. I was particularly impressed by the attention to detail in the presentation of each dish, as it truly elevated the entire experience. I highly recommend this Persian restaurant to anyone looking for an authentic and flavorsome culinary journey. Whether you're a fan of traditional Persian cuisine or simply curious to try something new, you won't be disappointed. I'll definitely be returning to explore more of their menu in the future!

I don't recommend the Joojeh kabob (chicken with bone) nor the Gheymeh (split pea stew). Only the Barg kabob is worth trying. We visited Parisa on a Saturday early evening. It wasn't busy but we were sited right in front of the counter with so many of the staff members standing and walking around us. At least 4 to 5 staff members were standing idle in front of the kitchen some staring at the customers. When asked for a different table more in the corner, we were told all tables were reserved, while they all remained empty for the entire 30-40 minutes that we were inside. About the food, we ordered the tahdig and Gheyme (the split pea stew) for appetizers, the tahdig was okay but the Gheyme was pretty greasy and definitely not the best I've had. For entre we got the Joojeh kabob (saffron marinated chicken) and Sultani (Barg and Koobideh kabob). The Joojeh was Cornish hen drenched in turmeric instead of Saffron and flavorless. The Koobideh was okay but the Barg kabob was perhaps the best part of the order, still greasy but nevertheless tender and flavourful. I wouldn't go back to Pardis even if I lived nearby. Unfortunately, similar to other Persian restaurants in the North East, Pardis is branding persian food as inaccessibly high end food charging a pretty penny for relatively low cost dishes of small portion Kabob, stews, and rice.

Me and my Husband absolutely love this place. Food is Delicious😋 We love their lamb dishes. They must have a secret seasoning recipe because the taste is exquisite. Jose always takes good care of us and He is super nice and attentive as well as the rest of the staff. We totally recommend this place!

my family and I wanted to try something new ,so we went to this restaurant the reason I’m giving it 2 stars because the food wasn’t delicious my husband didn’t like the chicken and the meat wasn’t that good as well.I’m vegetarian so the food that I tried wasn’t tasty and that’s my opinion maybe others would enjoy but the restaurant is very clean and the lady on the register is nice the waitress I’m not crazy about her she takes her sweet time and wasn’t welcoming

What food in heaven must taste like! We weren’t expecting much as we have had Mediterranean food overseas and state side. HOWEVER this food absolutely blew anything I’ve ever eaten before away. I’ve never had chicken so buttery soft before nor have I ever had such amazing appetizers before. Everything here tasted AMAZING!

Absolutely delicious kabab & rice! We went to Parisa for a Sunday dinner. In a packed restaurant, luckily we got the last table without waiting. The inside of the restaurant is pretty new and looks fantastic. The menu has decent amount of items. As I wanted to try many of their items, we went with the combination platter that comes with chicken, beef and lamb kabobs. We loved the kabobs, especially the chicken and lamb. It was seasoned so good! And they got one the best kind of rice. Long fluffy and a delight to eat with the kabobs. We had an awesome dinner. Certainly going to be our go to place for kabobs in the future.

Very flavorful Persian/Iranian cuisine. We visited today celebrating a birthday. Had a good dinner. At the end they were rushing us out. I guess they close early by 7:45 pm or so.

Great experience. Busy place for a Wednesday evening dinner. They were able to accommodate us. Great service. Food was very good portions, a little lacking in flavor but tasted fresh and homemade. BYOB so bring something with ya! Fair prices for the portions too .

The food was tasty, specially the stew. I loved the kebob! The only problem was that we had two separate orders and the portions were different. Also the second order was delivered late!

Funny story! We found parking right in front of the restaurant and thought we got super lucky! We walked in and they could not find our reservation... the owner kindly asked to confirm the phone # we called. That was when we realized that we were in the wrong restaurant. We were in Pardis Persian Grill. And we made reservations for this restaurant Parisa Persian Grill. Which was around the corner from where we parked. Both restaurant said it happens all the time LOL 😆 Service was outstanding. Everyone helped us with the menu and helped explain things we didn't know. Red Lentil Soup - yummy very tasty soup. A little spicy. Brook Trout - this was a good fish but it was just a little too burnt for my taste, I didn't get to enjoy the skin. I had to just scraped the yummy white flesh off the skin. The seasoning was delicious. The dill rice was amazing! Ghormeh Sabzi - Persian beef Stew, with beans, dill, parsley and other spices. This was good, I'm not a bean person so I left this to hubby who loves beans. Our friend ordered the meatless version and after tasting the dill rice opted to get his own order to go with his meatless Ghormeh Sabzi hehehe

This place is out of this world! I’ve eaten a lot of hummus in my lifetime, but this is hands-down the best! Great food and service all around. I ordered the shrimp kebab and had a side of albaloo polo. Best meal I’ve eaten in Ridgewood!
