Everyone at Moxie made me feel so welcome! The blowout was beautiful and lasted for the entire wedding I attended. I got so many compliments on my makeup. Beautiful space and will return.

The salon is amazing!! So clean and friendly and run meticulously by Jennifer, the owner! Who is just amazing! I got my hair cut and highlighted by Maria. Ran by an amazing woman, jennifer, who is always donating her and her staffs time to charitable events like the prom event I held last year, Gifting girls prom hair and makeup. I always get the best blowouts & makeup. The staff is very accommodating to a last minute person like myself.

The salon is amazing!! We love Melanie From color, to cuts, to keratin treatments she is the best. The shop is always clean and run so well They are always on time which is very important There is always an upbeat vibe and the stylists are all so nice to each other help as well The owner Jen is so welcoming and interacts with the clients.

Absolute scam artists! Do NOT trust that they won’t change the rules on their packages or memberships and the stylists are rough and inexperienced and rip your hair out with the blow out. The new owner was rude and had no resolution and didn’t care. Buyer beware, I will be disputing their ripoff with amex!

This place is a 10/10! Clean, great staff, and professional. The owner, Jen, is one of the nicest humans and treats her clients like family. I go to Maria for my hair - she does a PHENOMENAL job at coloring my hair, furring it, and styling it. I’ve gone to get my makeup done their before. They were able to help me out last minute and did an incredible job. I highly recommend this place for all your hair and makeup needs!

My 4 yr old son got his hair cut at Moxie. They kept him calm and engaged through out the cut. When it was over he thought his was the coolest guy in town. Highly recommend !!!

If you happen to be a mindful person that pays attention to you space time continuum then MOXIE, RIDGEWOOD is for you. The owner (Jennifer) pays strict attention to her clients comfort, needs and wants. Cleanliness and Professionalism is a top priority as I can see, she along with her staff are ever so talented and friendly. Please if you are unhappy during your service speak to your stylist on site and or manager if Jennifer is not personally there they will contact her and make it so you are accommodated. Lastly, the decor is light and airy, and very spacious. I’ve been going to Moxie for over a year and I noticed it never felt crowded and over booked, especially at this sensitive time in our lifetime. Check out Moxie’s window display at any holiday on the calendar it’s right in point! More talent!

Amazing Experience! I had my hair and makeup done for a wedding and could not have been happier with the results. Both the stylist for my hair and makeup were top notch, extremely professional and my before and after photos say it all! First time here and I love how Melanie did my hair! She listened to what I wanted, gave some advice and expertise on what she thought would work with my hair and got to work. It came out 10/10 and I am so so thankful for the ladies there. Definitely would recommend to anyone who's looking to get haircut or styled, especially for those with long hair. They won't over cut!! I was recommended Moxie by various people for my engagement cut, color, style and makeup and I could not have picked a better place! They absolutely knocked my look out of the park! Melanie did my hair and Sara did my makeup. They were both super professional, kind, and accommodating. I brought in multiple pictures for inspiration and they were able to mix and match elements from each and truly brought my dream look to life for my special day. I would highly recommend! Looking forward to getting my professional shots back in a few months.

My daughter and I both had appointments last weekend for her First Holy Communion and it was a wonderful experience. I had trouble finding a salon open super early before church and Moxie was recommended as they open at 8. I spoke with Jennifer (the owner) and she made sure we both had the first appointments! When we arrived, the salon was fully open, super clean and the stylists were ready for us all before 8 am! My daughters updo was BEAUTIFUL! And I had a perfect and relaxing blowout. It was so nice to have a stress free morning before our big day. I’ll definitely be back!

What a beautiful hair salon! Was greeted with a friendly smile as soon as I walked in and checked in quickly for my appointment! Was offered bottled water or coffee and was escorted directly to Ayet, the lady who did my color and cut. I am beyond thrilled with the outcome. It took me a long time to find a Salon I love and a stylist that did exactly what I asked. I highly recommend the Moxie and will absolutely return. I always see Ayet and she is by far the most amazing stylist out there. Her work is unique. The amount of compliments I receive after my appointments truly reaffirms the quality of her work! I always leave with what i ask and feel amazing !! She puts in time and effort to ensure the client is satisfied! My young daughter has gotten the same treatment and she loves it just as much.. I had my first experience at Moxie Salon in Ridgewood today. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with a warm friendly hello and Angelica showed an immediate desire to assist me. She explained everything to me from start to finish and was very gentle with my hair. If you are looking for people who are genuinely there to care for your hair and make you feel like a totally different person I definitely recommend Moxie Salon in Ridegwood. Definitely will visit again ☺️

I had a great experience at Moxie. I spoke directly with the owner, Jen before I made my appointments. I needed both hair and makeup done for 4 family members for my daughter's Bat Mitzvah. I was a bit nervous as I had tried another salon and wasn't happy with the results. We did a "trial" a few weeks before as my daughter had a photo shoot. We were blown away at the amazing job that the makeup artist did. On the day of the event, all 4 of us had our hair and makeup done with absolutely no issues. We all looked amazing!! The hair stylists were Ayet, Hayet and Shauntice and the makeup was with Niveen. In this world of almost zero customer service, the owner Jen went above and beyond just to make sure that we were happy. She is an amazing person and I highly recommend this salon. You won't be disappointed!

Went for makeup and a blowout before attending an event. Would not return to this salon. One picture is right in the salon. The other is a few hours later. $150 for this makeup and blowout? Definitely would not return. Got makeup and blowout at a different Moxie and it lasted through 8 hours of an outdoor festival. This blowout didn't even make it to the reception.

The Salon is spacious, clean. and nicely decorated. Staff are well trained and friendly. The owner, Jennifer is amazing, friendly and beautiful, who drove me home after the service due to I might get home late by walking home! I never had such superior and wonderful experience in any Salon. Strongly recommend to try out different products and services offered in Moxie!! 👍👍👍👍👍
