I had booked a table here for my father's 70th birthday. The visit was like a trip to Thailand. We were very kindly welcomed at the entrance and shown to the table. The table was beautifully decorated and even had a small bouquet of fresh flowers. The food was absolutely perfect and the portions very generous. You felt like you were throughout on holiday. I can only recommend everyone to give it a try Ambience 5 stars Service 5 stars Food 5 stars

What a big disappointment, especially given its lovely ambience and interior decoration. The food was mediocre but very expensive. Worst of all, the service was appalling, our waittress was rude and pushy, and clearly hates her job. I would certainly not come back here and I wouldn't recommend this tourist trap.

Maybe this restaurant is too good, so it's very crowded, everybody sits a little uncomfortable... Except it, all the appetizers-grilled skewers are good, main dishes are even better, really recommend the rice in pineapple and dishes 135-fish with red curry, these two are so flavorful, others are also scrumptious so we left really nothing in plates, not even any sauce!🤤 Traditional dessert mango sticky rice is delicious, too. Eat with amazing 🍻, what a great night to eat with friends.

Having read about awards and bunch of good reviews we decided to go and have dinner at Rana V. Location itself is very convenient just few minutes away from Konstablerwache. As for the restaurant itself loved the decoration and the ambiance. Very beautiful contrary to many Thai restaurants in restaurant that have good food but are basically like canteens. Here it is ideal even for special occasions. The staff was friendly and the menu huge so many different options to choose from. My friends decided to have chicken dishes and they were delicious my choice I guess was not good . The crispy duck was too crispy and not enough sauce. I regreted having chosen this dish. The portions were big and contrary to what some claim the prices are good taking into account the restaurant itself and the portions. I will give it for sure another try and can recommend it

The indoor design is fancy but the food was a bit pricey. For Thai food there are better choices in town.

Used to be lovely. Now the service is just not up to scratch. Sat in corner by the open despite pre-booking and place being available. Long wait for food. 75 minute wait for food. Table had previous guests food stains. Unable to get service or attention. Waited 20 minutes just to ask for an extra drink with my meal. The very worst was when I complained to the waitress at the end when I paid, I was told it is quite normal and I should be grateful it was not even worse than what we had experienced. No apologies and no discount.

Food, service, and atmosphere were delightful. The food was amazing. Many different flavors to experience with the appetizers. Pad thai with prawns was amazing. I will definitely visit again.

Always happy to come here though I still think Aroydee is a bit better. My GF and fiancee is Thai and she and her friends prefer Aroydee. However a great place still!

We tried chicken pad Thai noodles and chicken satay; we were fresh and good but not the best I have tried so far. Lovely outdoor seating area, quick service, helpful and friendly staff.

The atomsphere is really good there. The staff are nice and polite. The food was brilliant, the taste of food is very similar to Traditional Thai food which I had in Bangkok. I have been many Thai restaurant in Europe including UK, Netherlands and Germany. This Thai restaurant is one of the best one in Western. However, it just a little bit expensive.

Nice atmosphere and staff friendly but the food we got was not the best... it didn't help either to explain to me that my impression was wrong as they "have been in business for 30 years" - food quality can never rely on old victories. Crispy duck should be crispy... very simple. The only thing saving a two star review was that the active owner offered a new crispy duck...

Amazing place. Beautiful atmosphere and the food is delicious. The menu has a great variety. I requested for some chilli and I got three different options. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Even when talking on the phone to make the reservation there were no issues.

I was there tonight, 18/04/2023. Food is not good. Tom Yam was very primitive with only 2 (!) shrimps. Beef in green curry - so bad, very plain taste, I couldn't finish. Definitely not worth the prices. Moreover, the lady (i think a head waitress or admin, in golden skirt and black laces blouse) was quite rude. I asked for her recommendation for the main dish, she wasn't able to describe and advice, moreover, she was rushing to get away from me. It's not like it was the busiest time, customers were already leaving. Avoid.

Very disappointing, especially after reading all the positive reviews. We ordered spring rolls with chicken, fish cakes, pad thai prawn and fried rice. The fish cakes very rubbery and tasteless. They first brought us the wrong spring rolls (vegetarian), and when the chicken ones came out they were okay but nothing special. The same goes for the pad thai: pretty good but not remarkable. The fried rice was actually very tasty. With four Singha beers, our bill came to 80 Euro, which is far too high for the mediocre food. An especially negative standout was the service: the waitress was pushy, unsmiling and didn't even apologize for bringing us the wrong spring rolls. Certainly more German service style than Thai. Even though the ambiance is nice, this is not a place we would return to.

The interior is nicely decorated. The staff was very friendly. The menu has a nice selection to choose from. The food was super tasty and the portion is big enough. I really liked the dessert mango with rice.

Very good food, the beef was very tender, the Satay is excellente. I have enough eat. The staff is also very good, the service is fast and the price is correct. I recommend this restaurant.

Really good authentic Thai food. I particularly recommend the Rama V Duck dish, perfectly balanced flavours and super crispy. The curry shrimps and Thai basil beef were also very good. Highly recommended

A very nice restaurant : the atmosphere was cozy / good for a romantic dinner, the food was excellent, the staff was friendly and attentive. The menu is available in German and English. The prices are appropriate, but definitely also not cheap: you should plan with 35 EUR per person. I can highly recommend their Thai ice tea!

It's possible that sometime they had delicious food. Now the food is not tasty at all and does not look like Thai food.Service is slow. Booking is also difficult.

I travel to Frankfurt 2 or 3 times a year for business and always dine here. Excellent food, extensive menu, great service and fair prices. Met the owner the other night and he enjoyed hearing that I called it the best Thai restaurant in Germany (not that I have been to any others ☺️)

The food was okay (a bit salty thou), it comes with huge portion. we used to live in South Asia, so the price-wise, it is really espensive. For example pad thai is 19.5euros!! If you go Thailand, it is like 2 bucks, in the restairant, still less than a few bucks only..🤣🤣but we enjoyed our food and singha beer in the middle of Germany. It was good💚

It’s a shame that I didn’t read the negative reviews about the cuisine and poisoning in this restaurant before my visit. I'm shocked by the service and quality of the food. We were served duck that was bad taste and smell, rubbery and not crispy. It was just not fresh! When we asked the waitress to take away the spoiled duck, an incredible scandal broke out. She started shouting at us in front of the whole restaurant, shoving a plate with duck in my face. Then she started shouting at the next table that they were eating this duck and were silent and everything was fine for them. So why don’t we eat it 😳. That was very rude and humiliating. Everyone was in shock. Her scream and scandal could not be stopped! She was very aggressive. Honestly, now I’m even afraid to go somewhere after the stress I experienced ((( Never in my life have I seen such wild behavior and it was really shocking. At the same time, the rest of the staff did not even try to come up and stop this aggression. When I asked to call their director, I was rudely refused😩
