all over great Hotel & great Location. Friendly familiar atmosphere Great Breakfast- I assume it a little bit expensive for Saarbrücken.. My personal opinion. But good. Friendly staff anywhere. Pool looks great - could not join. gym too small , BUT possibilty to train in LOFT Gym in the center- that was the reason for booking. things to improve: long hair from the cleaning ladys in the room In the bathroom hairs as well summary : good stay

Modern and clean hotel, easy to find at a good location. The rooms are very spacious, well maintained and clean. Personnel is very friendly and supportive. Spacious parking, both outside and inside. Also there are e-Steps available for easy transfer to nearby restaurants or shops. During the evening the garage is closed, which is good. However we arrived by electric car and the reserved (working) charging point is inside the garage. We weren't informed so we couldn't charge during the night, which was a problem the next day. Despite this we had to pay for parking.

Expensive... The breakfast was not included in the 100€ room price, instead it costs 17€... 17€ for a breakfast is mind blowing! Auto check-in also didn't work... Heater in the room almost doesn't work. Fridge does not work. For the price, it should be all very good, but not really.

The hotel is located in a less than ideal location if you’re walking or don’t have transportation. I paid for a Penthouse suite and unfortunately the A/C was not working and after being moved to a second room and having the same issue I decided to stay at a different hotel. The room (and staff) was aesthetically pleasing, unfortunately the room was just too hot to handle.

Service, breakfast and cleanliness were good. Style is a bit on the old side. They tried to make it look cool but you will see the old hotel shining through everywere.

After 11pm only self check in and could be a issue if the Internet is not working. Restaurant must be reserved even for hotel guests. Not recommend at all

Worst fitness room I’ver ever seen. Service was ok, they do not worry much about guests

The hotel was pretty good. The room was clean and the staff was nice. But unfortunately the swimming pool wasn’t that big and there was swimming lessons for kids at the pool of a hotel!

The Hotel AM Triller is a lovely hotel, and I've been staying there on business trips to Saarbrucken since 2014. The location is perfect walking distance to the city center and to my work location, so I make a point of walking from the hotel as much as possible. It's on a lovely hill in a perfectly quiet neighborhood overlooking the city, and it is only a short 10min walk to the St. Johann Markt with several bars, restaurants, and scenic views of the river Saar. The staff is EXCEPTIONAL, and always provide quick and expedient service. They are all very friendly and eager to please the guests. The restaurant is a great environment, but I have not personally eaten there for dinner. The hotel-provided breakfast is great, though. For us Americans, there are scrambled eggs and bacon at the buffet, along with a veritable host of typical German fare. I love enjoying my morning coffee and breakfast while reading news and looking out over the treetops below that the view from the breakfast room(s) allow. Each room is decorated differently, and they are all charming. You have to see them to believe them. But I recommend rooms on the fourth floor or higher so that you have a view of the city from your large windows, as well. There is also a lovely fitness center on site. Although the workout equipment is not very diverse, there is a nice pool and a sauna. The Triller is a lovely hotel and I recommend staying there for any business or pleasure travelers coming to Saarbrucken! -James Dotson, South Carolina, US - 07/20/17

I'll start by saying this was our 3rd time staying here. The hotel room and all that the hotel has to offer is outstanding. Very clean, very comfortable, very enjoyable. The staff here are great and treated me and my wife great. The outside area is beautiful and the hotel is a short walk to the downtown area. I highly recommend staying at the Hotel Am Triller, you will not be disappointed by this hotel.

I stayed in a comfort room which was great for one person. Bed was really comfortable & bathroom was spotlessly clean. A kettle is provided along with tea & instant coffee. There was a desk for working at and a small table in the room. I didn't eat in the hotel so can't comment on the food. Staff were very friendly and if they're English wasn't fluent (most were!) then they were happy to seek help. The location is a few minutes (steep) walk from the river and close to the museum. It's on a quiet street which I appreciate. My room had a view east towards a nearby hill although I couldn't see the centre.

The hotels location is very quiet, not far from down town, with a great view of the city. I was competely satisfied with my room - size and facilities very comfortable, not to forget about the bed! I had a wall tattoo from „Saarlegenden“ at my bedside walll, quite funny, local spirit. All Staff (Reception and Breakfast) I met was very friendly and smiled. Too bad, that I didn‘t have time for the swimming pool this stay.

Friendly and competent staff. Good and quiet 4 star hotel, great breakfast. Kitchen closes at 9 pm, but you can eat nearby at e.g. tomato2.
