A good shopping center, There are many brand shops here. but a few shops are closed, The mall has Rimi Hyper Grocery Store, where I buy groceries. And there's also euronic's electric items store. In this mall free internet available.

Overall a nice and big mall with many different stores. The layout is comfortable. There’s a huge Rimi, one of the most reasonably priced ones i’ve seen. But the toilets can be only paid for in cash and aren’t taken care of at all, it was a pretty nasty experience.

Good location near the train station. Like many other Latvian shopping centers, the stores are mainly expensive branded stores, whose price level is not much different from the Finnish one. A neat whole in itself, though. However, finding a toilet, for example, turned out to be surprisingly difficult.

Large shopping center at perfect location. Have visited it multiple times when I was in Riga. It was recently renovated and expanded with new sections. It's quite modern and fresh in some parts but the layout is odd, that's because it was part of an old train station stop and have been expanding from that. There is still train station that you can use or you can follow the tunnel instead and reach the other side through tracks towards central market. They have quite a good selection of shops and places to visit for essentials, food or gifts. Free things that I don't like is the type of people that are typically hanging around the area, some are drunk, some are just shady, so beware. It should be safer inside, I think security guard do their job well and keep order in place. I personally witnessed how one individual was forcibly escorted out of the area.

Too crowded place, rarely convenient to shop. I like this place and I would be here more often if a lot of cons are eliminated. Signs are not always informative. Sometimes I can't find the right department or store. Sometimes shops or restaurants close without warning.

Big shopping mall located at central Riga with lots of different clothing , grocery and coffee shops, almost everything you want the main railway station and post office as well. Prices vary depending on what you want and quite affordable, you can’t come here and leave without seeing what you want , people are friendly incase you get lost or unsure about what you looking for however, it’s crowded and many people on the streets drinking and begging for money , they are not aggressive well but it doesn’t hurt to just be on guard. Not sure how safe it can be at night closes at midnight .

Great shopping mall in the centre of Riga city. You can find nearly everything here. Also, it is the main train station and you can buy the tickets from here. Recommended by Numm!

I liked it! But some romani child asked me for money inside the mall... he proceeded to walk off with a suspicious man who had asked me for cigarettes 5 seconds ago... Awkward! Also they have adorable rats scurrying right outside the mall 🐭

Not as dangerous as everyone tells you, although bringing a knife for self-protection is not the worst idea. Takes some getting used to this place before feeling somewhat safe. I suggest holding your phone and wallet very tightly, same with alcohol and cigarettes. Except for the fact that the crime rate in Origo alone is probably higher than in all of Riga, it is all right. They made some changes and now only half of the mall looks musty! Big steps! There are some normal stores, which is also good if you get bored while waiting for the train. If you are a neat freak Origo is not for you, especially the bathrooms…Said some bad stuff about this place, but I appreciate it being open at the darkest nights and the earliest mornings. Everyone should go at least once, will not regret it.

My visit to Origo Shopping Centre in Riga was a fantastic shopping experience. The center's modern and sleek design immediately caught my attention, and its convenient location near the central train station made it easily accessible. Origo offered a wide variety of stores, from well-known international brands to local boutiques, catering to various tastes and preferences. It was a one-stop destination for all my shopping needs, ranging from fashion and accessories to electronics and household items. The staff at the stores were friendly and helpful, providing excellent customer service. They were willing to assist with any questions I had and went the extra mile to ensure I found what I was looking for. One of the highlights of Origo Shopping Centre was the food court, which featured a diverse selection of eateries. I indulged in a variety of cuisines, from local Latvian dishes to international delights, making it a culinary journey within the mall itself. The center's cleanliness and well-maintained facilities added to the overall positive experience. It was evident that Origo took pride in providing a pleasant and comfortable environment for shoppers. Furthermore, the wide range of entertainment options, including a cinema and a children's play area, made it an ideal place for families to spend quality time together. Parking was also convenient, which made it easy for me to access the shopping center without any hassle. In conclusion, my experience at Origo Shopping Centre was exceptional. It combined a diverse shopping selection, friendly staff, delicious dining options, and a welcoming atmosphere, making it a must-visit destination for anyone looking to enjoy a day of shopping and entertainment in Riga.

Great after the construction. Has many shops and main grocery store on the ground floor. The station needs a makeover. Usually pretty crowded.

The shopping centre in Riga is not only a place to buy goods and services, but also a hub of transportation and entertainment. Located in the heart of the city, it is connected to the largest railway station of Latvia, which operates trains to various destinations within and outside the country. The shopping centre offers a wide range of options for different tastes and budgets, from fast food chains like KFC, Hesburger, Chile Pizza, and Lido, to more upscale restaurants like Double Coffee and Lage. There are also several coffee shops, such as Nervasen, where customers can enjoy a hot drink and a snack. The shopping centre has something for everyone, whether they are looking for clothes, accessories, electronics, or hobbies. There are many popular brands, such as Reserved, Crop, Sinsey, and Nike, as well as local shops that sell unique products. For those who are interested in collecting old coins and bank notes, there is a photo studio that specializes in this niche. There is also a sports land, where sports enthusiasts can find equipment and apparel for their favorite activities. The shopping centre is also convenient and accessible, with a post office, a bank, several ATMs, a toilet, and a mobile shop that offers services from LMT, Bite, Tele2, and Coverme. The shopping centre is open every day from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and welcomes visitors from all over the world. It is a place where people can shop, dine, relax, and have fun.

Amalgamation of lots on offer.Toilets though are "guarded" by a bulldog looking woman, who does not say(maybe because she doesn't care or maybe she has no knowledge of the language in the country). And the toilets themselves aren't clean,no toilet paper. Shops conveniently placed everywhere, plenty to choose.Rather busy, but it's to expected.Still again I should remind that the national language is latvian, which a lot of the shopkeepers do not adhere to.

Basic shops you can find few restaurants, fast food like KFC, and Rimi closes at midnight, there are Atms available for deposits, a Pharmacy all those close around 21.00 hours. Not a fan of the place though due to many bad experiences on Services.

Big mall, but 30 or 40% of stores are empty. We didn't get anything other than sweet treat for kids. Were looking for winter jacket.

I haven't been for a while in Riga so it was great do discover how massivly this shoping centre is changed it was extended and renovated, it does much more space now, also you can get right to train platform from it rather then going all the way around, and of course range of shops and also areas where you can just sit and relax, charge your phone or any other device and enjoy atmosphere.

Origo in Riga offers a fantastic shopping and entertainment experience. The central location makes it convenient, and the diverse range of shops and restaurants caters to various tastes. The mall's vibrant atmosphere adds to the overall appeal. From international brands to local favorites, there's a wide selection of retail options. Whether you're looking to shop, dine, or simply enjoy the lively ambiance, Origo is a must-visit destination in the heart of Latvia's capital.

I love the shopping centre and the shops they have there, but they need to turn down the heating. It is impossible to shop there at winter. Customers are wearing coats while Staff are working in t-shirts.

The mall is okay. You can find a lot of familiar shops/brands,but the atmosphere wasn't good as expected. The food isn't good at all. Probably for use and depends what you order. So might be 50/50

A good shopping mall, but a lot of closed shops. One thing I noticed was a rather unstructured opening hours regime… mostly shops open at 10:00 and closes at 21:00, but it seems like shops open and close rather randomly here. Exploring the mall will take you between the tracks, and you will find a Nike outlet shop and some other rarities. I recommend the Gan Bei restaurant and the Rimi Hyper!

Typical Latvian mall. Same stores and same resturants/cafes. Downside - restroom on 3rd floor only and you need to have exact change to pay. At least at other malls there are numerous restrooms and they are free.

After modernization and newer part opening, it has become brighter and better to go trough saying that, there aren't much good clothing stores, yet has various electronics stores where you can purchase various needs and well designed entrance to train station if you go trough the newer part of Origo.

Locational super, but people hanging around this place brings it down a lot. You can't walk around and not watch your back. Always have to be weary of pickpockets. Some drunks and hooligans fighting somewhere every day. Sketchy kid gangs have made it their base of operations. Other than that very happy with show they upgraded the whole shopping mall from its not at all charming past self. It became way bigger, slightly cleaner, brighter and a nicer place to go to than years ago.

Modern shopping center - but the eye shows not what really happens there. The place is still crowded with drunk people. This is after all the center located at the central station. It is very convenient located, but be aware that you will need to keep an eye on your belongings for them not to be stolen by people walking around the campus. Regardless of that the newly renovated part of this shopping centre is truly modernly beautiful. The other half not really. If you are looking for a shopping centre to find the most needed things for a trip with the train close to the train station this is the right place to go to but if you’re searching for a real shopping centre experience this is definitely not the place to go to end and the tourist it’s definitely a place to be careful.

Not a nice mall. Rimi here is chaotic and the whole shopping centre depressing. But the location by central station does not help. Gallerija centre is way better

Nice and cozy shopping center. In summer it is cool here and in winter- warm..An ideal location for travelers - the old town, Central market, the bus station are nearby... Origo shopping center smoothly flows into the Railway station or the Railway station flows into the shopping center))..this shopping center is not marked on the map)) On the territory of the Shopping center there are many small shops, cafes, bistros and fastfoods for different tastes and abundance... One can also just take a walk here..

Very central. Not my favourite spot, however. Plenty of shops, located all along train station premises. Some are closed due to reconstruction works, some are expanding - always busy and changing location. But! If you want to sit while waiting - almost impossible. Nothing much saying - comfy and clear to understand train station there.

  • 5/5 Daniel K. 1 year ago on Google
Recently renovated and expanded, now offering more parking spaces and more shops. Also making everything cleaner and brighter. This shopping center is also connected to the railway station which is being renovated right now. The shopping center has also a underground parking.

A large assortment of clothing and footwear stores, there are small cafes and fast food restaurants on the ground floor. It seems that the shopping center opened not so long ago, but the toilets (located only on the third floor) are not particularly pleasing with cleanliness.

Well what can I say. As a person who has done shopping there and worked there, I can say that security should do a better job. There's a lot of alcoholics, beggars and crazy teens just roaming around and decreasing the pleasant experience
