I ordered mutton and chicken biriyani. I wonder what it was. Since I ate only the mutton biriyani, I will comment only on that. The meat was tough and didn’t taste like mutton. The rice was soaked in some Low quality animal lard. I wonder where this restaurant is going. It used to be my go to restaurant for Indian food. Not anymore. I have commented to the staff the last 3 times about the same disappointment in their food. And seems like nothing has been done about it. Hence I will not return again.

Yesterday was a nightmare waiting for food for more than one hour. Really No class for such a service provided by Thakkara farwaniya. They are linguistic. They didn't bother to serve or even prepare the food ordered by me. They were serving people of their language (Malayali's) first who came even after half hour later then my order. Thakkara has a cheap mentality and linguistic staff.

Nothing to write about! Overall below average taste! Tried shap curry(hopeless), kadalkootu curry(no flavor of prawns or crabs), beef fry (hopeless), meen nirachathu (Shery fish. This one was ok. It was just fried fish with some some masala wrapped in leaf). Parotta is big but flop. Kulukki subathu is overly sweet. Helpful staff & decent ambience. Parking was not a problem. AC is not working well in the long hall. Will not go back again.

4 ⭐ for food 4 ⭐ for seating 5 ⭐ for service 5 ⭐ for tandoori platter It got good seating capacity, can even accommodate for a group of 15-20 people in a single huge space, apart from regular seating arrangement. That helps for big groups to have fun and food.

Wonderful Experience, Visited First time with office friends, Starters was good, Main lunch items was good and also After having food Lime juice is good. Couldn't find anything negative they even had charging ports inside restaurant. Staff people are friendly and ontime food served. The best place to have food with your family, the famous dish is kozhi koodan chicken/mutton dum biryani. It is so delicious. The biriyani being prepared by jeeraga samba rice and masala was so tasty. Too much of a crowd during the weekends.

South Indian restaurant located in Farwaniya. Parking slots are limited, if it it busy time you will find it hard to park your car. Food is good,but the price tag is high for all items. You can try meals for lunch, recommended. Staffs are very friendly and will guide you about the special dishes of the day. Have a good feast.

An extremely warm and homely place. Never for once we felt that we are in a restaurant, but were invited by our relatives. As far as food is considered, it is lip-smacking. This place is not only for one visit, but should be frequently visited. Too satisfied. True aura of India.

Positive 1)Hotel ambire is good. 2)Fish polichadu tasty Negative 1)Never find menu cards on the table,even waiters would bring menu card to customers. 2)What ever displayed on the menu never being served like drinks. 3) Never go restaurant after 2:00 p.m you will not get good service,hotel busy with parcel service. 4)They don't how serve fish meals,salt is essential part,which never kept on banana leaf 5) Kerala restaurant don't have special water eg : Jeera water,Karikali water or daha shamani 6) Butter milk or curd is not part of meals 7) King fish fry " less salt". Served with out garnisher 8) Meals are not served professionally Eg:you want you take eg:Fish curry,you want u ask Eg: Rice,sambar & side dishes 9)Side dishes missing inji pulli Extremely bad experience, very expensive restaurant. How can someone charge 4.3KD for 🐠 fish . Even i have Solomon fish fry would be cheaper??? Overall don't visit this place....

This is one place that consistently serves real good Kerala cuisine. I find the houseboat style interiors quite cute. We ordered squid roast , beef fry, ghee rice and chicken biryani .. the squid was exceptional. Thanks to Mujeeb for his excellent service as well.

Visited first time with a friend. We were looking for a veg meal and the menu was 90% non veg but recommendation by Mr.Rafeeq was excellent. Soup , starter and main course was excellent. Good value for money. Will recommed to others also. Nice service.

Ordered Fish Shappu Curry 6 KD Fish size was big But quality and taste … really really bad. Not cooked well, some kind of sore gravy also…! Some other curry ordered 6/10 marks
