Me and my brother had an amazing time here. Truly wonderful experience in the evening. We will happily come back. We didn't sleep in tents or anything, we had housed accommodation on site. This is definitely what I would suggest doing. The guys on site were so helpful as well.

We stayed in one of the lofts, so it was like a cabin with two single beds, a heater (which did not work unfortunately), a clothing rack, a fridge, two camp chairs and a fan. The beds and the sheets were quite comfy. The showers and the toilets were fairly clean (hot showers) and even though it was busy at times, we felt like there were enough facilities to accommodate everyone. Some things to improve: limit the noise after 00:00 (there were groups of party people in the accommodation area, partying till late at nigh which disturbed our sleep), add more floorboards to walk to the toilets ( too many puddles ), allow to pay deposit by card and not ONLY cash. Few things to bare in mind: no towels provided (you can purchase one ) and you must pay 150 euros in cash for deposit. Overall, a positive stay with some improvements it would be even better.

Good things: This camp is the best place if you want the full Oktoberfest experience. The main bar is the place where new friendships come to life, where people share both laughs and tears; You can't have that in a hotel. The shower in the morning is exceptional, water was always steaming hot and pleasant, except on the Saturday when a lot of people arrived and used up all of the hot water. Our tents had enough space for 3 adults to be comfortable even with the airbeds inside. The water doesn't go into the tent even during the rain days. With a sleeping bag it's very warm inside, so we didn't have any trouble sleeping. The staff is super nice and always ready to help you with any problem or question at any time of day. The beer in the bar is cheaper than in the festival and they serve food until they close at 2 AM; which is amazing for late night arrivers. When compared to prices in the city the food is delicious and affordable. Bad things: They never mentioned that you need to turn in a 20€ deposit for every item you rent at the check in. For example, if you take 2 airbads and 2 pillows you need to put it 80€ deposit for the items plus 60€ deposit for the tent (140€ total); which is quite a lot of money compared to the reasonable price of those individual items. Every second toilette is not cleaned often enough and has stains all over it which are disgusting to see. When the showers are all being used, there is not enough warm water for everyone and you are left showering with freezing cold water.
