This place used to be awesome. Definitely doesn't taste fresh anymore. The service was amazing, but my teenage son who will eat ANYTHING even said that he couldn't eat the chicken in the fettuccine. My food was fine, but it's really difficult to mess up spaghetti. But for the price, I wouldn't go here again for food that tasted like it was just reheated. Again, the staff were amazing and friendly

We were seated right away. Hugo was very nice and informative about the menu. We tend to split meals when we are on vacation so we don’t end up with leftovers. Usually we have to split it ourselves(which we don’t mind at all) but the person that plated our dinner was nice enough to do it for us. Everything was good. Thanks for being a part of making my birthday great(even if you didn’t know.)

We went last night, and the food was great, our server was awesome...but the hostess left something to be desired. She wasn't exactly rude, but not overly pleasant either. I highly recommend the soup, delicious..and the Pinon pesto salmon was OUTSTANDING!!! Took home some desserts. The tiramisu was the so fantastic, haven't tried the chocolate cake yet.

I heard good things about Joe’s Pasta House from others and my friend and I happened to be right by it yesterday, so we gave it a try. It was my first time eating here and it was EXCELLENT! The restaurant was clean and had a homey feel. Our server was attentive without being intrusive and kept our glasses full. The food! So good! Neither of us knew how big the portions were. We ordered fried zucchini, steamed mussels and the Greek salad. Each appetizer could have fed four people. My steamed mussels were cooked perfectly. It was the best steamed mussels I’ve had in NM so far. Our server told us the mussels are delivered every Thursday and is on the menu for dinner on Fridays. They usually sell out, but I was lucky they had some left on Saturday. The Greek salad was so fresh and not a single piece of limp or slimy lettuce. It was full of cucumbers, olives, artichoke hearts, etc. I was surprised at the very high quality of ingredients. We obviously couldn’t finish it all and our server boxed it all for us. I wish I’d gotten her name. I can’t wait to come back and try some of their pasta dishes. 😋

Wow, yum yum! Service was kind and patient and attentive! Alyssa was so sweet. Food was amazing! Pinon pesto salmon and baked cheese ravioli! Wheelchair accessible. Kid friendly. Extensive wine list. Definitely eat here! Relaxed environment. Great place to take a date. Dressy to very casual. Plenty of parking since it is at a shopping strip.

Service from start to finish was excellent. This was my first time here and I was amazed by how everything operated so effortlessly even on a busy Friday. It is a far drive from my house but worth every mile. We will definitely visit again soon!

Host got mad at us for discussing something instead of snapping to his call.. so that’s a nice way to walk in. The waiter was very nice. The pasta sauce was so bad we brought it home to conduct experiments. The Alfredo tastes like unsalted milk. The meat sauce is just not worth getting a car. But hey, at least it was expensive.

My granddaughter wanted to eat somewhere not usually frequented. We ended going for dinner, I had the salmon/vegetables and she had a pasta called pesto. It was great, salmon absolutely wonderful, my granddaughter also loved her dish. It was pricey, but worth it. We ordered some cheese sticks which proved to be too much, I mean we couldn't eat them, too much food. We loved the bread with the oil and tomatoes, this was given to us as we sat down. The raspberry tea was really good too. Strongly recommend this place to anyone and everyone. Hostess, servers and manager very courteous.

Today I had the best Italian food ever. What makes it even better is that I also experienced the best service I’ve had in a sit down restaurant. Hugo was so attentive and VERY knowledgeable of the menus for both food and wine. I will definitely be back and I will request this gentleman each time. It is very refreshing to find such a gem in my back yard!

Such large portions and great service for the price! As someone else has mentioned on here, the bread is a let down. It was cold and we only got four slices, but the table next to us got seven slices (lol we counted) and also only had two people at it. The fried calamari was great. I think our waitress was named Dana and it was her first day. She did amazing and was great about coming to check on us - but if she noticed we were fine she wouldn’t interrupt us and just let us keep eating. It was refreshing to not have a waiter stopping to talk every few minutes but instead be courteous of our date night. We had to wait about 10 mins. to be seated but the bartender was super nice and we got waters and drinks before being seated at our official table!

This is my first time coming here. I'm actually writing this while still dining. The experience has been excellent. The mozzarella sticks are amazing. Just look at that pull! Menu is moderately priced. Atmosphere is great.

First visit back since before Covid. New owners and management. Service was quick and friendly. Ordered for dine in and also a Lasagna ToGo for home. I had the Pesto Pasta w/Chicken, hubby had the Pasta Alla Vodka. Both sauces were very good, lots of flavor and not salty. We both had plenty for leftovers. Lemoncello cake and Spumoni for dessert. See photos and drool!

Exceptional visit. Real attention to detail, in the food and the service. Ingredients are fresh and delicious! Salads, fried mozzarella, cheese ravioli, all exceptional.

We tried Joe’s for the first time last night. We arrived after 7pm not knowing that they sometimes stop taking to-go orders after either 4pm or 5pm depending on how busy they are. They immediately let us know that they don’t usually do to-go orders after a certain time but they they would make an exception this one time. The gentleman who told us this was matter of fact but also respectful and kind. We really appreciated this. Please know that the hours listed online may not be correct and don’t take it personal if they aren’t serving take-out or maybe even seating guests after 4pm or 5pm. Businesses are still recovering from the pandemic, try to be understanding when things don’t go the way you planned. Don’t expect them to make an exception for you - they actually were slightly slower yesterday so they made the exception otherwise I’m pretty sure we would have been turned away. The food was very good and just want we had hoped for. Thank you to the whole team. We will definitely visit again while we are in town the next 3 months for work.

This was my 1st time eating here but it was really nice, the atmosphere was nice, they had decorations for Christmas. The wait time wasn't long at all, the food came very quick, the service was awesome, they have a really good selection of desserts but we got the canoli!

Food was not very good. The steak was not well trimmed. It sat under the heat lamps so long there was skin on the sauce. It was supposed to be medium rare but came out more medium. The chicken was tough. Service was fine.

A must eat place. First time here but will definitely be back! Food was AMAZING, service was just as good! Atmosphere was very nice and comfortable! No complaints! I had the green chile chicken ravioli and my husband had the ravioli Alfredo! I believe our servers name was Tim! He was absolutely amazing! Wish there were more like him!!!

Never been to Joe's, but it was a great experience. The staff are very attentive and you do not have to wait to for refills or to be seated. It was all fast service. We enjoyed the pineapple lemonade. So good and refreshing, Not too sweet nor sour! We will definitely be going back! Next time we're taking the kids... even they will love it (5&7).

Best Italian restaurant in New Mexico! Yes, I said it...all of New Mexico. I've traveled and eaten all across this state, so I've done the research. This is my favorite place to eat. It's a locals secret gem. We are so blessed to have Joe's in our neighborhood. The from scratch food and stellar service is why it's my regular spot. The wine list is pretty awesome too. Come with family or friends and take your time to relax and enjoy the Italian way of life in Rio Rancho, NM. Eat, drink and be merry!
