I really enjoyed this hotel, the service was impeccable, we got shown to our rooms and a great explanation of the local area was given. The rooms were really nice and clean. On the second day I hurt my foot falling down two steps in a local landmarks small spiral staircase and the staff here got me a bag of ice to help my foot recover without even asking, I'm really grateful for the help on reducing the swelling. Breakfast was nice and there were a lot of choices. Again service here was great. The only small downside was a lack of choice of TV channels but to be honest I didn't really come on holiday to watch TV 🙂

It's a really nice place, the carpets are a bit dated and old, but the room was clean and well equipped the breakfast was nice with a good selection. The staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. We really enjoyed our stay.

We were so much welcomed, the staff is truly amazing and provides you with everything you need. Rooms are very clean and so confortable. Not forgetting to mention the breakfast which has been the best from our trip ! The localisation is great, very much in the center and at the crossroad of all the castles. Thank you SBH you showed us what a true 4 stars should be … and you are very much on the way for 5 !

Location in the middle of town. The staff was great and helpfulll. They had the parking in front of the hotel free so they let us stay there. Clean rooms and a standard breakfast

4-stars is currently a bit overrated. Rooms are clean but safe was not working, mirror in bathroom broken and bed was squeaking. Reception staff was super nice and helpful, breakfast staff was absolutely not polite and certainly not service minded. Something to consider for hotel management.

Sintra Boutique Hotel is a charming spot right in the center of Old Sintra and across the street from Sintra National Palace. Also within walking distance is the National Pena Palace and the Moorish Castle. Because both are uphill, you may want to opt for a taxi or Tuktuk to get up to the top. The room was clean and spacious. AC worked well. Room was stocked with water, and a very small minibar (2 sodas). I was told my minibar was included. I would ask to double check if they don’t say at check in. Good coffee in the room too. I prepaid for breakfast and they had a decent spread each morning. Though they had the same spread both days I was there. Most everything is within walking distance. I had a rental car. There are two parking spots directly in front of the hotel for check in purposes. I was told there was a cost for parking, despite seeing online parking was free. It was either 10€ or 15€ per day. For self street parking not too far from the hotel, I was given a hang tag and free to park on my own. Apparently there is a garage that is farther away that you can park at, but I chose to find my own. Luckily I was able to find a really close spot. I wish there were more outlets in the room. Overall I did enjoy my stay.

We stayed here one night before flying home at the end of our Portugal trip. The location is fantastic - able to walk to all of the nearby restaurants after a busy day of sightseeing in Sintra. The room itself was simple yet comfortable. The staff was kind enough to prepare a breakfast box for us since we needed to head to the airport before the breakfast opened. While it wasn't the most memorable location we stayed in Portugal (those were far from the busy tourist areas), you'd be hard pressed to find a better location in the center of Sintra to use as a home before flying home or when you first arrive.

We stayed a couple nights at Sintra Boutique Hotel. The location is unbeatable-- walking distance to everything, and a small playground right out front! We traveled with our little one and the staff were very kind and accommodating. They helped us with suggestions for travel bookings, and made reservations for us at a local place we wanted to try. Breakfast was good, we usually ate on the patio out front. The rooms are nice and clean and ours had a large window looking onto the streets of Sintra! As it is a boutique hotel, the rooms are a bit smaller than some may expect, but ours had ample room for us to unpack and store our luggage. It was perfect for our 2 night stay!

Really nice boutique hotel. So the carpets are a little older and the wood trim is old, but the room is super clean, renovated bathroom, comfortable beds, nice views, solid breakfast, some nice freebies, good wifi. And an incredible staff. They were super attentive and helpful at check-in and with every question thereafter. The hotel is centrally located. Parking is not ideal but I didn't have a problem. The staff even offered to go back and get my luggage for me, knowing I had an uphill walk.

Were here for 1 night. Hotel very well located a few meters away from centre and all tourist amenities. Train ststion about 15 mins walk. Room quite spacious and well appointed. Staff were very helpful and attentive to details. Room overlooking nice views of rest of town surrounded with a lot of greenery. Will be back. Thanks for a lovely stay.

The location is absolutely perfect. By far the best part of our experience there was the staff! Every single one of the women that work there are friendly, knowledgeable, and truly go out of their way to help. Thank you, ladies!!!

If you drive a car here then it’s a problem. Their parking lot is 5 minutes walk but 20 minutes drive to the hotel. The private car park is very small space. Their Wi-Fi is not secure (no password required). Breakfast is great and location is vey central.

Loved our stay at Sintra Boutique Hotel. We stayed at the triple room. The location is perfect, staff is really nice and helpful, breakfast options are plenty and all really tasty. The only slight negative is there was only one not used outlet in the room. With three people needing to charge devices that is not sufficient. Also, the only mirror in the room was in the bathroom. Please also hang one somewhere in the room itself or in the closet door.

Very well located and offer an amazingly good breakfast. Room was spotlessly clean and the bed comfortable. In my case I had an issue with the AC and room was not heated at all, basically AC would light up as on in the panel, but nothing else happened. This made our 2 nights a little unpleasant due to the external low temperature. Although I understand I notified the front desk a little late in my stay, don’t believe this is something they shouldn’t be able to proactively detect themselves.

The location is great, super central. The rooms are nice. What would make me stay there again is the staff. They were exceptional.

Front desk people were very helpful with our luggage and told us what was open during the holidays. Perfect location! In the center of everything. Nice room, good size with great view, very clean and efficient. Hotel also provide a bottle of champagne and chocolate on New Year's Eve!! Loved it! Would come back

Very nice small hotel right next to the National palace in Sintra. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The room was simple but very comfortable and had a view of the palace. I highly recommend this place for a stay in Sintra.

Hotel is in a great location, comfortable, cleaned well. You get exactly as stated. The check in staff recommended excellent places to visit and eat which was wonderful. I would have not gone to Raiz (restaurant) without the recommendation and it was superb. I also visited Caiscais (city) and I am so glad I didn

Superb boutique hotel. Location, accommodation, staff and breakfast all excellent. No parking on site but they park your car for no extra charge. Highly recommend.

Brilliant hotel. Staff were super friendly and simply couldn't do enough for you. They even booked our tickets for the Pena Palace for us. The rooms were clean and comfortable with coffee facilities (but no kettle for tea), however the team were more than happy to bring up boiling water. Breakfast was superb with all you could (reasonably) ask for chess included hot items such as bacon, sausages, scrambled egg etc. The hotel has some parking facilities. We phoned ahead and found they'd reserved a space for us directly outside the hotel. They then asked us to leave our car keys with them while they went and parked it for us. Brilliant! They're very well located and with some fabulous restaurants nearby. We'd recommend you book at Incomum about a 10 mins walk away - but book early as it's very popular.

My husband and I spent four days here in May, the hotel is centrally located in Sintra, Portugal. The room was cleaned every day to a high standard, the staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast has a good veriety of items from cooked to cereal, fruit or yogurt, there are also cooked meats bread and desert's. Another great thing about staying here is that nothing much happens of a night close to the hotel, which means it's very quiet and peaceful so a good night's sleep is assured.

Wonderful place to stay in Sintra! The location is central, the room is very nice (only weird thing is 2 mattresses pushed together to form the bed), and the breakfast is one of the best included breakfasts we’ve had. Fresh orange juice, a wide selection of petite pastries, hot eggs and sausages, toast, and an assortment fresh fruit. So good! Bonus surprise was the window seat with castle views!

We read the great reviews and agree. This is a rare find. Large rooms. Modern. I especially liked the walk-in shower and not climbing into a tub. Just ask if you want one. Extremely friendly staff. We arrived early and they stored the luggage. The restaurant on site was superb for dinner. We had a wonderful evening meal. Breakfast is included. WiFi also. Convenient to all the transportation to attractions and can walk to others. This place is a gem

Very well located hotel if you plan to visit the different “must see” in the area. The rooms are spacious and there was plenty of good choice for breakfast. You have a selection of different pillows on demand if you have special wishes. The receptionist was very friendly and even helped us finding a parking place. I really recommend.

Highly recommend! This hotel is affordable, walk-able to most of Sintra, has comfortable beds, and the absolute best staff. All of their employees we interacted with were very friendly and eager to help us with anything we needed. Especially Evandra - She was our favorite! Also, the breakfast was delicious! Bonus Feature: They have complimentary espresso and baked goods every day!
