Very nice facilities, great location and views, but do not expect much of the service, even if you book half of the hotel. At a 5 star hotel you would expect service but here they won't even pick the reception phone. If you come to the reception you can get some support but any request is a hardship. The breakfast is really good and fresh. There is also animation for children. The pool is really nice and has a bar but no service. You can order food but takes very long and you won't be notified of when it is ready so everything will be cold. The room cleaning is good however the cleaning team is not helpful if you ask them anything. 4 stars at best. Really a pitty for such nice place.

This is a 4* hotel, period. Lower your expectations if you have a booking. The setting is great and the views are quite pleasant, the outside pools are also fancy (for a 4* hotel). Once you go inside the facilities, your expectations start to fade away as you are presented with a 4 star experience.. there isn’t the luxury you were expecting, the bar, the food, the service.. it’s just a 4 star hotel branded and priced as 5*. On the plus side this is a family oriented hotel, like so, there activities for toddlers during the day and the facilities are equipped for toddlers (even the pools). I would recommend this hotel for families who are not on a budget and want a 4* hotel with plenty of entertainment for their toddlers.

Hallo. Can only confirm other Hotel Feedback. This is a 4* but never ever 5* Hotel. There is a lot missing to be close to a real 5* Hotel. Location is very remote. Pretty windy as in Hilly Region about 8-9km away from Sintra. Very large Complex with various Buildings. Pretty empty. Many children, many families it seems. Breakfast not exciting. Positive - seaside 15 min away and Sintra same just opposite site. Our Junior Suite had 2 bath rooms which was positive though. AND we just asked for an Iron to Iron some of our clothes. Not available we were told. You must book full clothes services. Sorry but this is.....poor poor service. Who travels with a suitcase sometimes needs to iron some of the clothes...

Good resort, more for families and conferences. Clean but in need of some infrastructure, decoration and tele communications. Restaurant is ok, food tastes as it was cooked for an army. Close to Sintra center...9 min by car.

+ the hotel is big and modern + gym facilities + big and comfy bed + great breakfast buffet with fresh omelette, mini thin delicious pancakes and fresh juice (there was always a juice of the day) + check-out till 12 o'clock! - we had to buy each a bathing cup for EUR 5 each in order to use a swimming pool. we understand the rule of using them but in a 5 star hotel we expect to have this included - the smell of clorine is present in the lobby what can be improved: > provide water in the gym area > staff members could be more motivated (what is the reason? is it the lack of English language?) LUIS in the breakfast area was very friendly and gave us some nice recommendations about Sintra and where to go for a coffee. > PARKING: there was a big conference going on on the day of our arrival, so no parking slot of us till the people left 24 hours later. There must be another solution! guests, staff and conference participants should use different parking spaces.

Great place to go with children. Unfortunately we went on a weekend so it was fully booked with families with young children. Great to see but made for very noisy eating environment in their restaurants. Hence we ate at an off site restaurant and totally enjoyed the experience.

Club Nep will drive the kids through the day with different activities Lunch and dinner are buffet and kids will love to pick and choose food The bedrooms or apartments are really nice and cozy Bring the kids.

Beautiful location. Nice views of the landscape. Great customer service. Family-friendly service with buffet breakfast. Kids have set activities including fun in the pool, carousel rides, and more. Great indoor pools and nice outdoor pools. The shallow pool is good to have the little one have a splutter around. I love the friendly staff.

A very nice, big hotel with a lot of taste and modern design. The rooms are spacious with balconies and modern bathrooms. However, for us the beds were not comfortable. The are so incredibly big and look cosy and comfy - but they aren’t. Sleeping 4 nights on those gave me huge backache. Hard mattress - but box spring, so for people with spine issues be warned! Other than that a super hotel: outdoor pools in a nature setting with view on Sintra. A big indoor pool with warm water- you will need a swim cap and the cleaning lady will kick you out of the pool 15’ earlier than the reception will tell you. pools close early so you will be able to use then after along day in Sintra. Breakfast has an egg station and a big selection. Be prepared to walk a lot - it is a big place!

Unfortunately, I believe this hotel is not exactly 5 stars, there were a few details that definitely made my experience more stressful than the usual SPA day. I've booked in the beginning of August, and included in my calendar with plenty of other activities to do on my trip to Portugal, to be told 5 days before my visit (September) that they had no more availability for the hour I booked it, there was an error and I needed to change it to arrive earlier. After I mentioned this was definitely not possible, they said they made again a mistake and they were able to do the massage at the time requested first. On our arrival the massage was very good, the reception ladies were very nice etc etc. But the pool area was so so crowded. I ended up not enjoying the pool, the jacuzzi barely worked as well, no pressure at all. I was able to use the sauna and steam room at least but for a "5 star hotel" I was not expecting not only the issue with the time of the booking, but also the pool being so crowded, full of kids. What a shame. For families this pool might be better but not for someone looking into just relaxing.

Great hotel. Very friendly and attentive staff. Extremely welcoming and polite. All areas were always clean and kept to a high standard. All in all, very relaxing and peaceful with a great view of the mountains!

Where do I start? It's definitely not worth the money you pay. We booked this as they had a heated indoor pool. During our stay we were able to use it once but it was freezing. They said they weren't able to heat it?! The gym has much to be desired. The rooms are ok as is the breakfast. Not recommended.

First, the staff is really adorable and available. Thank you for your service. However, the rooms really aren’t worth 5 stars. The shower, the bed, even the lightning was quite disappointing to be honest, it wasn’t modern enough. There was also a lot of flies in the Spa’s showers. The food was also not that tasty for a 5-star hotel. I would really recommend visiting it for families with little children, for they have plenty of facilities to enjoy their time. As a couple, we didn’t really enjoy our weekend, unfortunately.

I wouldn't say it is a 5 star hotel. The rooms are totally basic. In the shower they have a bath gel, shampoo and conditioner all in one bottle, attached to the wall. Which is the same you use to wash your hands... All the other room amenities are basic. The pools outside are nice, although very windy. The pool inside is nice. The sauna was broken it seems.

Super friendly staff. Robson from the front desk is very helpful and sorts out any questions you might have. The rooms are spacious and welcoming. Reasonable offer of pillows and mattress is not too firm nor too soft for my liking. As it is a family-friendly hotel, you will see lots of children running around. That is pretty noticeable in the restaurant and the lobby during the evening. A minus: the spa pool is not your normal serene spa pool, as children are allowed (also in the sauna, jacuzzi or Turkish bath). Location is not ideal, as there is nothing at walkable distance. You will need a car or taxi to move around. Weather at this location is quite unique due to the enclave between hills and the ocean; you will get quite often some chilly fog, wind and clouds.

Beautiful place, a bit out of the way. Wonderful swimming inner, outdoor pools. Carrousel, ideal for children. Enormous hall, restaurant, you feel like peter pan in a place. Clean rooms, no drawers, nice balcony. Very good food and generous buffets. A 5 star hotel I had to carry my own luggage, breakfast paper order outside was ignored. Very nice, warm, stuff.

Not five star anything imo. Looked quite dated for a 5 year old Hotel. Dirty carpets, damaged walls, ect. Great animation for kids.

Tried brunch and is not worth it for the price. 27,5€ there is not variety of food. The scrambled eggs was not good, and the bacon was hard to bite. The hotel area is nice.

Really nice hotel, great swimming pool, sauna, hammam and tennis. Restaurant is ok but if you have time, you have better restaurants nearby (and cheaper). Staff is friendly. And last but not least they have activities for kids.

Nice hotel but definitely not 5 stars. Maintenance is lacking as 1 of our rooms had smelly carpet, other had broken shower door and third had broken cupboard doors.

Just ok. Got in for a quick night. Seems a little out of the way. Limited food service. Very strict hours for dining. Thought it would be closer to sintra area. Stunning pool area. A lot of kids. Beds not comfy at all.

The location is in the middle of no where!! But it is in Sintra and it is beautiful anywhere in Sintra. What more can you expect from a 5 star hotel? Great service, attentive, lots of activities, free spa, even kids service. You even have a short running trail with various exercise machines ever 80 or so meters. Overall a good experience. And expensive, not sure I would be able to afford it if I had to py for it.

We reserved on short notice and when we arrived a couple of days later, we were so pleasantly surprised. Set in a beautiful peaceful countryside surroundings this new hotel was wonderful. Friendly front desk personnel, attentive bellhop, beautiful large, quiet rooms with balconies, delightful meal, lovely included breakfast, 3 swimming pools to choose, and reasonable room rental rate. Highly recommend !
