This is a great new park for the area. A ton of trails going through various pond and marsh environments. Towards the back is "Mt. Rittman" as the locals call it, a decently small hill with a decent view from the top. There are benches everywhere in this park, a few picnic areas and port a potty bathroom facilities. This is a great park for bird watching and animals in general. On my first visit there I saw: swans, geese, ducks, heron, various song birds, fish, deer, and turtles. I also heard bullfrogs and woodpeckers but I didn't see them. I will go back here for sure!

This nature preserve is a great place to hike and take in nature. I like that there are many little ponds and paths, and a hill to climb, with a pavilion and benches on hand.

This is the second time I've visited and I've been pleasantly surprised both times due to the wonderful birdwatching and critters out-and-about. Recommend a visit if you're in the area.

Just completed 3 mi walk at this park, which is 1.5 mi for one loop around with many short cuts for shorter options. Well maintained and lots of benches and scenic overlook platforms. Porta potty at halfway point, thoughtful! Will come back again.

I like how Ohio has upped their access to trails for easy strolling. All gravel, great if you have an ambulatory snag or rehabbing an injury. Walk on! There is also a reward program involving receiving a hiking stick in the end with proof of completion. Love hiking reward programs. Let's go after Arizona and their National Monument hiking reward program.

Such a beautiful place!! There were blackberries growing all over the quarry, and the wildflowers were so abundantly beautiful!!! Loved the walk. It was peaceful and quiet.

Nice trails to walk and there was a pavillion near the parking lot where we could eat lunch

I like what Rittman did with this space, I had no idea how big this area was until I saw the trail map. Lots of walking paths and a kayak launch site at the largest of the ponds.

👍 It was a nice ride with my bike. Wish it was longer though. Plenty of benches if you need to stop for a break. I enjoyed it and will use it again for short trips.
