Watched my grandkids ride the train. Remembering back when I played softball there and where we took our kids for a cheap day ride the train which is free and then have a picnic in the park of course had that tuna or PBJ waiting for us! Had a great time and go back as often as we can!

This is a very beautiful park, as you can tell they have two baseball diamonds and miniature trains that run through this park,(but not since Covid) this is a beautiful park with walking trails, and beautiful gazebos so you can have a picnic with your family, or just a nice time with your girlfriend or boyfriend. I did not see any homeless people there but that does not mean they will not be there tomorrow. It is a very nice CLEAN Park and a very nice place to take a walk.ITS A VERY NICE PLACE TO TAKE A WALK

my first time Being here, my son's teacher. Send a flyer. We took a ride on the train. My son just so excited. We definitely plan to come back. They are on open 2 Sundays out of the month the train, not the park.

I enjoy the park the most on the weekends because there is a Train club that meets here, and on Saturdays and Sundays they pull out their engines and will you around the whole park. Lots of fun for both young and old alike.

Hunter Park is a huge park and easy to navigate. There is more than one bathroom conviently located handicapped accessible. The parking lot is appropriately sized and in good view of the park. there are multiple baseball fields and a track around the park for walking. There's also a small train that runs on holidays and for special occasions. Very clean. Five stars

Loved the train rides and all the people who work together to provide the train rides for our community at no cost.

This is one of the Parks and Recreation gems here in Riverside, it is really an amazing place for some R & R with family, taking kids to the playground, play sports, walking, running, skating and any wholesome fun but what I love the most here is the little choochoo train rides and looking at the happy kids faces full with wonder...

It seems like a dog park. Smells like one too. Grass isn't short enough for soccer games. But other than that it's a nice place to take your kids if you don't mind the poop and smell every now and then....

Visit this park four times a week. Only place in Riverside where there is live streamers for kids in 2nd and 4th Sundays of every month from 10am-3pm. There are lots of picnic tables, restrooms, children's play area, basket ball and baseball court. Ample parking and park is clean and well maintained. Well lit and feels safe even after dark. There are people around until 11:00pm at night.

Love walking at this park. The only issue is the lights get turned off too early around 7:00 ish while many people are still walking around the park. Would be great if lights could be on at least until 8:30 since there are many people walking the park at night and it would be safer.

Its nice bur its weird. A good park for parents to take a child or for a well manicured person to lightly jog. Dog walkers, that kinda thing. They have a trail, I think its concrete. Pretty spacious. I never see anything shady at this park. This park is really more of a family w/ kids area. Actually, on the other side with the basketball hoops it has some benches under the trees that were pretty nice and very relaxing. Good for thinking and reflecting.

I really enjoy going to this park with our kids. They have two areas for them to play, one is for toddlers 2-5 and the other one is for older children. They also have a train that takes you on rides around the park. They ask for donations but the ride is free.

Amazing walk. Gorgeous sunrise. Nice, area that smelled like Cookies and cream. Tbh I was lost, but a local resident was kind enough to be generous with his time, to explain his directions to me and made sure I understood. The combination of the peaceful vibe, beautiful view and the young man's hospitality, left this experience brief but unforgettable, no doubt, Couldn't have asked for a better way to start the day off. Cute hobby park with model train circling the park. If you are light on housing it seems to be a good spot to park for the night as long as you don't bring no problems with you.

Nice park. Usually really clean. Went to a Nerf war event. Only down side was the restroom being closed on the north side of the park. We had to use the one way on the south end of the park. Restrooms are pretty dirty. Try to hold it if you can.

It's a relaxing park where I can have plenty of fun; I can ride horses, go fish, play ball, fly kites or just sit under a nice shade tree listening music looking at a beutiful sunset. What I like also about this picnic area is the bathrooms, they are big and so clean. This place is amazing to spend time with family and friends. Also to celebrate a wedding anniversary with a beautiful lake as a background

A very active park when an event such as a softball game, a soccer ball tournament, a birthday gathering, or the business from across the street having a employee pot luck party. There is always something to entertain the open minded. Sometimes there are a few less fortunate individuals who come around and collect aluminum cans and plastic bottles that the party goers left behind. In the early morning hours you will see all the dedicated joggers and early bird dog walkers. On certain Sundays beginning approximately 9 AM, you can ride one of their three locomotives for a quick tour around the parks premises. Every Saturday, in the parking area about 9 AM you can indulge in a warm home cooked breakfast with hot coffee, free for everyone. Water will also be available.

It's an awesome park. I attended the Glorious Church Riverside service there, for the first time. Service is held every Sunday , generally, at 12p and I would go every Sunday, if I did not work.

Decently-large park. Has walking trails where you can sometimes observe soccer matches or baseball practice (there's a baseball field) taking place on busier days. Also has a basketball court, usable restrooms, and a place to host outdoor parties.

This is a great park, and even better when the trains are running! Our 2 year old had a good time visiting with family, playing on the playground, and he even calmed down enough to ride the trains twice. This place is huge and really fun to visit!

Very nice park . Only problem was the main bathrooms were not open and the other bathrooms were filthy. We had to go find a store to go to bathroom
