Horrible experience, took my son in for a broken arm and there is a difference with doing your job and investigating abuse(which she didnā€™t do) barely examined my son or ask him personally what happened. Just took X-Rays and came in to tell me my story is suspicious and sheā€™s going to call the ER to tell them she has suspicions of abuse in front of my son who is in therapy from witnessing abuse towards me from my ex husband (my sons dad) who we are away from and I have an amazing man who took on me and two kids who arenā€™t his and will do anything for. She Didnā€™t care to do any exams and questioned me on a pin sized mark on his arm that you could barely see rather than his serious injury. She didnā€™t ask him personally, any details. Just assumed from the first second my son was abused. I would die for my children and was already heart broken he broke his arm. No one should be a doctor who canā€™t separate each case and ask all questions professionally with zero judgement and Attitude towards a worried mother. I would give this place zero stars if possible. I was also seen here for my own problems previously and I didnā€™t want to take my son based on past experiences. I havenā€™t met a single nurse or doctor here who really cared about their patients and wasnā€™t extremely rude. The front desk ladies are extremely nice and they deserve that credit. Everyone else is unprofessional and to say I lied in front of my child is disgusting. We then left and went straight to the ER. They had zero concerns of abuse and they treated my son amazing. They questioned me, as they had every right too and told me they arenā€™t concerned of abuse whatsoever. I have personally done years of nursing. If you cannot handle child cases professionally, youā€™re in the wrong field of workā€¦ this instacare made me feel so horrible, the ER understood things happened and actually gave my son the care he needed. Oh, when I called back to ask for the doctor who treated my son, they said they couldnā€™t figure that out, until I kept questioning her, I finally got the doctors full name. You shouldnā€™t be running a clinic if you donā€™t know who cares for each patient. SPEECHLESS!šŸ˜¤

The front desk and nurses were great! But when we actually were seen by the female doctor she was talking so fast and was thinking we were exaggerating the pain in my wife's shoulder. It had been there for over two weeks of constant pain. We have done what was needed that we could do with medicine and icing and heat, but it hasn't worked the pain is still there. The female doctor came in and just blew us off pretty much and said for my wife to go and get acupuncture or a massage to get the tightness out of the shoulder. It seemed like she was just rushing to get us in and out instead of trying to help and be a doctor. She also said to just keep taking the normal medicine. I have never seen a terrible doctor like this before that was just treating us like idiots. I also don't leave reviews. This felt like it needed to be said.

Doctor arrived and told me they would perform a Covid test. Waited over an hour before another doctor arrived, confused why I was still there, and told me to leave. I told them I was waiting for a test, then a third doctor finally gave it to me. An hour later I got the results that confirmed I was positive. Had the first doctor not taken an hour, I could have gotten my results quicker and not potentially risked exposing my entire family. Iā€™m just thankful I was not in severe pain at the time. Do better.

I brought my wife in tonight because she was experiencing severe lower back pain. The doctor spent 10 minutes suggesting that she ā€œavoid getting stiffā€, ā€œstand up moreā€, and ā€œdonā€™t lift things heavier than 5lbsā€. And offered to give us a flier that discusses lower back pain. When I asked her to prescribe medicine she immediately assumed I was asking for narcotics. She then proceeded to tell us she could prescribe us medicine that ā€œwould not solve the problemā€. She was incapable of doing anything that would help us in the moment and could not, in any way, make the pain stop. She proceeded to have my wife stand and perform movements that she was clearly incapable of performing without extreme pain. The point of which was so that she could have something to write in her patient diagnosis. A diagnosis that would simply confirm what we had already told her; that sheā€™s experiencing severe lower back pain. The entire exercise was completely pointless since she already confirmed that she couldnā€™t do anything to fix the problem. Iā€™ve never been more unimpressed with a doctor in my life. I canā€™t help but wonder what she learned; if anything, throughout her medical studies. I guess this is one of those rare times when WebMD is on par with a paid ā€œprofessionalā€. At least WebMD has the courtesy to not bill my insurance for the information it provides. Edit: I forgot to mention that she literally said, ā€œit will go away eventually.ā€ Gee, thanks.

I was really sick, I had double pneumonia. The doctor was fantastic and helped me feel better. The nurse that drew my blood and other things was absolutely amazing. The X-ray lady was so nice as well. They are amazing caring people over there.

Took my 13 yo daughter here 30 minutes before closing after she crashed on her bike and had some moderate abrasions on her hands and abdomen. There were two others ahead of us. Intake staff was courteous and efficient. Took us 10 minutes to be called back and another 40 sitting in a room waiting for doctor. Nurses were okay. One talked too much about everything she was doing to the wounds which made my anxious child extra anxious. I wish her bedside manner was more work and less disclosure. Doctor was kind and concerned. Overall we were satisfied and would return if needed.

Absolutely amazing, a piano šŸŽ¹ available that I played while waiting for diagnosis. Kind, wonderful staff - lessened the stress I was under. Highly recommended šŸ‘Œ.

We came in late, about an hour before close. There were many who were coming in since this is one of the last clinics open in the area at that time. The wait time was marked as 30-45 minutes but we were seen exponentially quicker. We were seen and taken care of within 20 minutes. The room was clean and had just been disinfected as we could still smell the bleach wipes. The provider was nice and straight to the point. Within an hour we had been seen, prescriptions picked up, and on our way back home.

This would be a 5 Star review except they need some better more quantifiable method of servicing the patients who make the effort to show up early to be served first. Time after time we arrive prior to opening so that we can get in early and because the line forms when the curtain is opened on the ā€œhonorā€ system, people who are rude and selfish jump up and in the front of the check in line. This is not a place that does any triage and if you are trying to be polite and space yourself out when you arrive early you are subject to the more recently arrived selfish individuals. Itā€™d be nice if there was a sign in sheet or ticket distribution system. I recognize this is not the fault of Instacare but to eliminate possible issues and disagreements it would be easy to institute a more time oriented check in. On a pleasant note Instacare has consistently given our family quality care for more than 15 years. They are professionals through and through. If you read this far you may be the ignorant lady with the initial K who should have seen when you arrived the 10 other patients including several that were clearly older and more sickly then her and yet because of her speed, arrogance, and selfishness managed to be the second seen. I hope these comments encourage change in a positive way somehow, some way.

The Dr. was personable and showed genuine concern for my ailment. The nurses were excellent. The reason for the 2 stars is that after I met with the dr. He order a strep test. I was told someone would be right in. After 20 minutes l felt forgotten about and I had to leave my room to search for a nurse. Next, the strep test came back negative. However, a couple hours later I had several pockets of white junk at the back of my throat, causing me to go to a different doctor for a strep test which came back positive. A swing and miss at the Insta Care.

Iā€™ve been feeling extremely sick for the past few days, and basically my entire family has tested positive for influenza a. I went in today to get tested, and was basically told by the doctor I probably wouldnā€™t be able to afford a test since itā€™s in conjunction with a Covid and RSV test. That it would be too expensive for me. So they werenā€™t going to test me. I also heard a nurse say that they were low on the test. Just gave me some pills and sent me on my way.

My Nurse, Ben, was a delight and took such good care of me! I was treated quickly and they made me feel so comfortable with warm blankets and ice chips. I might as well have been in the ER.

Turned away because Iā€™m self pay at the moment due to starting new job and insurance hasnā€™t started. Was told I had to pay half of the bill up front or call someone who could got told sorry we canā€™t see you then. Said to go to the ER. Told receptionist where they are going to bill me more money and she shrugged her shoulders. Husband told her so if anything happens to my wife because you turned her away you will take care of it then? The lady just started at us and we walked away. Itā€™s no wonder why they took care out of healthcare on their company name because they are just money hungry and donā€™t care about their patients or those in need. Zero stars if possible.

The receptionist was sweet and efficient. The nurses and PA were kind and listened. The pa was thorough and listened to me as well as explained why she was thinking and why. I appreciate the care I received here and would not hesitate to come back for anything.

Amazing experience! Would recommend to everyone! All staff was exceptional from the check in staff to the doctors and everyone in between. Nurses and chest x-ray were great. I felt heard.

I feel very comfortable coming to this instacare. The check-in waiting area is clean and inviting. Plenty of seating. The receptionist are patient and kind. The lab techs are informative and clear, and the doctors answer all my questions and I dont feel rushed. This particular visit, the doctor explained at great length, about pros and cons for antibiotics. I got a great education from her, which I greatly appreciated, especially because it was getting close to closing time. She still didn't rush things! I was treated well. Thank you. ā¤

I waited 2 1/2 hours to be taken back to see a doctor. Once I was back there everything went smoothly. The people working the front desk were very nice as was the doctor.

They were slammed on a Monday and helped me with my sore throat/pharyngitis. I just thought they were super helpful and kind. There was no way I wanted to work feeling like that. And got me a doctors note to take off work. And the Lidocaine I got is the only thing that made it feel better.

We LOVED Southridge InstaCare, especially the head nurse. She is so compassionate and positive! Dr. Smith was awesome too. I really felt like I started making some headway on my health situation with these wonderful people.

Everything was fine at first until I was left waiting in the room for the X-ray tech so long the lights went out and I was sitting in the dark. I heard the tech come but he was taking a patient that checked in 3 people AFTER me and I then told a person I was upset and asked what was going on. He said he would check but still no one came so I got dressed and left. I went back later to have the head person call me who I was told was Craig but hey NO CALL YET. Not what I call a 5 star treatment!!!!!

I came to the center tester feeling so sick! Front seat worker was so kinds and made everything so easy I lost my voice so she asked yes or no questions so it was easy for me to answer. Then the nurse took me back and she was just as kind. The dr checked me out and just made me feel better. As a mom we sometime donā€™t get the validation we need when we are sick. It was nice to hear someone say ā€œyes you got raw dealā€ they told me what pharmacy to use so I could get it on a late Sunday night! Best experience I have had

My experience at the InstaCare portion of the hospital was not positive. I was disappointed with the bedside manner of the Doctor Who worked with me and told me I shouldā€™ve known better and gone straight to the emergency room Upon just walking in the room and seeing me in so much pain (this was After a couple hours of waiting)- he didnā€™t even check me. His words were- it is your responsibility to know which one is the right fit. I was just lucky to get to the hospital with what was happening. I had told the intake person exactly how I felt and what was going on and my family said it was very apparent to anybody there of the pain I was in. I wish the intake or nurses wouldā€™ve told me in the waiting room that they thought I shouldā€™ve gone to the emergency room. Or at least not treated me so condescending when that wasnā€™t communicated. Someone in the pain I was feeling with an appendicitis (who drove myself to the hospital) was doing my best and did not need an instacare doctor to treat them that way. Itā€™s a good thing it didnā€™t burst while I was waiting. But the pain was horrific. The instacare staff was not prioritizing taking care of a patient. In contrast, At the Riverton hospital emergency room, I had a very positive experience. Their priority was to take care of me. And the ER nurses I had who worked with me were fantastic and so personable. The ER doctor did a great job at hearing me, taking care of me and getting me in for an emergency surgery/ although very busy naturally because of the emergency room

Having had a horrible experience at a different IHC Instacare, I am always apprehensive to return but I actually had a really positive experience at this Instacare. I was in and out in well under an hour and the provider I saw was efficient, professional and compassionate. I really appreciate that they are open later (soon to be open until 9) and are conveniently located.

Honestly I rarely go to instacare or the doctor but when I do itā€™s important. Had the best experience in a very long time by having the physician June Steinvorth accurately provide me with a set of medications for my sinuses & sheā€™s been spot on every stepā€¦. Also the staff was very friendly & everyone was more than professional.

  • 1/5 Shelby W. 1 year ago on Google
I visited on 8/31/22 because I sustained injuries in a car accident. The nurses were kind. However the doctor that was in, June Steinvorth, was AWFUL. She was impatient, hostile, belittling, just all around a terrible person to interact with. The entire time it felt like she was rushing me through the process. She also yelled at me, and was unhelpful when I need clarification about my X-Rays. The X-Ray specialists hadnā€™t even looked at them yet, she just wanted to rush me out as quick as possible, without a professional looking at them to see if anything was wrong with my neck and/or back. If you go here, I would strongly suggest requesting someone else to see you. June is clearly in the wrong field of work if that is how she treats patients.

I went in for what I thought was a sinus infection, but now I found out was COVID. The doctor didnā€™t even bother suggesting I should get tested. I finally got myself tested after I lost my sense of taste 3 days later. Not only was the doctor incompetent, but she was rude and generally unpleasant. To top it all off, she gave vague instructions about my prescription, so I had to figure that part out on my own. U of U health was so much better, but now theyā€™re out of network for me.

  • 5/5 John H. 1 year ago on Google
Was seen in a reasonable amount of time, considering where several people ahead of me. The provider who saw me was thorough, respectful and knowledgeable . She followed up as soon as possible; my medication dose depended on lab results which she phoned to me personally as soon as they were available. Overall excellent service!!!

I went today for my 3 years old son's eye infection.Very nice staff, friendly clerk and nurse. Got an excellent service by Dr. Nelson, she is up to date on kids stuff. Surprised by their fast service, I went in and out in less than 20 minutes.

If I could give ZERO stars, I would. I sliced my finger open to the point of needing stitches. I called the clinic and was told, no problem, as long as youā€™re here by 9, we will for sure see you. So I rush down there, got there at 8:50 pm and was told I couldnā€™t be seen and to drive across the valley to Cottonwood. When I pointed out I was just told less than 10 min ago that if I made it there by 9 I would be seen, she acknowledged telling me that, apologized and said ā€œweā€™ll Cottonwood closes at 11.ā€ I feel like if you tell a patient they will be seen so long as they are there by a certain time, you are obligated to your word, period. Otherwise, donā€™t tell anyone that they will have no problem being seen so long as theyā€™re there by 9.
