I always read comments before I book a place to stay over. From them picking me up at the airport till the last day I had no problems at all. The front desk were friendly and helped me with a hairdryer and helped me with directions to various places. The laundromat on the premises was very helpful and you get washing powder at the front desk. Nothing was to much for them. More than enough parking for your car. I could walk to the convenient store about 300 m from the motel. Also a good pizza spot. My room was separate from the lounge and the unit was big enough for 3-4 people. I stayed for 6 nights and can say I had a pleasant stay.

No complaints until I got up in the morning and a cockroach crawled across the bed. Fluid check-in with effective directions to room which was spacious and tidy, comfortable beds, convenient airport shuttle and 24hr reception

I have stayed at Great Eastern Motor lodge since 1982. Good parking, very clean room's, it is on the main road into Perth, staff are excellent and very healpfull, the local shops are within 100 meters *AND* they do delevery's to your room. The pricing for your room is consistence with other hotels in the area. Enjoy your stay.

Room was booked online and paid for at 7.30am however when we arrived at 10pm after a flight from Brisbane there was no room booked. The staff that were on were helpful and eventually found us a room that another guest didn't want. An hour later we finally got into the room. However the bathroom had a pool of water near the toilet and the toilet seat was very loose. When we advised the staff in the morning they were not very interested.

We had the spa suite and it had everything we needed. The room was very clean and the spa was huge and having a separate shower was a bonus. The bed was super comfy and the cooking facilities were great. We have decided this is our new go to place when we come down to Perth.

Absolutely the worst place I’ve ever stayed, overpriced for the quality of the rooms… staff are rude, judgemental and not helpful at all. Would rather sleep in my car. Their food in the vending machines are out of date and sometimes just took your money and never gave me what I wanted. My kids found a blade on the carpet and after talking to reception they just said “oh I’m sorry”

First time booking in here and would be the last time! Would not recommend. Not happy with the Receptionist! Reception staff in the afternoon quite RUDE did not made me feel welcome at all. Made me spell my surname several times when I was already handing my I.D to make it easier for her. Not a very hospitable and friendly place to stay at. Ruined my mood straight away upon checking in! Never coming back.

The 2 bedroom apartment was facing the carpark which is fully lit making the bedrooms very light at night even with curtains drawn , same in the morning with early sunrise. It's very noisy with car alarms and emergency vehicle sirens during the night . I was unable to have a shower on the last morning due to poor drainage. The unit was fairly clean apart from grease on the range hood. The staff are very friendly. We had an additional child that had been paid for no additional fold up bed was provided we had to request an extra pillow and blanket.

I recently stayed at the Great Eastern Motor Lodge and unfortunately, my experience was not a good one. I found the reception service to be lacking. The staff were unhelpful and unresponsive to my requests. In addition, the manager seemed to be more interested in getting money from me than in providing quality service. I was charged an additional $25 during check out as a penalty for my daughter's fingerprints on the sliding door and a small amount of kinetic sand on the balcony, which could have easily been vacuumed up. While they initially wanted to charge me $50, they only reduced it to $25 after I complained. The housekeeping service was disappointing. During our 14-day stay, our room was only vacuumed 2-3 times and the bed was not made every day, sometimes only every second or third day. Overall, I was extremely disappointed with the level of service at the Great Eastern Motor Lodge and would not recommend it to others.

Had a family weekend away. First time staying here. Room was nice an big, everything you need. Reception open late which is great for families. Carpark is very tight, easy access onto main road and close to shopping centres and just up the road from the Burswood. And close to the city. Can have everyday cleaning service or out your sign up for do not disturb. Outdoor pool.

I was able to check in late and someone was at the front desk which was good. They explained everything in detail. The room was very old. It was tidy but I wouldn’t say it was clean. The bed was like a board. Every time the room next door used the bathroom there was a high pitched squeal from the exhaust fan. Both the screen door to the balcony and the front door were not sealed properly and would knock during the night. With these two noises I didn’t get a good night sleep. There was a ruckus each night outside with people yelling and slamming doors. I did not feel safe. The pool looked clean. Car parking was secure under cover. I ordered from the sister hotel, Flag inn, just down the road. The food was very, very basic and looked like it may have been prepared at least the day before. The cream on the dessert was off. Room service emptied my bins and replaced towels but did not vacuum or pull up my bed. No milk was ever replaced. No power point in the bathroom. Power points oddly placed near the floor in the main area. Air conditioning didn’t work properly. I opened the balcony door most times but the highway was loud and it was quite hot. The milk I was given upon arrival was not uht, which was nice. I won’t go there again.

Easy checkin and Checkout. I like the bed and pillows. I don't like the smell of suede sofa. My room was near the highway so you can hear the sounds of the car passing. It's not a double glaze window not a sound proof.

Stayed here in a two bedroom. The hotel is getting old but that's reflected in the price. The room was clean. Staff were great and the location is perfect for the airport, footy or casino.

Go here - friendly service, do heaps for you. Rooms good - large hotel near public transport. Not in CBD but close by. Cheaper prices at good location near airport and city. Pool. Spa rooms as well. These people and staff top notch. Never issues with clean rooms and any issues they fix immediately. Food place next door and large deli. Bed fine. Welcome stay to look at in Perth. Welcome longer stay people with laundry.

Convenient to the cbd and airport. Airport shuttle bus service commencing at 0400.Staff are helpful and friendly. Nearby restaurants and take away, public transport nearby rooms are clean and well presented.highly recommend.

Nice affordable rooms, clean and provide the desired services required when staying in a Motel. If you want value and are not looking for wine on a beer budget, then the Great Eastern is worth a visit.

Due for a renovation, the guests aren't neighbourhood friendly. The rooms are basic but clean. The air-conditioning turned onto heat midway through the night. Could only hear 1 door slam early in the night, but pretty sound proof. Tiny shower but good pressure and good temperature. Easy access to the cbd. Parking is not female friendly

Got a 2 bedroom place with kitchen to be self sufficient with the family. 1 small ac in the lounge did nothing to the bedrooms on a 30 degree day, oven had no racks in it or trays to cook on, food baked into the frypan and not even a knife to cut up a vegetable, place was tidy but not 'clean', good sized unit though, we stayed a few years ago and it has gone downhill since. Would not recommend unless you bring your own kitchen!

It was okay. Lots of sirens, wet slippery verandas, clean tidy rooms. Some undesirable guests smoking swearing and fighting. Staff were polite and helpful,vending machines were fantastic, you could get literally everything you need including coffee. Would probably stay again as rates were reasonable.

Came to stay for our anniversary worst decision no internet. Spa was disgusting and full of brown muck inside of the jets in the spa filters was gross and unsanitary, needs a deep clean and needs a step. I fell over and hurt my self badly. Do not recommend room number 150. I want my money back. False advertising.

The lift was out of service and our room was on the fourth floor....not so good for people in their 70's. It would have been good to have been given the option to keep our booking or go elsewhere.....the lifts were out for a few days beforehand so time enough to have notified people with bookings.....

A good sized room, bed was comfortable, no biscuits supplied with a cuppa, pretty good location 30 minute walk to Optus stadium. Just don't use the vending machines cost me $9.50c for 1 icecream.

Rooms are clean but dated needs to be refurbished. Staff are friendly, reception is accommodating, provides an airport shuttle on the hour every hour from 4am. It's close to a small band of shops, but without a car public transport feels slow. Uber or taxis are somewhat expensive as to the location of the motel.

The room cleaning is WAY above average for this price! They cleaned my room and made my bed everyday! Plenty of laundry facilities, good easy access driveway for uber pickups/drop offs, friendly staff, working wifi with good signal, decent kitchen facilities in the large rooms, late night reception, no stupid “key bond”. Well done!

this is by far the worst hotel if i have ever booked. the receiptionist tried to charge us for the room we didn't even book just because their first name was similar to ours. the room floor was wet and slippery something that i have never seen in any hotel in my entire life. absolutely do not recommend to anyone!

I loved my stay mostly due to the spacious rooms and I really enjoyed my balcony I was lucky I got great weather, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I’m definitely going back for a short stay

Me and my famiky stayed there for 1 night. Quiet and clean room. They hve a nice pool with a separate kiddie pool. all the Staff were friendly, greeted you when you pass by. with a nice and big parking space. We enjoyed it. Good for an overnight stay.

Room was clean and service was great, the cleaning supervisor is a lot to be desired and how she addresses her staff .. I could imagine staff morale is low and she has or will have a high staff turnover .. You need to listen to your staff not strip them down and allow them to have a voice ..

Easy and friendly check in. Heaps of parking at the rear,even for trailers and large vechiles. My room in the atrium block was a little noisy from people chatting on the landing. Beautiful pools but could do with shde sails.Clean room and excellent delivered breakfast. Restaurant not on site, 5min walk. BWS and takeaways handy.

I just stayed one night but I can tell you it was awesome. Just needed some space to myself and it was the perfect place to do that. Fully equipped too so had everything I need 110% worth it

Motel was perfectly situated for my Xmas stay. I used my new e-scooter along the available cycle paths directly across the road & along the Swan River. The prices were very good. The room was spacious & the pool was very clean. The staff were amazing. I would definitely recommend this motel for travellers on a budget.

My sister and I have been staying here for a week. I've never stayed anywhere where the staff have been so responsive, courteous, helpful and kind. We have needed to have several maintenance issues attended to - for instance, my sister, who is disabled, needed the bathroom door modified to make it easier for her to open, and staff attended to it almost Immediately. Cleaning staff have been attentive to our every need, and front office always helpful despite being pretty busy. Recommended.

Its been a while since I stayed here, and I have to say it was a good experience. The room was bigger than newer motels, very tidy and quite upto date. For the volume of traffic, its excellent value for money. Lots of good eating options nearby.

Chosen to be close to the airport and a relative. The room was very large and had a kitchenette with stove and microwave. They also had a free airport shuttle bus service which operates hourly from 4am to 10pm, very handy. The only thing that was very annoying was waking up to the sound of people talking and playing music on their phones on two occassions leading up to midnight - the room was soundproof, but the entrance door was not, and we could clearly hear every spoken word of patrons outside. Some food places nearby, and you can walk to the casino as well.

Our room was nice and big, had everything we needed, including cooking facilities, was comfortable and surprisingly quiet! Will definitely return.
