I've been here several times for different services and early on my experiences were great. My last two visits (March and April) have me seriously reconsidering visiting again. The massage I had in March was one of the strangest experiences I've had. The masseuse berated me on working out too much and having so many knots in my upper back. He talked for 30min of my 50min massage about how women shouldn't be lifting heavy weights and how I am probably deficient in several vitamins. To be fair to him his technique was good. He worked out my knots and I'm very grateful for that. But I did not appreciate his tone. The massage I had yesterday wasn't great. The gentleman was very abrupt every time he touched me, he was rough and the movements and transitions were jerky and jarring. He was wearing headphones and I could hear his music, which is distracting when you're trying to relax. He pulled off my toe ring and it went flying but he couldn't hear me because of his music. I found it once he was finished and left the room. I've had 2 facials here and a massage with another person and they were amazing. Overall I think they have potential but I don't want to keep having these bad experience to get back to a good one.

Place was nicely decorated and lighting was nice and low. Massages were ok, but didn't have much technique. My wife and I thought the therapists were kinda new and would request someone different if we go back. Prices were great! Everyone was very pleasant. I'd try it again!

UPDATE: I spoke with the owner, Steve, who is so kind, gracious, and understanding. I appreciate his service and communication. Hello, I don’t know who’s in charge of this particular business, but I’m writing because I am very frustrated. I missed my appointment today due to a time error on my schedule and the lady that answers the phone today was extremely rude. When I decided to cancel instead of making an evening appointment, she hung up in my face. I called back and she refused to tell me who her boss was for that setting. I am extremely disappointed and I will be putting word out in social media about what transpired today. I will also try my hardest to find out who this lady’s boss is to share my side at least. I don’t think customer service should be like this at all. I was never rude, I didn’t have a nasty tone or anything of the sort. All I did was ask questions. I don’t think I deserved the disrespect I felt early this morning. I was looking forward to this massage. I’ve been very overwhelmed and upset and needed a massage to help calm my body. Now I’m more upset. This shouldn’t have happened.

Claudia is the absolute best! She’s really good at what she does and takes her time to target the muscles. You can tell she really cares about her clients and she’s very skilled. Definitely coming back and requesting Claudia!

Top 3 favorite massages EVER! Top notch staff and facility! Dora was amazing!!!! Love all the special extras and the hot stones were fantastic! Best stretching I've ever had, especially around my neck area! So nice to get a massage from someone who really knows how to read your body! Was 5 stars handsdown!!!! Steve, the owner went above and beyond to make sure our experience was perfect! Best business owner I've ever encountered!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to anyone!

Vera is the absolute best massage therapist I've ever been to and I've had quite a few. She is very pleasant and really knows her stuff. I feel so much better after getting a deep tissue massage from her. Also, the peppermint scalp massage she does is pure heaven. As long as she works at this spa, I will keep going back!

I went there a few times and Mason is the best, however, I got an email for the March specials for 45 relaxation massage. When I called To make an appointment I was told that that was a wrong email that went out and I was not the only one that had called regarding the promotion and the price was 20. More if I wanted to book appointment. I told them that they sent me the email and they would not honor it. I’m not even sure that that’s legal at all. They told me that there was another email sent out which was correct but on that email they never stated that the previous email was not correct or was sent in error. Never apologized either. Well I guess they lost a couple of clients! I feel they should have honored the email since it came from them. They didn’t even care.

The front desk staff left a lot to be desired. the massage was so hard it left bruises. I had to tell him to stop rubbing my shin bones and I left feeling very painful and not at all relaxed. The massage felt VERY inexperienced. A therapeutic massage can and should still be relaxing. This was anything but relaxing. He never told me his name so I don't know who it was. I will never go back and I do not recommend this place to anyone.

Had an appointment scheduled. Called to confirm but was put on hold for almost 10 minutes. When the receptionist returned, without an apology for the hold, she just moved on with "how can I help you" poor customer service I asked "no apology for the wait" she totally ignored me and asked how can she help me!! Just rude.. I am not s first time customer and expected a more courteous response.

I genuinely love this place and their staff! I have had great massages by professionally trained therapists such as Brian, James, and Bruce. It’s always a great experience to unwind and relax.

Oh my paid for a 90 minute hot stone massage and got 60 minutes. Maybe 10 minutes the hot stones were used. Hot towels were put on and left until they were ice cold. Spent most of the time rubbing my arms which did nothing. She hardly understood English so I couldn't tell her what was wrong. I've been to Essential Massage before on the $47.00 Tuesday special and loved it. Thought I would give the hot stones a go. Don't waste your time or money. Stick with the Tuesday special. '

Love coming here! Have been coming to see miss Sheila for eyebrow threading for years, she’s the best eye brow profesional in the world!!!! In over 8 years have never found anyone as good as her. She truly cared about her work. My mom and grandma also love getting facials with her. She’s the best at it all. This location is also really cute and always clean! They did a great job at creating a relaxing space for all your self care needs!:)

I wasn’t going to leave a negative review until I called to give feedback on my experience and dealt with less than sub par customer service from the front desk. I booked an 80 minute ‘deep tissue’ massage and while the woman who did my massage was extremely friendly it was just not a deep tissue massage whatsoever. It felt like my Masseuse was doing everything besides deep tissue using pretty much only tools (a cupping tool, scraping tool, etc). I think she meant well but it just seemed like she had never given a deep tissue massage before. I left feeling like I needed a massage…. Before I left I was asked how was everything and I said “good” because there were people in the lobby and the doors were open to the back and I didn’t want to humiliate the masseuse in front customers and staff so I waited until I left to call. (I also didn’t tell the masseuse when she asked because there was such a large language barrier we could barely understand each other with 1 or 2 words and I had no idea how to communicate what could be done differently) I was explaining to the woman who answered that I am NOT someone who likes to leave a negative review I would rather just call someone and she cut me off to put blame on me saying “did you tell the lady at the front desk you didn’t like it you should have said something” then followed up with “I’ll let Steve know”. No apology, no please come back and see us, nothing except “you should have said something”. I’m just baffled at the lack of customer service when I called an establishment to let them know I am super unhappy with the service I received. I wasn’t expecting anything free, no refunds I just wanted to give my feedback and no one seemed the care because I didn’t say anything before I left. Really disappointing I won’t be going back.

First time here and I must say, it was one of the best experiences I've had. Off the top, I was greeted when I came in, didn't wait long to be called back, very professional, great atmosphere, very relaxing. Sheray (I hope I spelled that right) was absolutely incredible. She asked me all the right questions to determine the best possible outcome and I must tell you, she is awesome. Those hands are magical. I think I caught myself snoring a couple times. I highly recommend her and the establishment.

Cannot say enough good things about Claudia, highly recommend her. She has skills and fixes exactly the areas that cause problems.
