Great location, right across from The TAMPA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT & TAMPA INTERNATIONAL MALL. Rooms are nice, clean and spacious. Very modern in style with contemporary furniture. Any stay in Hotel includes a free breakfast bar, the biggest that I have experienced so far, plenty of food to choose from. What I love the most is the hospitality that has been offered to us. Every employee was courteous, friendly and willing to help on anything, huaooo, I love it. Definitely, we are coming back again again. I want to thanks GOD for giving us another opportunity to experience his creation, AMEN. SINCERELY TONY.

Decent hotel, the staff was friendly and the room was clean. Nearby restaurants within walking distance include Longhorn Steak House, Olive Garden and Starbucks. The bed was comfortable but the sofa was not. There is a free shuttle service to the Tampa airport. This is a basic hotel, no frills, just basic.

Myself and any employee of my company always choose this hotel in Tampa, and we have been staying here at least once a week. I arrived at the hotel this week without a reservation for the first time. I didn't have time to do it. Upon arrival I asked if there was a room available and requested the room with a King bed. I also informed the reception that I always stayed here. They told me that they were full, that they only had a room with double beds for $189 without tax. I told the reception that I was fine and proceeded to pay. As I was going up to the room I received a call from my office in West Palm Beach to tell me that they would reserve me a room in that same hotel, with a King bed for $159 plus tax. I told them that I was already at the hotel and had already paid. I felt that the reception lied to me, perhaps so that I would pay more. In fact, there were rooms with a king size bed available for $159 plus tax, I checked it myself on the Internet when I got to the room. Unfortunately, we and all our partner companies will be changing hotels. It's a pity, because the hotel's infrastructure is adequate, but here if you arrive without a reservation they will make you pay the most expensive rate regardless of whether you are a regular customer.

The good thing in this hotel is probably the location and I’ll also add the staff as everyone was friendly and ready to help! But, the tv didn’t work, the phone seems to just have been put on hold indefinitely so you can’t reach out to the front desk, the rooms didn’t look like what was advertised and it was a bit of a hassle finding some things around the room. Plus they only had one very light and not so big spare planked for the sofa bed which is not ideal to sleep with. The breakfast wasn’t the best but there was a good variety so it was okay. I probably won’t go back there but if you’re on a budget and just look for a place to lay down at night then this place is perfect if comfort is not one of your biggest concern

Location was nice, close to shops and plenty of restaurant choices. On the other hand, our comforter had tons of mold on the inside of it. Front desk thankfully gave us a new one right away, but overall cleanliness is definitely a huge concern after seeing that. It was definitely mold and not feathers like they tried to convince us. Also, one of their two elevators was broken during our stay, which made staying on the 6th floor slightly inconvenient having to wait for the one elevator. Not a great experience

I have read some pretty poor reviews on this hotel. However, we have had a great experience here. The staff was extremely friendly, our room is spacious and set up more like a studio than hotel room, and it’s very clean. We will not hesitate to stay here again when we fly out of Tampa.

Location is great, the staff are super friendly, and the airport shuttle was just perfect! The lobby is showing some age although the rooms were nicer than we expected, with the exception of the bathroom which was a bit dated. Everything was clean and tidy. The breakfast was below average (the eggs were pretty much inedible). Overall a good option but the Hyatt House was newer and better (and can be cheaper).

I went Sept 18th approx 2pm, the gentleman needs a customer service etiquette class. The outer hotel and the lobby is nice but I was not impressed with the room. The picture of the rooms on the website far nicer than the actual room.

The lady who works third shift, the employees during the breakfast on the weekend AND the housekeeper for the 5th floor were all absolutely AMAZING! I had really great interactions with all of them! They were so friendly, fast, efficient and attentive in their service. I am very pleased with our stay and will be back for such a great team!!

The hotel needs some updates. The rooms are starting to show there age. Location is perfect for flying out of Tampa. Hotel staff are doing an amazing job keeping things as clean as possible. They need to have a better plan for picking up guest when they do a car rental return. Maybe provide the driver with a smartphone that has the latest Google maps.

I like booking Hyatt Place because they stay consistent no matter what state I'm in. This is the second time I've stayed at this particular location; great customer service and a clean, quiet room is what I know I'll be walking into. 5 minutes from the airport with awesome shuttle service. I didn't come down at the 30 minute interval and was still ushered into a van and on my way within 3 minutes. Rooms aren't luxurious or especially large but the beds are very comfortable, water is hot, TV is smart and outlets are abundant. There's a fridge in every room and even a wireless phone charger on the night stand. I really appreciate the little division of living room and bedroom. Solid place to stay.

I had to stay here recently due to hurricane Idalia. The room was nothing special. The HVAC was unable to maintain temperature and very noisy. It was evident there was a water leak in the wall. The whole time I was there the floor was wet a foot away from the tub. The room was in sad need of proper remodeling. The internet although available is wide open and not secure. I changed all passwords once I got to secure internet access. I have to give the staff credit because this was one of the few places open and they were full. I'm sure short staffed, very busy and dealing with frustrated guests. So why did I stay? Any port in the storm, nothing else was available.

The rooms were large as usual. The bed was soft as was the couch. The water was hot and the pressure was good. The only issue was the AC. The AC is right next to the bed so it doesn't cool the entire room well. I set it down to 60 but it wouldn't cool past 72.

My usual place to stay when I visit a friend in St. Pete. I never really have many issues when I visit. My only issue this time is where my room was placed. On the last day of my visit, I realized I was near the pool and could still hear the kids in the pool from my room on the 5th floor when I was trying to sleep. That aside, I would still stay at this hotel since they have affordable rates compared to other hotels in that surrounding area.

Make sure to use HotelDully.ᴄᴏm when booking any stay. They compare thousands of booking websites and normally will have rates much cheaper than others! Thank me later! This place is one of the best in this area. I've been coming here for a very long time. If you stay for a few days you won't be let down. I have read some pretty poor reviews on this hotel. However, we have had a great experience here. The staff was extremely friendly, our room is spacious and set up more like a studio than hotel room, and it’s very clean. We will not hesitate to stay here again when we fly out of Tampa.

Clean room, excellent breakfast, ample parking. The pool area was nice as well. The ladies at the front desk were very friendly. I'd stay here again!

We had a great stay at the Hyatt place! It was in an awesome location, right behind Ruth Chris, beside a Starbucks, and 10mins from the stadium, which was perfect for us because we came to town to see Beyoncé! A lot of the guests were in town for the same show so it was nice. The staff was very friendly and was able to provide all the last minute things we forgot. The room was nice sized and very clean. The only problem we had was our tub drained fairly slow and once we realized the problem it was due to a very clogged drain. I would recommend them checking drains after each visit but aside from that we had a great time and I would definitely stay here again.

This Hyatt Place is outstanding! Very clean and comfortable rooms. Plus the free breakfast is really good! Highly recommend 😊

Nice Hotel, staff tries hard. Morning breakfast is good. Place is slightly dated, but you really can’t complain. Workout room and washer and dryer were big helps.

I could cover a lot here. The front desk staff was friendly as was everyone in the hotel. The cleaning staff in the room was so-so and didn't always do their best and didn't really seem to change anything. The pillows were horrible. Beyond horrible. The AC unit didn't always work well and sometimes it took 12 hours to get the temp to what I set it at. The unit was very loud and would kind of go on and off, even with the fan set to high. The curtains were an inch too short so the sun came in during the morning. The hotel overall was dated. The breakfast people stack the trash in the hall. The workout room 1st time I went was dirty. Next visit had no towels. It is a small workout area with very dated things. Location is good so another positive. The parking lot is a cut through for some uber drivers and they hangout around there, sometimes even smoking out back. Many nights they allow people to go through and shove a menu under your door, which raises security questions and no thanks I don't like having to clean up that trash too. My room was just dated in other ways too and the bathroom had a musty/moldy smell the whole time. Overall, it's a dated property that probably shouldn't be a Hyatt. I wouldn't stay again. Good location and friendly staff, but just not clean, dated, and yeah...Also, slow elevators and there was some drink spilled in the stairs that remained for a week. Again, they don't clean too well

Very clean, the staff is very helpful & pleasant. The breakfast is okay not many for those who don’t eat pork, all they had was sausage for a meat choice.

bare minimum everything. a fridge and sink. the entire hotel is dated but the free breakfast was great and some of the stuff is very friendly and hospitable.

This Hyatt has seen better days. The beds are very uncomfortable as the mattresses are quite old, large dents. The carpet in the rooms are dirty. The popcorn ceiling is chipping off and all the furniture is chipped and banged. The room Smelt of a heavy use of chlorine. This hotel needs a complete due over.

Clean, simple rooms. Great complimentary breakfast. Very convenient to airport and nearby restaurants. Not a very pedestrian friendly area lacking sidewalks, but seemed very safe. Small pool and very simple gym.

Staff was amazing. Food was very decent. Rooms were comfy. Location was great. Would definitely stay here again.

Our stay was pleasant. The breakfast could use some improvements, as it was very bland and cold food. The room itself was big and clean and overall quiet. The location to downtown St Pete was perfect. Far enough away to be quiet and close enough to drive and enjoy. Staff was nice although there was an error when assigning a room and we're were given keys to a room that was occupied. If it had not been for the fact that the person had a door safety latch we would have walked in on him.

Overall a great stay room were always clean with fresh towels and a very nice girl. The only thing I would ding it on us breakfast. When the men are running the morning shift please now that breakfast which should be at 6am will not be ready until 630 or later. This was very annoying as the front desk staff really didn't see an issue with it and it happened 3 days of my 6 night stay to include my last day checking out when nothing else was open except for the airport restaurants. Overall great hotel I just wouldn't stay there if complementary breakfast played a roll in your decision to stay.

I’ve never wrote a review about a hotel before, but this was an exceptional experience. Friendly staff, rooms were perfectly clean, and very convenient to Tampa stadium/hotel. Highly recommend!

really nice guy at the front desk at check in. good breakfast. the shuttle driver was super cool. But, found a giant roach in my room. Told the front desk. night shift lady said it was a cricket. obviously was a roach. they moved me to the 6th floor, smaller bed, smaller shower. To top it off, alarm clock was preset for 6am. was super jet lagged, needed the sleep before conference. room was dirty, found dog food on the floor.

Make sure to think before spending your valuables on this low-maintained property! Only for locations, this place is worth one star. They charged me over $300+ for one and half nights. It was a short layover, but I didn’t expect to get charged for two nights and three days! Moreover, the room was very backdated, and I couldn’t even sleep that one night due to the elevator noise and air conditioning noise. I had to keep that off because of excessive noise and stay in hot temperatures instead. The room looked creepy, and I believe they barely cleaned bed sheets and window curtains. I reported all those issues, but they didn't care at all. I never expected this low service from World of Hyatt - Hyatt Place.

I was especially pleased with their staff. They were all professional and friendly. They shuttle service was exceptional. I can't tell if it was the availability of the shuttle or the extremely personable day driver that influenced my rating.

Customer service saved the day! Everyone we've spoken to has been the most polite and has assisted me to the best of their ability! Even asked for essentially a whole bed of sheets with it all being delivered faster than I can run out to the car! Great visit due to a great staff!

Horrible experience. Rooms were so dirty and my feet were black after walking around the room. Found a bunch of bugs crawling around my bed and the hotel would only refund one of the nights we stayed. All they did was offer to move us to a new room. Poor customer service.

Good location. A little pricy. Do not at all like the sink being located in the open room instead of being part of the bathroom. Small bathroom, consisting of toilet and shower. Definitely not a first choice hotel

Will not come back, wondering who is writting all these great reviews. Kinda older place, dirty bathrooms near lobby, one of the elevateurs was not working properly, very average breakfast quality (example: scrambled eggs were industrial low end eggs), pool water was cold. Staff was really nice though, no issue there but facility is not worth the price paid for 1 night, about $300 for a bedroom with 2 full beds and a couch.

  • 2/5 muhammad k. 2 years ago on Google
Charged extra money and when you call for refund it takes them 10 business days to do so plus rude customer service. Bathroom was pathetic with basin outside the bathroom space. Breakfast was good and so was shuttle service hence the two stars.

  • 5/5 Nikolas B. 2 years ago on Google
It was quite nice. Fair for the price, awesome customer service on check in and check out. The rooms were clean and quality. It really was a pleasant stay and seemed to have a good reputation with the locals.
