One of the worst experiences of my life! The owner is extremely rude and unprofessional, From the moment you go into the reception area you can tell the place is not clean and the smell of cigarettes is dizzying. I had to wait for 10 minutes for the owner to show up to check me in! I asked him if we can get a room with a lake view and he mocked me for thinking I can book a lake view room when booking one night. Only to find minutes later that the other family that we were with, who arrived arrived 20 minutes after us were given a lake view room. When I went ti ask him why, he exploded in my face and by the end of his unexplainable rant he said told me he will cancel my stay if I don’t line his attitude. So I did and we left the horrible place.

Worse Experience Ever! First, rooms weren't clean at all! Bathroom was full of moulds. While me and my girlfriend sitting and chilling late night, owner came drunk and tried to hit on my girl. He tried to talk politics. He tried to make us feel ashamed of not knowing French and we live Canada. Lastly, check out time is before 11:00 am. At 10:30 am the cleaner walked in while we are changing and preparing to leave! Overall, I would not suggest to visit this place. The only good thing is the location, other than that its definitely a NO!

Many of the buildings have fallen into disrepair. They no longer have a restaurant nor bar on site. Still, we upgraded our room, enjoyed a hot tub dip, drank our wine with a view, and slept well.

When i walked in there was a very strong smell of cigarettes there was also a dog wouldn’t stop barking and was very annoying. When my husband asked why he didn’t get the room he asked for the owner stared exploding at him so we decided to leave, while we were leaving we saw another family who got the room we asked for,the room was very dirty. Honestly a very disappointing visit so save yourself and don’t come here.

My husband and I wanted to spend the new years at this hotel. We booked through Expedia. However, we accidentally booked for December 1st and 2nd instead of January. Upon realizing our mistake, we contacted the hotel. The owner picked up phone and this gentleman did not give us a chance to explain and said that he was not going to refund our money. Not to mention that he was rude and a bit of racist. I did not spend any time at this hotel, so there is really nothing I can say about their rooms and location; however it is obvious that they only care about their profit and not their guests’ satisfaction. Had they accepted to refund us, we were planning to book for the new years at this hotel, but now we know where we should stay away from. Thanks for nothing!

After making a reservation through Expedia, the owner called my wife, he was very rude and was trying to get my wife's credit card information, very sketchy. The owner forgets how to speak English if you have a problem and is abusive towards women, not too much when confronted by a man. I wouldn't stay there, they sound like horrible scammers, I just hope he refunds the money he took for our reservation before he cancelled it.

Very clean rooms. The room in front of the jacuzzi was great. We stayed for one week and decided to stay longer. Very nice service. The owner is a very good person and very helpful. The views are amazing. I enjoyed many sunsets. Barbeques and the pool make it up for the days the weather isn't very good. We really enjoyed the beautiful street that sends you here. And we really enjoyed our stay. We will come again and bring our dog since it's pet friendly also. Thank you to the Auberge Villa Bellerive.

If you do not want to be disrespected by the racist owners foul language please do not book from this hotel!! The owner was had the audacity to run a business in a highly touristic area, yet he was extremely rude towards us just because we did not speak any French. It doesn’t make any sense for such a person to run a business in the hospitality sector when non-French speakers, immigrants and tourists are making up the big bulk of your customers. He did not listen to our complaints. Responded us in French while in fact he can speak English so well; and did not even let me speak to him without cutting me off. I made a complaint about him and the hotel to Expedia three different times. He intentionally did not speak to them in English and as a result we were told by Expedia that there was a “language barrier with the hotel.” If you don’t want your weekend getaway to turn into a nightmare and your credit card to be charged numerous times stay away from this hotel.

Fun family owned place. The owner is very friendly and most rooms have the ability to extend to another room for big groups. Hot tub gets busy at night so be sure to get in when you can. Pool was heated just not vacuumed. Place looks lovely at night as there are many lights. No restaurant but there is a breakfast available at around 12.50$ per person. Plenty of BBQ's available to use to make your own meals.

👍 Great food, decent rooms. I didn't play in their golf course but I heard that some parts are dry.
