I
am
a
great
gap
taster
who,
since
opening,
has
often
given
up
his
pocket
money
and
the
opportunity
for
a
six-pack
for
a
meal
in
this
restaurant
when
he
was
young.
Gap
Döner
used
to
be
an
oasis
of
contentment,
which
brought
you
a
bit
closer
to
home
after
a
bite
into
the
juicy
bread,
paired
with
the
crispy
meat
and
the
beautifully
fresh
salad.
Even
simple
dishes
like
fries
with
a
portion
of
their
homemade,
unsurpassed
sauce
have
flattered
the
palate
and
stomach.
Not
like
other
kebab
shops.
And
all
this
at
a
reasonable
price,
which
even
the
poor
people
always
got
fed
up
with.
Today,
however,
the
noble
restaurant
that
once
made
you
so
happy
has
turned
into
a
commercial
qualitatively
run-down
place.
The
doner
kebabs
are
half
the
size
they
used
to
be.
Really
half
the
size.
The
meat
has
lost
its
bite
and
the
sauce
is
just
seasoned
mayo.
And
all
this
at
a
more
expensive
price.
Of
course
everyone
has
to
see
where
they
stay
and
I
still
have
a
melancholic
sympathy
for
the
once
beautiful
retreat,
but
I
miss
the
old
standards.
You
can
still
get
an
evening
meal
there,
which
will
fill
you
up
to
some
extent,
but
unfortunately
it
is
no
longer
my
first,
second
or
fifth
place
to
go
for
a
good
doner
kebab.
I
give
it
2
stars
out
of
nostalgia,
but
until
a
few
years
ago
I
gave
everything
to
be
happy
there,
but
today
I
unfortunately
advise
you
against
it.
MfG
your
doner
kebab
connoisseur.
(Original)
Ich
bin
ein
Ur-Gapverköstiger,
welcher
seit
Eröffnung
häufig
in
der
Jugend
sein
Taschengeld
und
die
Möglichkeit
auf
ein
Sixpack
für
eine
Speise
dieses
Restaurants
hergegeben
hat.
Gap
Döner
war
mal
eine
Oase
der
Zufriedenheit,
welche
dir
nach
einem
biss
in
das
saftige
Brot,
gepaart
mit
dem
knusprigen
Fleisch
und
dem
schön
frischen
Salat
ein
Stück
Heimat
näher
brachte.
Auch
einfache
Gerichte
wie
Pommes
mit
einer
Portion
ihrer
selbst
gemachten,
unübertroffenen
Soße,
haben
den
Gaumen
und
Magen
geschmeichelt.
Nicht
wie
bei
anderen
Dönerbuden.
Und
all
das
zu
einem
angemessenen
Preis,
welcher
selbst
die
armen
Leute
immer
satt
bekam.
Heute
allerdings
ist
aus
dem
einst
so
glücklich
machenden
edel
Restaurant,
eine
kommerzielle
qualitativ
heruntergekommende
Stätte
geworden.
Die
Döner
sind
halb
so
groß
wie
früher.
Wirklich
halb
so
groß.
Das
Fleisch
hat
nicht
mehr
den
selben
biss
und
die
Soße
ist
einfach
nur
gewürzte
majo.
Und
das
alles
zu
einem
teureren
Preis.
Klar
muss
jeder
sehen
wo
er
bleibt
und
ich
habe
noch
immer
eine
melancholische
Sympathie
für
den
einst
so
schönen
Rückzugsort,
aber
ich
vermisse
die
alten
Standards.
Man
kann
sich
dort
immernoch
eine
abendverköstigung
holen,
welche
einen
ansatzweise
sattigt,
jedoch
ist
es
leider
nicht
mehr
meine
erste,
zweite
oder
fünfte
Anlauf
Stelle
für
einen
guten
Döner.
Ich
gebe
aus
Nostalgie
2
Sterne,
aber
ich
habe
bis
vor
ein
paar
Jahren
noch
alles
gegeben
um
mich
dort
beglücken
zu
lassen,
doch
heute
rate
ich
euch
davon
leider
ab.
MfG
euer
Döner-Connaisseur.
