I don't have any idea why this place has a decent ranking. It is more of a hostel than a hotel, certainly not a full service hotel. We arrived late afternoon to find the building locked, our keys in a plastic bag outside. No lift to the third floor, and then we find out we are suppose to share a bathroom with two other rooms. Oh hell, no. No restaurant, no place around to eat, out in the middle of nowhere. The place was filled with a bunch of shifty looking people. We left. Run from this place. So gross.

Spacious room with all high quality amenities you need. Lake view is stunning. Family friendly too. Breakfast is a bit overrated but overall we were very happy there.

5 stars does not do this hotel justice. I have traveled many places in the world and this was in the top 10 due to exceptional service. I attempted to book through AirBnb, but kept encountering errors. I contacted the hotel manager through the all and she was very accommodating, held a room for us even though we couldn't make a reservation. The view of the lake was gorgeous and we could even get glimpses of Neuschwanstein through the mist. They have a fantastic sauna with views of the lake as well as a child play room and an exercise room. The buffet breakfast was one of the best I have had and they even made freshly cooked eggs as well as cappuccino. Wonderful experience.

We stayed at this hotel for 1 week in early September and it was just wonderful. A beautiful, very clean and spacious apartment with a million dollar view, right on the lake and the famous castles on the other side in the distance. Tanja and Uli were super helpful with everything - from a warm welcome, to dining tips and advice for sightseeing. The breakfast is fantastic and there are lots of dining options nearby. It made for a great family getaway and we would love to come back one day.

I booked a room for a family holiday. The room is very spacious, the view is gorgeous and the environments outstanding, nights were starry and sunset and sunrises extremely beautiful! We can see snowy mountains in front of the lake and looking carefully, you will be able to see the two famous castles on the far. Peaceful place and ideal for a stay after or before visiting the Neuschwanstein castle which is 15 minutes away from the hotel. Breakfast was included on the room rate and it was delicious! The bretzels are exquisite! The hotel owner is a very kind woman.

A nice surprise ! The appartment itself is good, just the beds could be a bit better. The breakfast is awesome ! The place is perfectly calm and you can enjoy big walks or rides around the artificial lake. A very good location if you are looking for calm and relaxation.

Absolutely beautiful location! A well designed sauna building with a view of Neuschwanstein castle across the lake. Excellent breakfast buffet. The staff is very friendly and speak excellent English. We really enjoyed our stay!

Amazing and peaceful location, not far from Neuschwanstein castle. Very fair pricing and lovely service, attentive and friendly people - would definitely recommend!
