Moved
to
SE
not
long
ago
and
finally
go
a
chance
to
order
pizza
from
Emilio's.
Order
confirmed
via
Slice
and
received
a
message
shortly
after
that
the
pickup
time
was
moved
out
a
little
further
due
to
high
volume.
No
worries,
it's
a
Sunday
night
and
the
pizza
is
supposed
to
be
good.
Arrived
at
Emilio's
an
hour
after
ordering
and
they
initially
couldn't
find
the
order.
Then,
after
repeating
the
name
and
app
several
times,
they
found
the
order
in
the
system
and
advised
it
would
be
15-20
minutes
because
they
hadn't
started
preparing
it
yet.
I
was
told
it
was
due
to
Doordash
having
2
orders
pending
(not
sure
how
that
relates
to
Slice)
and
that
my
order
would
not
have
been
fresh
anyway
when
I
arrived
(no
idea
here
either).
I
advised
that
the
app
gave
me
the
estimated
and
updated
pickup
times
and
the
man
at
Emilio's
told
me
that
normally
they
have
to
confirm
the
order
so
he's
not
sure
what
happened.
When
I
advised
it
was
confirmed
an
hour
prior,
he
simply
asked
what
the
pizza
toppings
were
so
he
could
make
the
pizza.
At
that
point,
I
just
decided
to
cancel.
He
became
frustrated
and
said
it
would
only
be
20
more
minutes.
Look,
had
at
any
point
other
than
when
I
was
opening
the
door
to
leave,
one
of
3
people
working
had
just
said,
"Hey,
we're
slammed
and
we
confirmed
the
order
and
then
forgot
about
it.
So
sorry.
We'll
have
it
ready
in
15-20
minutes,"
I
would
have
just
waited.
When
you
blame
everyone
else
and
treat
your
customer
like
I'm
an
inconvenience,
I'm
not
going
to
pay
you
to
feed
me.
Pizza
is
one
of
our
favorites
and
we
eat
it
often.
We
live
less
than
5
minutes
from
Emilio's.
And
we
will
never
be
eating
Emilio's
pizza.
(Due
to
the
wait
but
now
also
by
choice.)
