We are so pleased to say that this restaurant has a good customer service. There is one particular person that stand out above everything else and he name is Nerio the bartender! Great personality, very attentive to detail. Love the guy! We always make sure we come when he is working.

This was one of the places I ate for my honeymoon. We both ordered the prime rib and it is amazing! Cuts like butter and their Seasoning is perfection. When we seldom come here we always go all out. I haven't had a menu item I didn't like. I will say, the blooming onion we received this time wasn't up to par. Majority of it was burnt which made the size of the onion as a whole a lot smaller.

Although my husband's meal was good other than his BP not cooked done, my meal was not. I had the Ribeye Steak bone in, ceasor salad and French fries. First off my ceasor was wonderful, crisp Roman and just the right amount of dressing. But the Ribeye Steak with Bone in was not what I expected for $29.00. First the bone was so small. The Steak was cooked close to my medium request. Then I cut into the Steak and found that fat we all love to hate. So I cut again and came up with fat again. The manager was called over by the server and he gave up 25% off our check. We had 2 $50.00 gift cards we received as gifts. As we left we gave them to another table because we felt that that first impression was a big loss of us coming back. See pictures make your decision. The pile you see is all fat. Some might have a little meat attached cause I was unable to cut it away from the fat.

Update. "be of further help". Is that a joke as you offered no help as usual. In all the previous bad experiences all I got was covid excuses and oh yeah one of your employees offered to let me drive all the way back to the restaurant to pick up my missing salad. Yeah thanks but I will do as I have had to do in past and stop ordering from Outback. Shame as you used to be my absolute favorite place to eat in Roanoke. I am tired of excuses and will not continue to waste my hard earned money on inedible food. Downgraded to 2 stars for that ridiculous response. My right hand is currently in a brace due to CMC issues and I am having difficult time using it let alone cook. Thought I would pick up a few meals for the weekend and was craving some steak. I looked and it seemed Outback reviews were improving so I decided to give them another chance. I had not ordered from them since November 2021 due to 4 bad experiences in a row. Bad food, missing food and special instructions not followed, etc.. Well big mistake on my part. Although all salads were included this time and look and taste good the no croutons was not followed for 2 requested nor was any extra dressing included that I requested - and I scoop of butter for my baked potato instead of the requested "everything".. Worst of all first steak I don't know what is going on with! Almost burnt on the outside but there is a sliver on bottom that looks like raw meat. It was chewy and yes it tasted raw. Don't even understand how that happened given how dark the outside was. Also from my picture you can see the baked potato is yellowish. As soon as I cut it open my first thought was old potato. And yes it was old. I dread trying my other 2 steaks and hoping when I cut them open they don't have the rawness as well. As it is I ended up having to throw out a good portion of my steak as I do not eat raw meat. My hand hurts too bad to deal with it and try to cook just bottom portion. That was my sole reason for ordering from here to begin with. Another very disappointing experience. I really was hoping Outback had got their act together and improved. Unfortunately this was another bad experience and I am putting them back on my do not order list. Will advise others as well they still need improving. It was not like I ordered at a busy time either. It was around 3pm and hardly anyone in the parking lot. Doesn't matter if pandemic, busy, etc. this continued poor food and underwhelming service is unacceptable to me especially when I pay what I do. Neighbor told me The Great 611 Steak Company just a little further down the road is good. Will give them a try next time.

Why does the Mac and cheese taste like pasta water and sprinkle of cheese? Didn’t even mix the kiwi lemonade, the steak was raw, the only thing good is the sweet potato but can’t really mess that up? How I pay $50 for two people and still be hungry? Going to 611 next time I pay less and get full even without the salad bar 🙄 don’t go here disgusting no flavor nothing the steakhouse max and cheese also awful taste like you ate a spoon full of pepper

Bridget was our waitress and let me tell you something I’ve never had a waitress so caring and kind and she was such a fresh breath of air and I’m sure she is to everyone at the outback steakhouse I will be asking for her every time. Thank you so much for your kindness, you’re worth every penny!!!! I hope she is recognized from her managers because I’m sure she brings a lot of business to this company!!!!!!

My husband and I were there last night, sat at the bar and the service was excellent! It was a little warm in there not sure if they were having a/c problems. The food was mid at best. We both ordered steaks which were a little undercooked not a huge deal. Got 2 of the Tim Tam sundaes for dessert to take home and when we got home, there was TimTam but no sundae. Huge disappointment for the price we paid. Don’t think we’ll be back.

The food was good, but what really stood out was the service. This Outback got slammed with customers when another restaurant down the road lost power. They quoted us a 45-50 minute wait time which was accurate in that it was how long it took to get our entrees. They seated us within ten minutes got us bread immediately and soup and salad a few minutes after ordering. More bread came out to tide us over until our entrees were ready. 45 minutes waiting inside with some food in us as opposed to 45 minutes waiting just to be seated with that crowd was very impressive. Well done mates!

430p Sun 10/9/22 Food good, but won't go again.Parking lot FULL but inside not busy. When I commented how odd that was and that I was glad there wouldn't be a long wait, one of the five wait staff at the door rudely said all the cars belonged to employees. Yup, plenty of employees but none except one seemed to be working. Booth table too high for seats, didn't think would be an issue but..Our waitress was pleasant but needed more training. Ordered coffee and sugar, 10 minutes later had coffee but no sugar. She brought a cup of sugar substitute packets and said they were sugar. Finally she brought a metal cup of granulated sugar.The table in front of us seemed to have the only working waiter, but he was constanty trying to fix something wrong with their orders and throwing kitchen staff under the bus-loudly. Waited a long time for food, which was hot and good , but too difficult to eat because table too high, had to practically stand up. Trying to pay bill took too long with waitress, took ticket to front with cash including better tip than service,etc deserved. My elderly father was impatient at this point. All he said was this is the check and tip for the black waitress. Female employee who took the payment rolled her eyes and sneered at him, which he didn't see because he had already turned to the door. I didn't have time to speak to her about this because a group of people were coming in the same time my father was grabbing my arm, trying to pull me out the door.

Absolutely one of our favorite places to dine in our waiter was absolutely fabulous. The food was fantastic. Service was great as it always is. And most of all they made me and my service dog feel very welcomed. Not like most places where you feel like can't be in there. They even offered him a plastic bowl of water. 😊 we will definitely be going back here again😉

Bridgette was amazing! You should consider yourselves lucky to have her. Not only was she super attentive, she made us all feel welcome and had us laughing throughout the meal. The food was great and the bread…let me say I could eat a loaf of that every day 😂 I highly recommend this location to anyone reading this, and make sure you take care of Bridgette. She deserves it

The waitress we had was very pleasant. However, we waited for over an hour for our meal while watching order after order come out for pickup. I counted 12 pickup orders for one dine in patron. After an hour and 10 minutes we just left.

We had a birthday dinner there tonight. It was VERY busy. Our server Bridget went above and beyond. Nice, outgoing, and really good at her job. Her section was full with several big parties, and she kept us all satisfied and happy. Request her if you want your service as good as your food!!

Had an absolutely amazing service from Bri C. - she was incredibly friendly and prompt with our group of 5 and was extremely patient and understanding with my grandmother. The food was excellent, including the few extra to-go orders we grabbed for home as well. Absolutely no complaints from anyone :D

After a long drive from Charlotte, I just wanted to have some food and relax. Well, I got more than that today at Outback. We were seated quickly and our service was exceptional. It means a lot when the server goes above and beyond and that’s what Bridgette did. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and not once did she pass our table without checking on us. Thank you for taking such great care of us, Bridgette. I will definitely be back when I’m in the area. I ordered the steak and shrimp pasta and it was delicious.

The family had the pleasure to have Bridget as our server. She was very attentive; so much so that our food came out perfect. Great customer service!

Unfortunately, this Outback location has been slipping lately. When eating at a chain restaurant, you typically expect the food to be consistent. That is not the case at this location. I recently had dinner here a couple of weeks in a row. The two waitresses that served us were like night and day. As was the quality of the food. It seems the employees need to be trained to the same standards from hostess to kitchen staff.

Our meals were excellent! I admit to being high maintenance and requiring extra attention and Stephen the server ALWAYS takes perfect care to assure I am happy. My husband loves the blooming chicken, too. This is by far my favorite Outback and Stephen is the best server ever!

The best meal I've had at Outback EVER; new special with chicken thighs done up as ribs, 6 oz sirloin, loaded baked potato and strawberry salad, everything was perfect and tasty 🤤. Try new cocktail: 🍏 Apple Whiskey - on point. Plan to wait, but you can check in prior to seating, recommend 45 min -1 hr on weekends

WE TRAVEL FOR A LIVING AND BEEN TO ALOT OF RESTAURANTS AND MATT WAS THE BEST SERVER WE EVER HAD IN OUR LIVES ! FOOD WAS HOT AND COOKED JUST RIGHT ! WE WILL BE BACK !

Michelle was such an amazing server! She was perfect attentive without being annoying. She was on top of things, she greeted us in a timely manner with fresh hot bread!, our drinks never went past half way, she put my daughter meal in first! She delivered our salads at perfect timing , 3-4 minutes after my husband finished his salad the food came out, which you can't ask for anything better :) Our food was cooked to perfection. My husband got a blooming burger, and I got a Chicken Caesar salad, my salad had bright green lettuce and the perfect amount of dressing! We got the new Tim tam? Dessert which was soo rich and yummy. The manager DEBRA FENDER came and talked to us for awhile and she was funny and uplifting and probably the sweetest person there other than Michelle. Michelle had a great smile and really made the whole experience so amazing !!

We were greeted by the host right was we walked in which was refreshing, most places the host isn’t around. But the host was super friendly and accommodating to our needs. We had Michelle as our server, she was a HOOT. She greeted us with fresh bread, keep our refreshments filled, she did amazing with anticipating our needs, she put my daughters food first which we appreciated so much. She gave me my salad at a great time, the entree came out at a perfect time, our food was corrected and freshly made! The manager DEBRA FENDER, stop by the table and we loved her as well, super nice and understanding, She told a few funny jokes and really connected with us. DEBRA FENDER is probably our new favorite manager, it was RON because he knows soo much about the food, name anything and he can tell you what’s in there. But having DEBRA stop by the table was refreshing due to her humor. If you ever had a bad experience here I recommend giving it a second try! Ask for Michelle and she will totally give you a different experience. It was very great lunch!!

We were out of state and stopped for dinner and my son left his favorite blanket and a toy. We were half way home hours away when we realized this. I called to see if we could pay for shipping to send the blanket to our house and the manager took our information but not payment. The next day his blanket arrived with his toy and he was so excited to have it back!!! They went put of their way for service and I couldn't not have been more appreciative. The experience there eating was also great and my kids enjoyed the chicken and fries and endless iced tea! Our steaks and shrimp were delicious and everyone was super friendly.

This location was able to accommodate a party of 9 at the beginning of dinner seating. I had great tasting food - Chili, potato, and Caesar Salad. Everyone enjoyed their meal & service. 😋 We also received a 10% veteran discount. 🥳 Manager dropped by the table to check on the group - he's also a veteran.

Never had a bad night here. Ribeye is always on point (medium rare) and the mashed potatoes smash. The Tim Tam Brownie Cake was probably the best dessert I’ve ever gotten from a chain restaurant. Good for 2 people to share!

While this is a chain steakhouse, they do have a good offering. The cut of steaks are decent, and the price is decent. This place can be a hit even with those that aren't a huge fan of steak. They do many things well. They have a full bar with seasonal drink offerings. Dessert is always good, but we usually don't have room. They have a minimal but decent seafood offering. The servers appear to be screened and are very friendly, attentive, and responsive to the needs of the customers. We have ordered to go several times and they pack the food well and in nice containers so as to not make a mess.

The food tasted great, came out fairly fast, and we were sat with barely a wait for a weekend night. Our waitress, Halle, was incredible. She was efficient and personable. She went above and beyond to make our experience excellent with all of our requests, and gave us some laughs too! We will be back.

Clay or Slay Clay to us was just wonderful! My family & I had such an enjoyable time that I decided to come again. What a nice way to spend an evening. Great food and an excellent server! Shelly was terrific too.

First time going to outback and I was not disappointed. Staff were awesome Bridgett in particular who just went above and beyond. The food looks like something from a picture made by Picasso and tastes like it too. Chill atmosphere here the place was perfect temperature wasn’t that crowded overall awesome would go here again.

Great experience at our new favorite restaurant! Our bartender Cooper made our date night an unforgettable one. His service and hospitality were unmatched. So friendly and easy to talk to. We will definitely come again! Thanks Cooper!
