You won't go hungry at this place. The drinks and waiters are nice and fun. The only thing that is hard to deal with is the actual beach. It is very rocky and you need to have beach shoes.

Food was really good and price even better. The service was great; six of us in total, five ate seafood and one ate chicken for around $75 USD.

Fresh made food from a family owned restaurant right on the beach with a beautifully kept dining area and breathtaking views. We’re definitely going to return for more 😋 a big shout out to ACE for sharing this gem on his YouTube channel 😎

Came here on the recommendation of our tour guide Peter. We had the Machuca with king crab. The best seafood dish I have ever eaten. Period. We will visit Roatan again just to eat here. Seriously.

Best food in Punta Gorda and also Garifuna cultural center. The Machuca was incredible and they are right on the swimming beach. You can enjoy yourself on a hammock on the dock or a.table to in the water. Great place are there 3 times and.really enjoyed it!

Stopped here for lunch. Quiet little fishing village, If you love seafood, this is the place to go. We had the traditional island fish soup,. Think it was called mariscos? huge serving, cold beer overlooking sea, Owner is very friendly, speaks English very well. Worth the trip to the east end beaches,.

Friendly service. Clean. You dont have to be in a hurry. Nice view. Chicken burger not at its best. Fish was... well...done. Nevertheless, I will go again

Set in the heart of a local Garifuna village, where the wind is strong and warm, and the people are wonderful, this outdoor restaurant served sone of the best lobster my family has ever had!

I usually don't want to write a negative review of a locally owned restaurant, but our experience was one of the most bizarre I have ever had at any restaurant. We had a group of 10. The waitress took food orders and forgot to take drink orders. We had to ask her to come back to take drink orders. About 45 minutes after we ordered, the first people in our group got their food. The last person to get their food was me, about 2 hours after we ordered. Of course, by this time, the first people had already finished. But what is more, my wife never got her food at all. When I got my food, 2 hours after we ordered, they said she would get her food (we're only talking fried shrimp here, not some complicated dish.) 15 minutes later the waitress came back and said that they still hadn't started cooking her meal and it would be at least another half hour. Of course we declined. But these people don't seem to know how to apologize in Spanish, English or Garifuna. When I went to pay, the people in front of us were told that if they wanted to use credit cards (they advertise on the wall that they do accept credit cards) there would be a 50 percent up charge. I give two stars because what food we did get was pretty good.
