I'm a real fan of coasters, however whilst this ride looked great, it felt very rough in comparison to similar rides such as oblivion. I enjoy the g forces, but do not like to be thrown erratically about. Not really enjoyable more of a headache enducing experience to be honest.

The first Gerstlaur Eurofighter in the UK - this is a great ride although a bit short. That 115ft vertical lift hill builds the anticipation brilliantly and that 97 degree 110ft drop is literally breathtaking! It has a couple of rough bits but if you sit in either of the back 2 centre seats it's not so bad. Love the zero g roll and the very forceful helix at the end. Great thrill ride.

My teenager looked at this for a little while, then decided it was for him. It looks insane and the speed of it whizzing by is impressive. He said it was "the best thing ever" with its vertical climb, vertical drop, loop-the-loop, twists and turns. He had several turns on it. During our visit there were no queues as the park was pretty empty which made for a great day.

Speed is an excellent steel coaster at Oakwood Theme Park. Elder brother to Saw at Thorpe and Rage at Adventure Island. This was apparently the prototype ride. Over winter some of the posts were given a much needed new coat of paint and I hope that repaint continues. The ride had a beyond vertical first drop and several inversions. You need to be 1.4m tall to ride it. The final double helix can be very intense. A fun ride if a little rough.

The UK's first Gerstlauer Eurofighter - has a number of enjoyable elements that make it quite a decent ride! Not the best Eurofighter, but among the best rides at Oakwood!

My favourite coaster at Oakwood. Amazing forces and thrills from every ride. Its a must ride coaster if you ask me and better than similar coasters in the UK. Its not as rough as others and can be enjoyed by most ages.
