Fabulous!! Absolutely love it here. From the moment you walk in you are made to feel so welcome, the staff are great (Alex is exceptional) and the food is top notch. Perfect for any occasion.

Excellent food, really enjoyed Some of the best service I’ve ever had, all by young adults/teenagers and a credit to the themselves and the pub Only thing I could possibly say as a downside, the lighting is a little too bright and we were seated at a table in the middle of the room……so being cosy was a little difficult. Later on in the evening, when the pub has quietened down a little , we were able to move onto one of the tables in the corner which was better

Tonight is the first time that I have visited this establishment and I can honestly say that I absolutely loved it. The service from entering to leaving is first class with everyone involved being exceptionally attentive without being intrusive. The food was sublime and very well presented.Compliments to the chef! Needless to say that this will not be my last visit to this establishment. Highly recommended.

Recommended to us so was really looking forward to trying it on a sunny day. Totally uderwhelmed with lunch, my partner ordered the prawn salad and I the halloumi salad.. The pleasant waiter returned after about 5 minutes to tell us there were no prawns so my partner decided to have the same as me. 'Leaf or loaf' meant just that halloumi with leaves, a mint dip and very little of anything else. On returning home my partner spent the remainder of this sunny afternoon on the loo and in bed, needless to say we won't be returning.

Great pub , very nice food we’ve been going since it was reinvented. Just a shame you can’t have a starter followed by another starter as your main ( equals a main meal in cost ) people of a certain vintage can’t eat as much We ate there recently and because the starters are so nice had them and ended up too full up.

What a jewel of a place! Lovely, warm, cosy atmosphere with a warm welcome from everyone. A busy pub so booking is a must, the staff are all very knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble. An extensive Gin, Cocktail and wine list. But the food, the food! Oh my goodness, tremendous doesn't even do it justice. Highly recommended.

First time in this pub & I was pleasantly surprised great service & food I had cheese & onion pie & chunky chips with beans. I was hungry & I polished it off it was hot just the way I liked it. As some places serve food warmish.

Experience was spoiled as, despite asking for the burger to be cooked "well done" it was still moo-ing on the plate when it arrived so we had to send it back and then it was like shoe leather.

Called in for an early evening drink, nice pub after the refurbishment. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Didn't dine on this occasion, but the food looked nice with a decent looking menu. Only negative, it's Robinson's real ales, which I don't like, good choice of other drinks though, would have given 5 stars otherwise. I have altered my rating of this establishment, dined here on Thurs 21st June. The menu was very good, we picked off the Specials, what a very good choice, the food was very good. The Malbec red wine we had was excellent. A very nice waitress by the name of Beth was fabulously attentive and friendly. Would recommend without hesitation, will also return to dine again. Fine selection on food, wine menu, and real ale. We had rag pudding 🍮 😋 well worth a visit.

We came across this very nice pub. They found us a time to eat in their very busy schedule on a Sunday. Excellent service and food. When we go again we will book first. We would recommend to all our friends

Set in a lovely ' cosy living room' type atmosphere and without doubt the best the best Sunday lunch I have ever had! The staff are also extremely friendly and helpful. I will be visiting again !

We have been here twice and had a really good experience both times. The service is brilliant and the food is amazing. The Sunday lunch (lamb and beef) are really tasty and the meat is cooked beautifully - the beef to order. Really recommend a visit

Wow!!! Just been for the first time, and the food was incredible! It blew us away! Cid loin gorgeous, Haddock cooked to perfection, tartre sauce, amazing! All sauces awesome, presentation immaculate, deserts to die for with ANY combination of creams, ice creams or custard. Service was delightful, especially Alex. He could be on TV what a character. Thank you! 💓

Went here withy so and daughter ilaw, on a recent visit, I couldn't believe the transformation, from the pub that it was, the service was excellent, the waiter soooooo pleasant and friendly, ad professional, the food was delicious, and atmosphere buzzing, would definitely recommend you try here.
