A nice park to walk around and plenary to do with the children, little steam train rides (only operate on a weekend) the park area, fields to run around and the tennis courts too! Lost of areas to have a picnic or even sit and take a minute! Which you may need if you use the adult gym equipment!They past 12 months has seen the park used more than even and unfortunately lots of litter around with overflowing bins which is sad to see! The park in general is always kept and the grass is never overgrown!

Great outdoor open space for all ages they have a outside gym too, it has a massive golf course which can be used as a cricket, football, other sports and picnic fields which the beautiful stone path leads to. They have reasonable parking space. The park also had a tennis and badminton courses and a beautiful botanical seating area near the courts, the park consists of a lake with many ducks and swans. My chidlren love coming here so do I as its my childhood favourite

Small council park, tidy and pleasant. Play area for kids, model steam train to ride on at weekend. Lots of space to walk dogs

First visit to the park. Attended with my grandson and grand daughter (4, 2). The park is well maintained, ( grass cut all area's tidy ) and all equipment painted and in good repair. Great place to take children. Grounds lovely.

Haven't been for years, what a pleasant surprise plenty to do, even the train was on £1 per person bargain if you have little ones, ice-cream van and sand pit take your buckets and spades enjoyable few hours.

Well kept and spacious park with excellent facilities. Miniature railway on Sunday's. Free parking. Footpaths suitable for prams/wheelchairs. Children's play area. Outdoor exercise equipment.

Excellent park and model trains to ride on as well a great day for the children and adult as well.

I think this is a beautiful park with all the mature trees and large wildlife pond. The climbing frames are modern and we'll planned, as a climber I can't wait to check it out. Over all can't wait go back on a better than rainy day with my dog and very easy to find :)
