Visited The Healey on a Thursday evening having first made a reservation. I hadn't been for over ten years and I was pleasantly surprised at how much it had improved. The service was super friendly and well organised. The menu is pretty good with a decent range of options. Price for two people was under £40 including drinks. Well worth a visit.

Had their rump steak from specials board. Oh. My. Goodness - please make this a regular on your menu. Cooked exactly to my liking, exceptionally good quality piece of meat!! Served with chips and salad, opted to add their Stilton sauce (which has added chillies and that day was a little too many, but still tasty). Others had cheese and onion pie which they really enjoyed. Always a great place (and local) to eat/drink

Really liked this pub. Got taken there by friends whilst staying in Rochdale. Good food. Excellent service.

We ate here for the 1st time today. 1st class food. The menu is very good and I was hard pressed what to choose. We had Fish and chips and the chicken salad which was really excellent. There is a Beautiful garden to the side to sit and relax in the sunshine. It’s only a 5 minute walk from Healey Dell also. Highly recommended 😎

A lovely varied menu with lots of choice (including desserts). Cheese and onion pie was great and seemed really home made.

The Healey is an amazing place to eat reasonably priced for the quality of food, the cheese and onion pie is amazing and highly recommended the salt and pepper Squid, Terry our waiter is excellent and couldn't do enough for us hats off to him keep up the good work guys looking forward to coming back and trying more on the menu 👍

The food is tasty big steak cut chips .. service is brilliant I like the way you get asked what you would like to drink if you know before you sit down .. lots of places take you to the table & your waiting 10 mins to even order for a drink 🍸 recommend The Healey a worthy 5 stars

My work team came here for our Christmas Lunch in December. Even at the busiest time of year the food was amazing, delicious and well presented, the service wonderful and atmosphere was great. This was the second Christmas Lunch we’ve had here, it was so good last year we came back and we were not disappointed.

Lovely experience as always but the man that seated us and took our orders this evening was delightful and was just so friendly even the kids said so! Food was lovely (anyone complaining about food - this isn’t a Michelin star restaurant it is a local pub please get a grip - even so is above average “pub grub”) service was quick. There seemed to be a mix of regulars and irregulars such as ourselves (so to speak). My grandad drank here for many years and I used to come plays boules in the back as a kid so is so nice to return 20 years later and still feel like a local even though I’m not. A credit to your lovely staff

Great staff friendly atmosphere. Food was lovely and reasonably priced. Lemon cheesecake saga with the server and our table was hilarious and it tasted amazing. Definitely visit again.

A great little pub, good food at a reasonable cost with good service and pleasant surrounding . The down side , unfortunately, is the lack of parking as there is no car park and is reliant on street parking, which is limited, The pub is very popular and close to Healey Dell nature reserve. Worthy of a visit.

Had a Sunday Lunch. Very enjoyable but the Yorkshire Pudding was too big and overdone. The portions are large. In years gone by this would not have been a problem but with advancing years I can't eat it all. I hate waste and I will ask for a smaller meal on the next visit. The service was very good and will definitely be returning. Excellent beer.

Came this evening for my Grandma’s 70th birthday. And the food was amazing I had a roast ‘on a Wednesday!!’ Everything was lovely roast beef was cooked to perfection. Great atmosphere and price was reasonable, will definitely come again

Worst experience on Christmas Eve.. table booked for 6 people for 8am .arrived 7.30.hoping to perhaps have a drink before our meal ..seeing as we were in a public house!!. was told by ignorant bar staff member to wait outside on decking.. until table available, luckily it wasn’t raining!! Waited outside whilst observing other people entering Healey.. (they were not instructed to wait outside )..we went back inside at 8pm to have to wait another 10 minutes for table !! Eventually got table & food was poor.. Won’t be returning…shame as we were regular customers

Always a friendly, warm welcome. A great selection of food and drink and always excellent quality and value. I would particularly recommend their roasts and cheesecakes. It sometimes gets quite busy, so I would advise you to book.

I’m so glad I found a new place for a Sunday roast. Really tasty and decent vegetables. Bonus is its dog friendly.

The food here is so good. I love the rag pudding but I've tried a few of the specials, sandwiches and other mains and they have all been really nice. The staff are always friendly too.

Late lunch with family. Fabulous interesting choices. Specials as well! Tasty generous portions, attentive service and very well priced. Looking forward to my next visit.

Very local to us so come quite often. Always lovely food and staff. Me and my husband went for dinner this evening and it was lovely. I had the grilled sea bass and I just wish it was on the main menu all the time it was that delicious. Hats off to the staff too. Very friendly …. And you know your in a good place when they already know what your drinking 🤣 10/10 for us 😀
