We really enjoy coming to this location, everything was great. We came this time on a Sunday night with a party of four for dinner, we were seated right away. I ordered the shrooms for an appetizer and the potato soup. We had a 12 ounce ribeye, the filet with lobster tail and the blooming chicken dish, everything was cooked perfectly and delicious. Our server (Erin C)was very friendly and courteous and we didn’t have to ask for anything, she was very attentive. The restaurant was very very clean including the bathroom. I definitely recommend this location.

Outback dinner with Tom The Legend Wyzga . We started with the coconut shrimp as appetizer. Followed by Alice springs Chicken with a loaded baked potato and chili for me. The legend ordered the blooming chicken with mashed potatoes. We were then joined by Queen Elizabeth who ordered a house salad . Our dinner was served fantastically by Melissa thank you very much for a very pleasant. evening.

Kudos to Stephanie; she made the whole experience amazing. Took good care of my parents and family, and made it an enjoyable moment for us. The food was also amazing; we order both the ribeye and the ribeye with a bone. Between the two the ribeye with a bone tasted even better, the ribs and the onion soup were very delicious and I love their mushrooms appetizer. Wine bottles were at a very reasonable price. And they cook the steak at perfection.

First time at Outback Steakhouse and I might say I’m slightly surprised. I thought that I was going to be disappointed but to my surprise I enjoyed my food. My bone in ribeye steak was seasoned well and cooked medium just how I requested. The fried onion was so tasty as well. The Mac and cheese wasn’t bad. But the asparagus wasn’t good. Overall good experience.. My waiter Justin S. was so kind , funny and provided us with proper attention and service.

Very good Outback location. Pretty packed on a Saturday afternoon but they accommodated us within 15 minutes. Our server was super friendly and helpful. The blooming onion is a must of course as an appetizer, and they’ve got some great cocktails on the cheap (The Wallaby Darned and Boozy Cherry Lime were awesome). The steaks don’t disappoint and were cooked correctly to order (med. rare). Potato soup was great and there were plenty of non steak options to add onto the meal. Place took covid seriously although the floor where we sat was sticky.

Worst outback I have where had. I placed a order on uber eats and put in the special instructions no bread crumbs and even called in after to make sure they can see it the woman on the phone said yes she saw it and the kitchen will make sure it's not on there waited a hour for my food to come only for it to come and it didn't follow the special instructions. Plus I asked for my steak to be Medium well and it was burn. And when I called them about it the girl acted like she didn't care and asked do I want to talk to a manager I said yeah they put me on hold a manager came on the phone. He said it was a mistake and asked do I want to send a replacement I said yes then he put me on hold again and then came back on and he said it's nothing he can do about it and I will have to reorder it if I want my order to be right. Why do I have to reorder when they messed up. Then he put the "owner" on the phone and he was disrespectful and he try to blame me for them messing up and you can tell he didn't care I even said that to him this was a waste of my money. On top of that the food was cold and it seems like they just try to reheat old food. Never will order for this location again

Holy made my first experience here amazing! She was very charismatic full of energy, fast service, attention to detail really made my experience amazing. I was starving and I thought I’d have to wait an hour for my food but came before ☺️ 100000/10

Upon arrival I was warmly greeted & seated right away. Melissa my waitress was very nice and made sure that I was satisfied during my dinner. The food was pretty good and served quickly, my only complaint would be the music (they should be more diverse). Other than that I definitely recommend.

I was beyond thrilled to have had a server that was extremely polite, fast on his feet, and a quick thinker. I enjoy seeing someone who enjoys working in the food industry because they display their deep knowledge about the menu and promotions!! I normally forget about the awards but he reminded me! Bravo!! Justin, thank you so much for taking care of us. I hope my next visit you'll be there again!!!

As soon as we walked in the host was pleasant and super kind. I didn’t get his name but our waiter, Robert was just as pleasant when he came to our table. Justin S was very outgoing, friendly and knowledgeable. I totally appreciate the service, Justin even put me on to a new side dish. The food was great but so was our server.

Getting together again after several years, my brother, sister and I had an awesome experience. Justin, our waiter, was great. Provided great attentive service. He even took group photos for us, to capture the moment.

4$ house beer, 5$ fosters, great waitress (thanks Melanie), 35$ porterhouse steak with two sides, 21$ salmon, 8$ kids burger with fries, 7$ cocktails, ... i could go on and on (not to forget the fondue and and and ....) - in three words: the place to be! Amazing atmosphere, kids friendly, super diverse, nicely decorated ..... . I am the highest rated tour guide in NYC and do make sure to bring my Olidaytours guests to New Jersey and from now on I will make sure to tell them not to only go shopping at Garden State Plaza, but to also go and enjoy what I got to enjoy now for a couple of times at the Outback Steakhouse on Route 17! I would even go that far and say, that it is worth it for tourists from Europe, my clients from Germany, ... to take an Uber out to the Outback, and back again. Just make sure if you do go, to say hello from Olidaytours and ask for Melanie, the amazing waitress .......

I’ve been to outback’s all around north Jersey, but this location is hands down one of the best! Not only was the service amazing from our helpful and friendly waitress to the manager who after the meal made sure to ask if we were satisfied, but the food was even better! Our food was fresh, perfectly cooked and brought out in a timely manner (we weren’t rushed and didn’t have to wait). I even appreciated the small things like making sure we were finished with our appetizers/salads before bringing out the meal (which is a big plus). I will absolutely be back!

Nice place to have good average steak. The meat is fresh, but not always cooked the way you ask. Appetizers are good, but little bit salty. In general, it was a good experience and I will be back.

I don’t know what happened to this place .. I’m so disappointed, I used to come here all the time. I’m not sure if there’s a new chef but all I have to say he did a horrible job! My fiancé ordered blooming onions and they were disgusting.. the breading was coming off the onions .. the onions were so hard. I also have a gluten allergy so they told me before that French fries are gluten free and made in dedicated fryer so I was safe to eat them .. today I asked again if they are gluten free and are made in a separate fryer and the waitress said unfortunately they aren’t gluten free because they fry everything in the same fryer… that is not safe for those with celiac ! Be careful and be aware…. Another thing the steak I had absolutely horrible … to me it tasted like it came out of the microwave or something … I have no idea what they did with it but yuck ! I always had steak here and they were so much better! That’s not all !!! … my fiancé was having a beer and found something swimming in it. Horrible experience.. I won’t be back here.

It’s been a minute since I’ve been here. Ambiance and food was just as I remembered. Salty but edible. Steak came out med rare when I wanted a medium. Justin S, our server, was amazing. Attentive and friendly. I’d come back for his service.

My friend took me out for my birthday. This was my first time going to Outback. I absolutely enjoyed my time there. The waiter was amazing, as was the food. I will most definitely be back.

Came here for lunch and I was blown away by my experience today! The lunch menu was affordable, and good choices! The food and drinks came very quickly. My servers, Daniela & Tyree were friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable — and i found out I was Danielas second 2nd table “on her own” - and her ability speaks volumes of the training she’s received! — oh! and my outback burger was delicious! I can’t wait to come back again.

I always love the food at outback, but tonight especially the service was outstanding. Tyree our server is just an amazing guy, so friendly and patient with us, and super helpful. We have some family visiting from Germany, and he was so accommodating and just an awesome person, and made the entire night feel welcoming. We all had a great time in no small part thanks to him and the other great staff that helped out who I unfortunately didn’t get their names, but were great nonetheless. Hope to see them again soon! You won’t regret having a meal here.

Food took a hit down from all these years. This place make the most tasteless ribs I have eaten. The meat will not fall off the bones. The taste is pure carboard without the pencil strikes. Service is excellent, but their product needs to be revamped with a better cook or material. I like the place so much I gave it a 4 star even though it has no atmosphere. The is no crowd like before. I will keep visiting until they get better. They were among the best steakhouses around and I want those days to be back!

Good cocktails, organized place- really impressed with our server Anthony who was SO great! Really timely, polite and such a joy. Haven't been to Outback in years but would come back for a server like him. Great experience.

Came here for Valentines Day dinner. We used their call ahead seating and were told that we were going to be given priority seating at the time that we arrived. We arrived there 30 mins prior to the time that we gave. They told us that there were several tables ahead of us and that we would receive a text message when the table was ready. He also stated that we would be receiving a welcome text message, confirming we checked in. We did not mind the wait. This changed, however, when people who arrived after us started getting seated before us. It was not just one table or 2 but about 5 tables. It got so bad that after 40 mins of waiting, I went up to the host, who stated that there were still 3 tables ahead of us. It was then that we actually received the text message confirming our suspicions. He did not check us in at all! Other than the mishap with the seating, my meal was delicious 😋. The waitress was very attentive and sweet. I believe her name was Holly.. I could be wrong. Either way, I had a bloomin fried chicken and ribs with rice and fries. My partner had steak and lobster. The lobster tail was on the smaller side, and the steak was burnt. We had their signature bloomin onion and their wings for appetizers. We had a couple of cocktails. It was Valentines Day 💝 why not! Those too were really good! 3 stars because of the burnt steak and the issue with the seating.

Seated and served quickly. Great waiter- Franklin! Food delicious! I cleaned the plate :) Only complaint (which I wish I didn’t have)- I originally ordered Diet Coke but saw Coke Zero was available (much better taste to Coke Zero!), but the tank needed changing because it lacked the syrup taste. Disappointing :( And more of the delicious bread would have been wonderful!

I had a fantastic experience at Outback recently. My waitress was the sweetest person. She just made it a pleasant time. My food was cooked perfectly as ordered and my drinks were great. Nothing fancy but good nonetheless. Overall a great meal and even better service. Thank you Melanie. You made the experience a great one.

Went there this past Saturday, October 7th and the service was exceptional. Robert is one of the kindest waiters I’ve ever met, and even when the steak I ordered was a little overcooked at first, he took care of it right away and I got my steak the way I wanted it cooked. Everything we ordered came quickly and at a good pace, and Robert made us feel so comfortable while we were there. No wonder why this place has remained open for so long! My parents even took me here when I was a toddler almost 30 years ago, and to see it still thriving today makes me happy.

Robert was our server and he was absolutely amazing! The service he provided was absolutely amazing as well. He was very professional, friendly and very attentive. He constantly checked in on us. We never had to wait for a refill of our drinks, he was on top of everything. Everything we ordered came out exactly as we wanted it. He was the best server we’ve ever had at Outback. I highly recommend him!

I love coming to this Outback. Service is always great and the food is delicious. Particularly, one server Tyree sticks out because he had this great energy and was very attentive. I am so happy I moved even closer to this location because it is very convenient to stop by anytime there's no time to cook. Thank you to the staff for keeping a clean atmosphere and being available at all times. I've been to the Longhorn pretty close to this place and it was the worst experience. Always choosing Outback from now on.

My parents and I used to come to this location every week for dinner. It used to be so good. We always had Holly, not sure if she works there anymore. After Covid, it didn’t hit the same. Our waitress was nice, but the food was very salty and our steak was cut unevenly in a way that left a flap on it. Will come back for the nostalgia but otherwise, it’s okay.

Went for Sunday dinner and ordered the Sirloin and Chicken with a side of caesar salad and Mac'n Cheese. Ordered my steak medium and it was cooked perfectly. Wasn't a big fan of the blackened/cajun style seasoning used on the chicken. I believe they used a similar seasoning on the mac'n cheese, too peppery. Our server was very nice. Prices are decent. I would recommend.

On December 15 2022 for dinner at their location in Rochelle Park NJ, I had the 12 oz classic prime rib medium well with a loaded baked potato. I was in heaven. The dish was perfectly cooked and the loaded baked potato was perfect. I come here to get my prime rib fix in. Not all steak places do prime rib and the ones that do usually only have it on certain days of the week. Longhorn Steakhouse next door does not have prime rib. Boston Market only has prime rib while supplies last on Wednesdays & Fridays starting at 4 p.m. and Sundays starting at 2 p.m. (my not available at all Boston Market locations) and BJ's Brewhouse and Restaurant in Teterboro only serve prime rib Friday and Saturday after 4pm and All Day Sunday. They don't have loaded baked potatoes or loaded mashed potatoes at BJ's just white cheddar mashed potatoes. At Outback, The au jus is NOT gluten-free (that's why its not on the gf menu but the prime rib meat itself is and the loaded baked potato is. The Aussie fries are not on the GF menu because they are in a shared fryer that fries wheat-based dishes. Holly was a very attentive server.

I like Outback Steakhouse very much, unfortunately we dont have any in Rockland County NY no more (wondering why???) I love their bloomin' onion and steaks. One of ny friends is chicken lover and he had fried chicken - in his opinion very good. Another friend had chicken and ribs - good too. My prime rib was great! Another friend gave 5* for porterhouse steak. I tried new drink - lavender lemonade - love it!!! We came early (around 5.30 - 6pm) on Sat and had a table right away. Around 6.30 - 7pm people started to come so it was the waiting list for sitting

I visited Outback with my husband for dinner yesterday, but it was a complete waste of money, and the dinner was ruined. Despite having been to Outback several times before, yesterday's food, especially the steak, was overly salty to the point that my husband and I couldn't eat it. The soup and salad we ordered as sides were also excessively salty, making them inedible. Additionally, the lemonade, which we usually enjoy, tasted like plain water, and the beer my husband ordered had completely lost its carbonation, resulting in the worst taste. We not only couldn't enjoy the food but also ended up wasting money, including the tip. I sincerely request that Outback, which produced the worst food to the extent that we don't want to visit again, pays attention. Please avoid providing customers with the worst food that can damage the company's image, no matter how !!!
