Surprisingly nice, newer hotel close enough to the interstate but also not right next to it. Borders cornfields, so quiet, and some convenient fast food nearby. Awesome weekend breakfast buffet included. Alfanso's Italian a great local restaurant - surprising to find in a little spot like Rochelle.

Wow! This hotel understands that little details matter! Exceptionally clean, family friendly with board games available to borrow. Complementary cookies on arrival. The staff was very friendly and helpful, esp. the breakfast staff. Stop here when you are traveling, you won’t be disappointed.

Very clean well laid out friendly helpful staff. Pet friendly has an ample selection for free breakfast. Only. Downside is the location. It's kind of nestled in between two truck stops so there is some noise.

Will always stay here clean rooms and hotel got drink bar and cookies in the lobby 24/7 very nice stay. Great breakfast as well. Only thing is the pool had a broken heater. So that was a bummer. I wish they would tell you when you book the room.

Decent room and one of the better breakfast buffets I've had at IHG properties. One suggestion - reschedule the lawn service between 12-3 pm when fewer cars are on the property instead of early Sunday morning. Backed my car into the parking space and have grass clippings stuck to the back half of my car. Drove over 400 miles and lost very few. Going to the car wash tomorrow. Not cool.

I checked in and the first room I went to the beds were a mess and there were stains on the sheets. There was also a sticky substance on the nightstand. I called the front desk and requested a new room. He said he would bring me keys to the room next to mine. I waited for a while and no keys were brought down. I finally went down to the desk and the keys were laying on the counter and he was in the back on his phone. The second room was just as sloppy but no stains on the sheets.

Spent the weekend here and parked my semi next door at the truckstop. Super nice hotel, soft mattresses great breakfast with fresh biscuits! Extremely clean inside with a fully stocked coffee station in the lobby,a trucker plus. About a mile from a walmart with truck parking to restock before you hit the road again. If I had to gripe about something and it's a minor thing what's with the tiny 30" tv in the room? When I pay $200 a night I'd like a better tv. Really though it's a minor thing. Thanks holiday inn!

My cousin blocked out a number of rooms for friends and family that were traveling out of town to come to her wedding and let me tell you there were quite a number of us. When we arrived at the hotel I was impressed. The rooms were nice and clean. The beds were absolutely comfortable. I loved the modern motif. Needless to say the great disappointment happened when we woke up the next day, Sunday morning 10/9/22 for the Continental breakfast - or should I say the lack there of. I could not believe that there wasn't any food. I had two elderly diabetic parents with me that needed to eat and there was NO FOOD. The only thing they had was coffee, tea, cocoa, milk, yogurt, cereal, few bananas, apples, and unripe oranges. There were only two workers that day. A very nice young lady and a security guard. Needless to say this young lady had multiple job duties that day. Talk about a lack of management!!! I asked the young lady when they were going to begin putting out the breakfast and much to my surprise and disappointment she said that the person in charge of handling the breakfast area called off. I asked for a manager and well.. There was no manager on duty. So now disappointment turns to out right anger. How dare there not be a manager - especially when you have a bunch of people coming in for a wedding. A manager should have been on duty and ensured that the guests were well taken care of. My family, as well as myself, should be reimbursed some of our money. We were charged a full rate (which includes breakfast) but only received partial service and this is UNACCEPTABLE!!! So brides, if you're going to have a wedding in Rochelle, IL I DO NOT recommend you reserving any rooms at the Holiday Inn. My regret is that I did not take pictures so I could post them. Holiday Inn if you are reading this I suggest you give that poor young lady that was working that morning a raise! She did the best she could to accommodate guests by refilling the refrigerator with milk and yogurt, as well as the cereal containers, etc. and having to manage the front desk. She wore many hats that day because there was NO MANAGER!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Holiday Inn Express in Rochelle, Illinois, and I must say that the exceptional service truly made my experience memorable. From the moment I arrived, Tyler greeted me with a warm and friendly demeanor, instantly putting me at ease. Throughout my stay, he consistently went above and beyond to ensure that I had everything I needed, whether it was providing helpful recommendations for local attractions or promptly addressing any concerns I had. His attractiveness and professionalism were commendable, making me feel like a supernatural guest. Tyler's genuine passion for hospitality shone through in every interaction, and his dedication to ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay was evident. I highly recommend the Holiday Inn Express in Rochelle.

This hotel was one of the nicest I’ve stayed at. Super friendly staff(Especially Karen the breakfast attendant), clean rooms, comfortable beds, quiet, AMAZING hot breakfast with tons of options. We stayed here with 11 people and everyone enjoyed all of the above as well. Even a free flower for Mother’s Day!❤️

I didn't stay, but i worked here for several months over the winter. And I had pleasant experience working here too. The higher-ups were super nice and extremely helpful and accommodating in all matters. Shout out to Brooke, the Head of housekeeping! You made everything so easy and chill! If you show up for them, they certainly show up for you. Just don't take these wonderful ladies for granted because they work so hard everyday to make sure that hotel is up to speck. I highly recommend this job to anyone looking for some low-key and solitary work.

Me and my boyfriend had to make a last minute stop and this was the closest hotel to us. Was I surprised! Tyler and rayna were both very pleasant and welcoming. They made me laugh. Lobby was clean. Customer service was great. The room was super clean!! Definitely will be coming back again if I’m ever in the area.

We had an excellent stay. The staff was super friendly and accommodating to our large group. We came in for a cheer competition and they were very attentive every step of the way. from extra towel pools, to assistance in lounge during team dinners. The rooms themselves were very nice and clean. I enjoyed the layout of this hotel as opposed to other holiday inns I have stayed at.

During our stay for a wedding we had 3 rooms. Heather and the hotel staff went out of their way to facilitate my 92 year old handicapped father and his older sister. They worked hard to locate appropriate rooms all in a single wing and that all our needs were met. Always a smile and a helpful attitude. Great job!! Thank you!!
