I had a great stay here. It was quite, clean, and service was on par with what you would expect. My three stars is based on a few things I couldn't ignore while giving an honest review. The biggest of my complaints is the amount of lighting in the parking lot. The only lights are the ones attached to the building so unless you parking in the row closest to the hotel your vehicle will be in the dark and easy pickings for a thief. The next issue was that elevator was out of service forcing you to use the stairs which wasn't an issue for me but for others it could be a real problem. I also noticed there were no security cameras in the hallways or by the hallway side exit doors. Even though my room was in near perfect condition and extremely spacious, I was taken back by the issue of the old Standard def. Television that was in the room. 5 years ago this would just be silly and viewed as me knit picking but in today's mobile friendly digital world with options such as simply connecting your cell phone directly to any TV's HDMI inlet and watching your Netflix or whatever, which I wasn't able to do and this greatly impacted my stay here. To some this may not be a concern and might be viewed as laughable but it sucked not having this option available because I travel a lot and it's comforting to be able to watch TV as if you where at home while away. All in all my stay was nice but I feel these are all serious issues that should be address for the safety as well as the comfort of the guests.

Rooms were so gross some type of blood stain on the mattress a ball of hair on the floor along with dead bugs. Went to front desk to say we wanted refund was only in room for 10 mins and the worker was upset saying we used the room. It was absolutely awfull and gross.

The bed is super comfy, the TV is a bit grainy. It doesn't show you the channels or a guide so I'm just flipping through blindly. The heat is hot. Sometimes I have to turn it off and then turn it back on, no other setting. Well there's a cool setting but it's too cold to use that anyways. The shower is nice and hot, bathroom is sort of clean. The shower could have been cleaner. There were some hairs in there. The mirror looks a bit Dusty the floor could use a vacuuming. On the lamp shade there looks like blood splatter. Maybe there was a murder in here haha. But I'm just here for the bed, very nice. I would bring some slippers and wear socks. They're supposed to be refrigerator but where the refrigerator was it looks like it's been pulled out. Maybe someone stole it. There are drawers and a place to hang your coat and clothes, lots of hangers. Forgot my toothbrush and razor, but the front desk had one for me.

Very nice people clean and good. I will go there every time and they have a good price for the rooms.

The prices their staff quote and that of the manager are different. The manager easily overrides the discounted rates that the staff had agreed to. Made me believe at the time of checkin that I would be billed for a lower rate while at the time of check out, I was billed much higher than what was agreed with their staff. Totally messed up with my budget. Unacceptable behavior. And the fact that no one from the management even cared to respond to the review even after so many days, shows how much they care.

Stayed 2 nights. My room reeked of smoke even though it is a non-smoking hotel. I contacted the front desk the next day. When I came back to the room the second night, the smell was even worse. When attempting to call the front desk, I discovered my phone did not function. The rooms themselves don't look bad. Wifi signal is good but not consistent. Continental breakfast consists of a platter of bagels and some oatmeal packets. I will not be staying here again.

The rooms nice for the price. Beds were good. but the hall smelled of weed the whole time We stayed. And in the morning you can hear every door slam shut. And that says alot because I'm 100% dead in one ear and have a 23 percent hearing loss in the other and I don't sleep with my cochlear on. The staff was nice. We didn't try the breakfast. Over all it was worth the money all the other hotels in the area were booked

Rooms were very clean and comfortable. The main lobby and elsewhere did need updating but rooms were great. The elevator is non funation ing which makes climbing to second floor difficult when staying with people with disabilities. Breakfast was ok with waffles cereal bagels and juice. Only problem was the stink bug I had to share the shower with.

The Forestre Banquet Attached to this hotel is a hidden Gem. This Brand New Hall (2012) was awesome. My sisters best friend had her reception here. The Food was Fantastic. The hall was beautiful. The Staff was great. It was such a treat. I had never even heard of this place before and was a little skeptical. I couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised. If you are looking for a hall in the Troy area, or Rochester Hills area, I wouldn't think twice. This is probably the Banquet Center you should have your reception at.
