Great park! thou really busy at time and limited parking lot. The playground is enclosed, which feels safer for the kids. There is an amazing tree playground. Another favorite in the kids area is the Splash River. I love the lake and the small bridges. There are amazing hacking parths for walking and biking. And there is a natural beautiful river with a kayak launch. Dogs friendly thou leash mandatory. It is a tru gem and that's the reason it is always busy, everybody loves this place.

Great family park. Pros: Many playscapes Closed fence play area Water feature Lots of shaded seating for parents Multiple trash locations Multiple drinking and water filling stations Cons: Bathrooms don't have sinks only hand sanitizer Lots of dogs most people have on a leash, but it's a playground children shouldn't have to navigate pets to play. Other than that it's a great place to spend the day

Took my two nephews here. It is a park that has a playground with innovative play toys. It was very busy. It didn't take long to have their turn on any of the playscapes they wanted to play with. There is a walking area towards the back of this area that has a boardwalk. It's like it's built on a wetland so there are lots of flowers and plants growing alongside very picturesque to walk through very serene. There was a food truck selling snacks off the side of the playground area so if you needed a drink or a snack you can go get one. I believe it's probably there for just the summer. It was extremely busy. There was a parking lot right next to it but it was full. You have to park across the road that does have a crosswalk with lights for you to go across. It is dog friendly. But I didn't see any sign right next to the playground if you could have a dog in there or not but I didn't see any in there

Very nice city park with walking trails in the forest, some ponds with a small waterfall and an amazing play area for the kids. The city decorated it for the holidays with fancy lights... great spot for an evening walk during the holidays!

This park should bring any and everyone peace! I love it here. I Can't wait until they launch kayaking! I've been patiently waiting for two years! One of my favorite places to escape reality.

This park is awesome, because it has a lot of stuff for the kids to play on and explore. It also has a nice trail that you can either walk, jog, ride a bike. Nonetheless, it has a nice view of the water.

Very nice play area! They have turf/rubber on the ground which is nice. No woodchips! They are currently working on phase 2, which i believe has additional play structures. There is a nice walking path and plenty of tables with a gazebo. There are also numerous benches throughout the play area. Excited to see this place when it's complete.

Lovely playground with slides, fake turf for cardboard sliding, swings and it even has a little sandpit. Not much shade and due to the surface the sun makes it very hot there. No refreshments on the site so make sure to being your own. There are ToiToi portable toilets but not adjusted for kids so bring a kids seat if necessary. There is a covered area with benches for eating, and a few picnic tables with sunshades outside. A nearby pond makes it a lovely day out.

Had an awesome experience at Innovation Hills. On the last day of our road trip (before heading back to Texas) we stopped here to let the kids run off some energy, and I’m glad we did. Even though the park isn’t quite as expansive as I had imagined, there was more than enough to keep them busy for two hours, and even then we had to peel them away. There are several small water features they enjoyed, so anticipate either getting a little wet or avoiding those parts. It was busy, but the kids were all surprisingly respectful to one another and kind/patient with the littles.

This is a nicely engineered park with a good mix of modern playgrounds to bang out those gross motor skills in kiddos but also some nice quieter walking paths in the rear. There is even a canoe / kayak launch on the Clinton River. The playground area can get pretty frenetic and crowded and parking can be a challenge. Nice to see that they have added some overflow parking south of Hamlin.

There is so much here! More than just a great playground. The nature trails are among the best in the area. Nice for a nature hike in a busy suburban area, you can almost almost get away from 100% of the traffic noise. That's a hard thing to come by these days in this area! What they could improve upon: Add some more benches. It's nice to just sit and watch your kids play, but I was only able to locate one small picnic table by the little stream area, and it was usually claimed. You can always pop a squat on the lawn, but that is difficult if you are wearing a dress after church :-) The parking. The parking is limited considering the popularity of the park. Get there early or make your peace with the fact that you will have to park on the south side of Hamlin and walk. Basically, being proactive with your planning is the way to go. Kids love to take off their shoes and play in the little stream area of the playground. They work together to adjust the water flow and clean the water. It's so much fun! This park you can truly spend the entire day at, So bring a picnic lunch :-).

This place is GREAT! literally has something for everyone. Could've had a little more for the handicapped area, like maybe 2 swings. But other than that it's overall a wonderful and beautiful park & trails!!!

Super family friendly place to go. I absolutely love it!! There is a huge play ground for kids and a nice walk/bike path for families. Bathrooms are clean and the park workers are VERY good about keeping the place clean and safe. This is also a good place for families to have their parties/ get togethers, you just need to make a reservation I believe. I don't anyone would regret visiting. ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

We've been here four times in the last ten days and the kids love it so much that they've made plans with their friends to meet up at this place every weekend during the summer break from school. The place is great to keep kids active and busy inspite of pending expansion of the play area. Well designed and beautiful. The only issue that people have is the parking. Finding parking during peak hours is a hassle. You'll have to drive across the road for extra parking space!

I would have taken 1/2 star away for no restrooms (only porta potties)/running water or bottle water refill station. We LOVE this park! All 3 of my girls (10, 4 and 2) can play here all day. There are climbing features (the biggest tree house I've EVER seen), spinning features, plenty of swings, and music features (I wished my kids would spend more time with these!), and even a turf hill with cardboard to slide down. The hit, by far, though, is the water feature! There is a pump at one end and a "river" snaking through concrete that has dams and a bridge over it (see pics to really understand). It is very refreshing on a hot day. I love that there are strategically placed picnic tables with an umbrella for shade 🥳🥳🥳 we will be spending many hours here this summer! BONUS: there is a part 2 being constructed to almost double the current size!

We rly liked this playground it has lots of things to do for the kids. Its a beautiful place and there’s also a nice trail around the little lake. There’s a parking lot there, but i dont think its big enough for the amount of people tho. The good: My kid loved it very much, its very innovative and modern, definitely different than any other playground. Many picnic tables around the area. The bad: There’s mobile bathrooms, the worst ive ever seen. We had to drive to Mc Donalds to go to a decent one cause those ones were horrible!!!

This park is awesome. The playground is fenced in and has stuff for all ages from just walking through 12 years old. Swings, jungle gyms, climbing ropes, slides, musical instruments, and even a water river. Each area is clearly marked with suggested ages. The playground is huge and didn't seem busy even with a full parking lot. Will certainly go back to check out the nature trails.

By far the best park in Rochester Hills! So many great things to do for children, families, or even solo walkers/runners. The park itself is well maintained, very beautiful, and includes something for everyone.

Wow. Seriously nice park. Pond. Boardwalk. Playground. Dog friendly. Picnic area. Bridge. Little art. Bike friendly. Free!! They have a small play area for adults too which includes and adult Jenga game and cornhole. A kayak launch. Great place to jog too. Definitely worth looking into if you happen to be close by. The only negative, no water for the kids to get wet. They do have a little water stream. That's so weird. No splash pad. Sorry. Frankenmuth has a free water splash pad, but that's 1 hr away. Glad I live nearby! As a local guide, I really recommend this park. It gets pretty crowded with kids on weekends, but there is extra parking across the street. Highly recommended

Such a cool place for all ages. Took our little ones there and we had a ton of fun. Big expansion is going on on the outside and the kids love watching the big trucks work. Can not wait to see the new project. Floors around all playgrounds have rubberized floors. Definitely coming back. Good job guys!

Awesome playground with a super fun tall tree as it's centerpiece. Plenty of room to spread out, great boardwalk. Parking could be dicey on popular days (might not be a problem once the newness wears off) , but there's a lot across the street with more parking. Restrooms are separated from the playground a little bit which seems like a planning oversight.

Excellent park for kids of many ages. There is a slide which is fun for kids to go down w cardboard etc. and plenty of swings and climbing. Bring sandals or swim pants so the children can play w the water and open/close the dam! There is a pond on the north side and hiking path as well. New addition coming in future to south east portion.
