Came here on 11-14-2020. The park was empty and it was beautiful. Well kept grounds. Gorgeous lake and scenery. No facilities open this time of year. In season they offer snack concession stand, locker rentals, bathrooms. There is a large play area for kids. Full sandy beach. Looks like lots of fun for all. Update 10-5-2022... Absolutely beautiful as ever. If you need a break from your routine, check out this park. Very quiet, serene and nature is full glory now.

The first thing I noticed when I arrived, is how clean is this beach.. the water is so clear that allows you to see the little fishes swimming on the shore. ๐ŸŸ (check the photos to see the fishies ๐ŸŸ) ๐Ÿค—Having a lifeguard around makes you feel so safe and stress free about your little ones. There is a very nice playground ๐Ÿ› . Decent bathrooms, outdoor shower and feet spray. Great place for hiking, biking and fishing. Plus, the nature there is just breathtaking ๐Ÿ˜Œโ™ฅ๏ธ

We love this park so much, we bought an annual pass this weekend. There are 2 swimming areas. The left only goes to a depth of 3 feet. The right has 2 sections: front is 4 feet, back is up to 16 feet. It is perfect for my 2, 4, and 10 year old girls. Note: no life vests or floating allowed- but since the shallow end is only 3 feet, it doesn't cramp our style. There are restrooms and showers, along with an outdoor shower and foot sprayer. There is also a park right behind the lake (only downside is dealing with a swim diaper when they want to hop back and forth- not much longer for me though ๐Ÿฅณ). They also have a volleyball net, picnic tables, grills, and a boat house where you can rent kayaks and paddle boats. It is never too crowded, and if you go in the morning mid week, chances are it'll feel like your own personal beach!

Small but beautiful park with lake and beach. Walking / biking trail surrounding the lake is a good facility. The view of water with trees is spectacular during fall season.

I really enjoyed this park. It is small, however I cannot say anything about the trails. I came here to fish with friends and one uses a motorised chair to navigate and we thought this would be a nice park. It has an an accessible fishing dock and as far as we could tell it was the only "dock" for fishing in the area. There are plenty of banks though. The dock had plenty of seating near and on it. It also had recesses for our friend to cast while seated. The canopy and the surface area near the benches made in comfortable and convenient for all. I will be back in the future.

DO NOT GO HERE!! Donโ€™t be deceived by all the positive ratings. We had to wait for 1 hour in the scorching sun to get into the pool (yeah its not a beach!) coz they let only 100 people inside and the water was only upto 4 ft. The swimming pool at my apartment is much better than this so called beach/lake. Worst experience!!

The beach is amazing, super clean and well maintained. There aren't too many people so there's plenty of sand to find a spot. There's a play ground, volleyball ball court, mile long radius to walk, paddle boats, row boats, and so much more. I also feel very safe with the sectioned off swimming parts and the at least 4 to 6 life guards on duty!!!! Ii love this beach!!!!

Made more for kids than adults. They have 2 sets of lifeguards which is cool and a spot for babies and older kids. It was $10 to park and very crowded.

Limiting how many people can go on the beach. Paddles on the boat broke off. No floaties allowed in the water. Cash only at the entrance. Water use only when you make it into the beach area after waiting in line so no sunbathing. I recommend stoney Creek

โš ๏ธโš ๏ธThe park itself is nice small mostly families. But they don't tell you when you pay to get in that they let over 100 people in while having 100 person capacity allowed in the beach at a time, which is fine with the life we have to live these days but they should take a head count as you enter the park rather then at head count at the beach and tell you, you can't swim because they reached their capacity when you are standing there with a 3 year old and 3 other children then say they can only let 2 of us in to swim. A 3 year old doesn't understand social distancing and we have to wait in a line on 90 degree day and watch everybody else swim as we stand in the sun watching. So we gathered up our belongings and left and they did refund us our money but still just a hassle that could've been taken care of in the beginning (HEAD COUNT) Just take warning

This is our go to beach with our kids (ages 9y and 7y). They always keep the swimming area and beach nice and clean, plus they have multiple areas and depths marked off for swimmers of all ages to enjoy. They have lifeguards on duty, but you are not allowed to bring any flotation devices. There is a play area and park near the beach, changing areas, bathrooms, rinse off showers, walking path and trails, as well as a place to buy food/ice cream. If you are not a member or resident of the area, there is a cost to enter the park. They also only allow dogs into the park on their off season.

This is a great beach and I love coming here. It's a little different during Covid. They only allow 100 swimmers at a time and you have to wait in line to get in the water which is understandable. Even so, the lines went fast.

Great little park. Nicely shaded picnic area with tables and grills. There is a swimming area roped off with different sections for wading, shallow, and deep water as well as a nice little playground and a concession stand. Great place to take younger children.

Spencer park is much better kept than it used to be. The mile long path around the lake is great for getting in a run or a walk with the dog. They have kid friendly swimming areas and clean restrooms. The park is great for a close day at the beach.
