My
friends
and
I
visited
here
for
brunch
today,
and
it
was
packed
already,
indicating
that
they
contained
good
quality
food.
I
browsed
their
menu
and
was
grateful
for
the
fact
that
they
had
several
items
on
the
menu
that
they
listed
out
as
customer
favorite
and
staff
favorite,
which
made
it
a
very
easy
choice
for
me,
so
I
went
with
the
Rotterdam.
It
was
a
very
savory
pannekette
with
smoked
gouda
cheese,
green
peppers,
onion,
mushrooms,
and
Mettwurst.
Tomatoes
and
hollandaise
sauce
have
simply
elevated
the
flavor
and
made
it
an
all-around
delicious
meal,
and
I
trulu
believe
going
with
Mettwurst
was
the
right
choice.
The
Dutch
skillet,
which
my
friend
had,
was
very
savory
as
well,
but
contained
relatively
the
same
main
ingredients
as
the
Rotterdam
while
the
eggs
made
the
main
difference,
so
the
two
meals
shared
a
very
similar
flavor
profile.
My
other
friend
had
the
gyro
omelette,
which
I
also
had,
and
it
was
a
classic
combination
of
spinach
and
feta
along
with
gyro
meat.
We
shared
a
seasonal
pannekoeken,
which
was
the
fresh
strawberry
one,
and
I
have
to
say
that
I
still
need
to
understand
what
makes
a
pannenkoek
dinstinctly
different
from
an
American
pancake,
other
than
a
different
shape
and
different
thickness.
Along
the
syrup,
it
feels
like
a
regular
pancake.
My
Rotterdam
came
with
a
tomato
basil
soup
as
well,
which
was
not
quite
special
as
it
tasted
like
the
same
soup
from
other
brunch
spots.
One
highlight
I
need
to
mention
is
that
many
servers
were
delivering
the
dishes
running
and
saying
something,
which
might
be
a
tradition
of
some
sort,
and
I
was
amused
by
it.
Overall
this
is
a
good,
modest
spot
that
I
believe
local
folks
from
Rochester
enjoy
a
lot!
