No good advertising opening hours but being closed. We went for fish and chips at 5.30 as opening hours showed 8pm closing. Several other customers arrived and left while we were there. At least a note of explanation on the window isn’t too much to expect. Next time I am here I wouldn’t waste my time and money at Rochester Fish.

I order the hamburger with the lot & chips. Best $12 I've sent on a feed in a long time! Beautiful hamburger cooked fast and tasted sensational. It's off the main road through town but we'll worth finding! I'll be back,next trip through town.

The new chips are the best I have had in a long time from a fish and chip shop. Fresh is better. Hope they stay. Everything tastes great and is a credit to the owners for getting back up and opening after the floods. Well done, guys. Customer service is fantastic.

The team at the Rochy Fish Shop are doing a fantastic job. It is great to see them back up and running post the terrible floods. Without doubt this is one of the best regional fish and chip shop that I have been to and is our go-to place for lunchtime when visiting the old man over that way. Our favourite is the seafood/fisherman basket for 2 which should be called 2-3 as there is plenty to eat. They do a rippa steak sandwich and are happy to join in the debate of beetroot or no beetroot. Can't wait to get across again.

A family favourite on Friday's for us. I love my grilled fish, which is very tasty, and nice chips.

$12 burger and chips ordered Chips golden, crunchy and the right amount of salt Burger delicious. Next time I'm coming through town I'll be back!

To be fair we only have tried the souvlaki. Just passing through town. Entering the shop felt like walking into a small town pub, everyone stared. I'm guessing the female was an owner, she didn't tie her hair up (seriously that's disgusting in a food prep area. It's not a fashion show) The meat in the souva was horribly chewy. The salad was sliced so thin that it went to instant mush. Just disappointed, that's all. For a Greek heritage family business I was hoping for a small town winner. Nicely decorated clean shop

Been going here since I was young. I'm now 53 still love their service and food.
