This place is beautiful! I loved the beautiful flowers and especially loved seeing all the turtles just walking around. So peaceful

Visiting for the Lilac Festival in May was one of the highlights of 2022 for me. It is a beautiful park and the festival was so much fun. There were a lot of things to do but the flowers were the best part. I would recommend bringing lots of water if its a hot day since it can be humid. I was honestly overwhelmed with the number of beautiful lilac bushes so it made leaving the park hard. We did a walking path that allowed us to see the flowers and the festival had signs saying where to go and where to park. The park is beautiful too. There are lots of large trees, several types of tree species, different flowering plants, and walking paths. The walking paths had benches so you can sit and enjoy the park. I would recommend coming to this park to anyone and wish we lived closer so I could come to this park more often!

Mochii and I take our walks here everyday. She loves sniffing all the flowers. There's a lot of different paths to take, a huge wooden playground for kids, and bathrooms available. This is where the annual Lilac Festival takes place. We love our scenic walks! It's very peaceful and always clean. You can also check out the Lamberton Conservatory and the Arches Pavilion.

What an awesome park! We visited for the first time for the Lilac Festival, and it was great. It did rain on us a bit, but we still had a blast! I can't wait to return for a nice picnic or something.

One of the best parks in New York State. You can find great events here throughout the year. I’m the spring and summer there are so many beautiful gardens! The lilacs in May are absolutely stunning. The county does a fantastic job maintaining this public space and seems to continually make improvements to the park. Overall a remarkable out door space for all to enjoy.

Because y the lilacs were so fragrant this year , the park was in exceptional shape and very clean. Security guards were polite to every that entered the grounds. I just wish the venders were closer as us “mature” folks have a little more trouble getting there… (not me but my wife)….

Lush, quiet, and delightful, at least in summer. :) Fascinating just how criminal it is to tamper with a reservoir, so noted that as well in the photos. Kind of a neat hilly vibe overall. Benches throughout for your sitting pleasure. My photos take you on a little walking tour (in order) of the loop around the reservoir.

Nice spot. Tried to go here during the lilac festival last visit, but no go. I'm sure it's gorgeous in the spring when more is in bloom, but the crocuses were pretty!

Highland Park is a lovely outdoor space in the Rochester area. We enjoyed walking around the park and seeing the variety of trees that were labeled. We would like to return some day to see the lilacs and other flowering bushes.

We went for the Lilac Festival and had a great time! The flowers were beautiful! And lots of vendors selling food and products! We came to see Mikaela Davis play the electric harp! She was awesome! Had a wonderful time!

My favorite park in Rochester! If you park at the Conservatory and go around the main path, it’s about a 1 mile loop. I would highly recommend it during any season. The park is expertly landscaped to have something in bloom all spring and summer.

Highland Park is a gem in Rochester. Mostly known for the Lilac festival, the park is gorgeous then and every other day. Plenty of places to walk and explore. Poet's garden is a favorite during summer for its shade and floral variety. Love visiting here to see what's blooming. Occasionally, there is a yoga class up at the reservoir, and there's almost always a wedding being hosted somewhere in the park. Great place to have a picnic. Lamberton Conservatory is a must-see here, too! Don't forget to check out the tulip field in early May before the lilac festival.

A wonderful place to be. Footpaths weave through the slopes between the paved trails among a beautiful assortment of plants. Big trees that have been around for decades. A mass of lilacs and other flowering trees and bushes. Many of them are labeled with a metal tag. Groundhogs roam around, so be careful to not land in one of their holes if you are off the paved trails. Good place for a picnic, to read a book, or just relax and listen to the birds. There are a couple different public restrooms located around as well.

In the midst of the busy city of Rochester is a beautiful, serene park. Plenty of trails. The scent of lilacs in early May is intoxicating. Absolutely worth a drive to get there.

Beautiful park full of scenic paths and plants. Lots of plants are labeled, and are fun to identify. The landscaping is natural feeling, and incredibly well maintained. Plus there's a relatively new huge log playground! Add to that a conservatory, a veterans memorial, and lots of areas to explore. Great for a picnic, family outing, date, or just a visit. I've been to this park many times throughout my life and I've never tired of it.
