I just finished my meal here. I was really disappointed by the experience. we came on a Saturday, so it was understandably busy, after waiting for over ah hour for a table, it took another hour for us to get our food. My club sandwich was supposed to have no onion or tomato and was toasted. it showed up with both veggies on it and the bread had gone stale from being toasted very clearly a while before I got it. My friend's plain Mac and cheese was cold, she sent it back and they nuked it, it wasn't even hot. She said the noodles were mushy and tasted off. My other friend ordered fish tacos and they were bone dry. The waitress was very nice but the whole experience was frustrating and not worth the cost. To be fair their beer selection i was told was really good. But I would recommend finding another spot to eat.

I wish I would have read the recent reviews before coming back here. We waited forever for a waiter to come to the table on an empty Tuesday evening. Since it was taking forever we ordered drinks, apps and dinner all at once. Nothing came out for a long time. The drinks came first (20 minutes later) The fish tacos were spoiled. They came out like chopped fish hash with the tortillas on the side. Couldn't identify the type of fish but it was stinky. Tasted rotten. My son's simple plain burger with nothing on it was made incorrectly. They said the kitchen was empty, so they could remake it fast... Took like 20 minutes. The fish sat on the table stinking bc the waiter never came back. Sent the fish tacos back at the end and didn't eat but one bite. The pretzels were ok, however the cheese was cold and inedible. I would have noticed that as a waiter and wondered why my customer didn't eat the food. 1/5 food The cider mimosa was good. I'm guessing they just have no staff or something which if that's the case they should just close the kitchen. I feel like the waiter was embarrassed by the management and kitchen bc he was nice but probably the only one working (I'm guessing) 2/5 service only bc the waiter seemed like he was embarrassed We were sat by a table with 6 kids running around. I'm not mad at the kids but the host made a weird decision sitting us there in a huge place. 1/5 atmosphere I dislike writing bad reviews, and never send food back but I really feel like this was an egregious waste of my family's time and money and personally would have wanted to be warned . We love Rochester and support all local businesses so I hope this place turns it around.

The atmosphere is always great, but.. My sister and I weren't allowed to sit outside due to the air quality. The food will not disappoint. Service sometimes can have you looking for your waitstaff, although my server was extremely helpful when I was not happy about my order and quickly rectified the issue. I've been frequenting Rochester Mills for years and it has not disappointed me yet!

We came for a breakfast brunch but it seemed too much for them to handle. Food was missing and cold and the morning beer was warm. We had a good waitress but she unfortunately was not enough to make up for the lacking of everything else.

Excellent food and drinks! They were pretty busy but our waitress was very attentive and nice. Great first impression. Decor and vibe was spot on with what you'd expect from a brewery of this size. We will definitely be going back. We started with nachos which were fantastic and I had the Shepherd's Pie and she had Hungarian goulash. Both were delicious but just too much so we took boxes. Highly recommend!

Absolutely fantastic. Came here after having a walk through downtown Rochester. The path leading up to the brewery and surrounding it is amazing. Very scenic, well taken care of. The pub itself is nice, you walk into an open spacious area with seating far enough apart to hear your own table. The service is quick, staff is friendly, and it's a comfortable atmosphere. Very nice location, good food, and definitely checks all the boxes of a great place to stop by.

Food is usually on point, nice atmosphere and great brews! Happy hour specials are great! I usually go during off peak times so it is more low key. Outdoor patio seating is amazing! Usually live entertainment during weekends. They can also accommodate large groups no problem. The prices are a bit higher than normal but being in Rochester, it comes with the territory.

The beer was pretty fine. The self-satisfied, smug band with poor audio setup reminded me of my differences in opinion at 10:58pm on Saturday night when they laughed about how they were going to play the pandemic theme song and then played โ€œStaying Alive.โ€ Only 1.1 million deaths; so funny. At least they are enjoying themselves. Iโ€™ll be back.

The nachos and rib are great. The fish and chips are normal not recommended. The Buffalo wings are HOT!, be careful. Several choices of beer, recommend take the 4 types and take the big one after.

Back again, this time had to get something different. The Korean wrap, lettuce wrap, poutine fries and pumpkin cheese cake. Yum to all. Great place and food. I got the Jambalaya and it is amazing.

Went here on fathers day when they opened. First time here since I was in college 15 years ago. Beer was good. Service was fantastic. Our meals were fantastic except the spin dip was just average and the shepherds pie was a bit salty but still good. I also highly recommend the bang bang shrimp But the cajun burnt end pasta was outstanding!! They need to keep that on the regular menu!

Food is what you expect from a pub not exceptional. Prices are decent for a downtown Rochester restaurant. Atmosphere is nice but separated from the downtown vibe. Waitstaff was attentive but brought me a different burger than what I had ordered. All in all, I would return.

Rochester Mills is a great place to relax, enjoy a beer, eat some good food, take in some music, and play billiards. I highly recommend the lobster Mac and cheese to eat. My only complaint is they raised the price from $17.99 to $24.99 and there doesnโ€™t seem to be as much lobster in it. Order the Cornerstone IPA, Rochester Red, or Milkshake Stout to wash it down. Cheers!

The food is really good, but the actual beer is pretty mediocre for being a brewery. Beer is often served at different temperatures, with it coming warm a few times while I visited. I'm sure it's something they could fix, but they should've told their consumers prior to ordering.

If you miss frozen dining hall food, want to try blindly ordering beers based on nondescript names, prefer your tacos deconstructed, enjoy your whitefish spread with more eggs than crackers, or are looking for loud, unintelligible live music to prevent any conversation, this is the perfect spot for you! Our servers were kind and helpful despite it seeming like they may have had to manage too many tables. I really appreciated them offering tastes of a few โ€œsourโ€ beers prior to ordering drinks so I wouldnโ€™t end up wasting an entire pint. This place has great potential, but unfortunately there are still so many areas in need of improvement that it just feels like a tourist trap.

Had the jambalaya which was excellent. Great balance of the fish and meat with the peppers and onions. Spicing was just right. Good balance of heat and saltiness with a nice rich roux. Didnโ€™t even need any Tabasco. Also enjoyed the garlic bread. My wife had the Cajun salmon sandwich which we both thought was also excellent. They had just tapped a barley wine which was very tasty and we enjoyed tastes of the IPA and milkshake stout. This place has wonderful atmosphere and is a real gem. Such a great treat to find this in Rochester Hills. After you eat here you can take a nice walk along the nearby creek to the municipal park.

Nice place to eat and have a few beers. Waiter forgot to bring our water and the live music stopped because of rain. Solid 4.

Good menu. Not too long, with a good selection. (Places with multi page menus make me nuts.) Food was yummy, well prepared and presented. The sweet potato fries were delicious. Service was polite, but very SLOW for lunch time. Food took longer than it should have, maybe she forgot to turn in our ticket?? How long does it take to cook a burger?!! It was not busy, not at all! At lunch time, I am on a schedule!! I had to get up and find the waitress to request our check. I don't want fast food, but this was just not prompt service. My first visit here, pretty nice place. I assume this was an anomaly. My first visit, I'll try them out again, in the future.

The craft beer is great, the food, just average. A very busy place, so reservations are recommended. We sampled various brews and most tasted great. We went with friends and shared the spinach artichoke dip appetizer, OK, have had better. Best bet is the burgers, everything else, meh. Service is hit and miss. Again, ours was just average. Thus the 3 star rating.

Its undeniable this place some amazing beers. They're consistent and high quality. My favorite is always the Rochester Red straight from the tap. The food has always been really good, too. You can't really go wrong. My only suggestion is to proceed with caution when ordering cocktails on their drinks list. They're very pricey for what they are. The Blue Margarita is definitely green, and honestly as petty as that sounds it left a lot to be desired anyway. The summer sangria was much better, but neither drinks were worth the $15 price tag. So just proceed with caution and ask for pricing before ordering.
