My daughter and I dined here while we were in town for Mayo appointments. Every single thing about this place was AMAZING! The blackberry margaritas were to die for and the food was perfect and tasty! I wish I could remember our servers name, but she was SO good with all the kiddos that were there for Mayo visits, knowing how scary it can be for them. She helped ease their anxiety by making it a fun experience. She even took her shoes and socks off to splash and dance around in the water feature on the patio, with a little girl that was there. :) I just made a reservation to come back in a couple weeks! Can’t wait!

Excellent! Well worth it! Even the bathrooms were clean and accommodating. Changing table in one of the stalls. Large enough for wheelchairs. The food was superb. Staff were polite, witty and classy! My husband got the prime rib french dip sandwich with fries. His fries were cooked to perfection. Just the right amount of crispness. His sandwich had outstanding flavor! I had the Healthy Shrimp bowl. Definitely had some kick with the right amount of flavor. Well worth it!!

Absolutely phenomenal food! The jalapeno berry jam burger was absolutely delicious! As is their rotisserie chicken. We opted for banana cream pie for dessert, I expected a slice, as you can see from the picture, you get an entire bowl full! My wife, 2 young ones and myself all shared it and we still couldn't finish it! Shout out to our waiter Dalton too, he was superb!

We went to Newt's right before coming here. The bad service at Newt's left such a horrible taste in my mouth, I was angry. That anger quickly vanished when we were seated right away at Chester's. Our waiter, Derrick was awesome! Great personality, fast service and he kept the drinks coming for my husband and daughter. The fries were hot and crunchy. We asked for another side of fries becausr my daughter and I wanted some. He said he'll have the chefs cooked it ASAP and indeed it was so! My daughter and I had the Minute chicken with angel hair, mushrooms and capers..YUMMMMY! My husband got the Cowboy Burger and fries and he really liked it. We ordered the chocolate cake with ice cream to go and that piece of cake was huge! The diversity of the wait staff and their great service attitude was so refreshing! My husband always tip well when his drink is always filled so he was happy to do so for Derrick. We will be back!

Here come my ABCs: Atmosphere: casual enough for your church jeans but formal enough for prom. Bites: my oh my! Fresh squeezed lemonade? Oh yes! Bread to follow with with maple butter tasted like pancakes for dinner. A nice glass of wine...or 2. Ribeye steak cooked to a perfect medium. Garlic butter glaze? Like something of my dreams but in reality. Smoked gouda hash browns were probably my least favorite part of the plate. It lacked texture. It had great flavor but lacked texture. The au jus was perfect! I was going to order the minute chicken BUT I changed my mind last minute because my server, Gail, suggested the rotisserie chicken. I'm glad she did!! It had a great flavor of smoke and rotisserie flavor. Nice and tender and juicy. So delicious! The mashed potatoes had great texture. Still had lumps. That tells me they were mashed by hand and not instant or out of a bag. Charred asparagus was really nice. Crispy and not over cooked. We could only eat half of our meals. Cleanliness: Everything was clean and in service. Kitchen appeared to be clean also. Service: Wow! Best service I've had in a long time. Our excellent server boxed up our meals for us. The sign of a great restaurant. We really appreciate her. Super knowledgeable. Very attentive. Overall: I rarely give 5 🌟. This one deserves it. Keep up the good work. Thanks for making our trip to Mayo/my birthday/our Valentines Day meals special.

One of the Mayo nurses recommended Chester's after breaking my 42 hour fast and procedure. Food was delightful and tasty. Easy atmosphere to dine alone. And yes, I did pair the beet salad with their mac and cheese.

Gluten Free/Mayo Patient Review: We are in town for the week for Mayo Clinic appointments. Today was a disappointing day and we decided to take a break and go to Chesters. The staff was very nice, it was walking distance from Mayo Clinic, they had a great menu and lots of gluten free options (all labeled on the menu). My husband got the Cowboy burger and fries and I got the Gluten Free Big Mac with a Cesar salad. The prices are a bit on the high side for a quick lunch but being able to get away from Mayo, have a nice meal and relax was worth it. Would definitely go again.

I visited the wonderful establishment while at a conference at the Mayo Clinic. It was recommended by a few people. Oh man! They were absolutely correct about the food and drinks here. I ordered the Lobster Mac and cheese. Amazing! The service was great! I was very content. My only complaint is this restaurant is NOT located in Florida. Just means I have to make another trip to Minnesota in the future. Will definitely visit again.

I am here right now actually. This is my first time visiting Chester's. I am extremely impressed! The atmosphere is welcoming. The environment and ambience is very nice, but not so nice that you can't come in with a pair of jeans and a t-shirt. The food is incredible. I ordered the turkey avocado sandwich. Sandwiches are typically easy to make, or so people think. We've all had the sandwich with the overcooked bread that cuts your gums, with mayonnaise spilling out the sides, and meat so thick that you can't bite into it. It was perfect. Same thing with the fries. Not overcooked. Just perfect. Fawn and Sarah are at the bar. They are both very conversational, and willing to answer any questions that you have. They are very attentive to the customer's needs. I ordered the old fashioned, and it was amazing! Great flavor, and great amount of drink for the price. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Best meal I’ve eaten in a long, long time. We absolutely loved it. Highly recommend! Our waiter Shawn was wonderful as well.

Stopped in for a quick bite to eat at lunch time. This place was packed. Reservations are recommended even for lunch during the week. I was able to find a spot at the bar easily enough though. The prime rib sandwich was spot on and those tater tots were out of this world. Staff was friendly and the food came out quick. I would recommended this spot to anyone in the area.

Nice place. Good food, good service. Had the walleye tacos and the vegetable chili - would recommend both. Went there for lunch on a Saturday and it wasn't too busy. Ate at the bar but they had an outdoor seating area that looked nice too.

Cozy and elevated, Chester’s is a great location for a nice date night dinner, family celebration or delicious brunch with the gals. Service seemed to be spotty, and it took quite sometime for someone to acknowledge me throughout my entire meal. Highly suggest the BlackBerry Jalapeño Burger, the brie cheese curds were strange on top of the burger (maybe crumbled goat cheese instead? Or melted Brie on top instead?) but it was delicious overall.

Love this spot. Great service, great food. Not a big fan of the brie cheese curds just because I don’t like that kind of cheese (photo attached.) The minute chicken and beef stroganoff were great. $20-$30 a plate.

We are very impressed with this place. We went at an odd time, (right in between lunch and dinner) and from beginning to end, it was a 5 star experience. To begin with they allowed us to choose from lunch or dinner menus which was nice. Our waiter Phillip was attentive, helpful and funny. His recommendations were spot on and he didn’t pressure or try to upsell us. We ordered a half chicken entree with mash potatoes and gravy, a turkey avocado sandwich with fries and cole slaw, a wedge salad with ranch and vinaigrette dressings, on the side, a pan of cornbread with whipped maple butter and a couple lemonades. My wife and I split and sampled everything. The rotisserie chicken was fall off the bone delicious, well seasoned but not over sapid. The roast turkey and avocado sandwich and the wedge salad were both extremely fresh and the dressings for both were delicious as well. The fries were a whole plate, not seasoned and not greasy. The cornbread was a whole pan that was closer to cake and icing than bread and butter. Even the Lemonade and strawberry lemonades were delicious. As a matter of fact, the water was really good water too. The prices were reasonable for the quality of food and service we received. If you’re ever in Rochester MN, give them a try.

So glad I found this place for brunch. It was so good. I would definitely want to host a group here again sometime. Monkey bread was amazing. They had vegan options.

Very good overall, the burger was amazing, ribs were dense but tastey. Drinks were good too. Would defintely return! Bonus tip: Get the tots they are delicious af. The bacon ketup is to die for!

Fun place to go during the Holidays! They go all out on xmas decorations. I really enjoyed my salmon bowl.

Amazing meals at this restaurant! We got the walleye tacos and the wild mushroom burger. The rotisserie chicken wings with chipotle ranch were outstanding! My favorite thing we ordered. My husband has celiac and was able to even able to eat the key lime pie (without the crust). They have a decent amount of gluten-free options. A little on the expensive side, but great quality of food. Overall, would recommend for a nicer date night or family night out.

Phenomenal food! The blackberry jalapeno burger was delectable, the ribs amazing, and the walleye cakes among the best I've had. We were a group and shared bites of each dish, so I was able to try a few items. The deserts were divine. We got the carrot cake, banana cream pie, and chocolate cake, and all were phenomenal. The carrot cake was amazing, and after drizzling some of the praline sauce on it the cake got even better. The banana cream pie was hands down the best I've ever had the good fortune of tasting. The chocolate cake was sinfully good. Rich, moist, light and fluffy, and made with dark chocolate for a taste that was exquisite. The chocolate sauce just made it even better. The ice cream served with the carrot cake and chocolate cake could be a desert in and of itself. That scoop of vanilla is definitely up there with some of the most delicious ice creams I've had.

In summary; very good food but also a little pricey. We ordered the fried calamari, a rack of ribs, a burger, and a bottle of rosé. In total it was about 100-130$ including tip. Its worth it, but definitely keep this in mind. Otherwise, it was nicely decorated and atmospheric, and they were staffed pretty well.

Great place. Sat at the bar, and the bartender served me some really good gin drinks. I told him to surprise me and he did. We had the bacon mac 'n cheese balls and they were tasty.

The chicken meatball was really flavorful and juicy, which was unexpected considering it was chicken. Their bread pudding was to die for. The Chester’s chicken chopped salad was ok, the greens did not feel fresh. The restaurant is ve tu pretty, great ambience and our waiter was very friendly and helpful.

I was just at Chester’s as we are here to see doctors at Mayo tomorrow. The food was amazing! But even more than that our server Ashley was fabulous! Not only attentive but when my first drink was not to my taste, to my surprise her manager went over and above and made it right. If you are here for any reason you have to go here. Not only was the food above par you will be treated like family. You will not regret it.

Amazing food. Everything was fresh and tasty. We had the avocado tacos, veggie chili, and amazing fresh peach crisp. Great vegan meal.

Heard a lot about this place so I tried tonight. Disappointed. The olive in the clay pot is really bitter. They threw a lemon wedge inside the soup and overcooked it so the soup is also bitter. The smell of the olive and wine in my soup is way overwhelming. The linguine is decent but salty. The only plus is really friendly staff and deserts.

Excellent we had two of their specialities rotisserie chicken and parmesean encrusted walleye. Excellent and I can see why I had at least 6 people tell me to eat there when they found out we were going to Mayo Clinic.

I love this place. Whenever I come to Rochester I never miss to dine here. Good environment. Excellent staff services. They really care their customers. Love their grilled Salmon. Best Chicken Rasbury Lemonade drink is perfect. Inside decorations are good enough. Friendly environment. Good place for family and friends. Good for kids. Kids menus available.
