We love living at The Exchange! The community is great and we always feel “at home.” The biggest difference I’ve noticed from living in other communities is how wonderful the staff is with their tenants. Rahmon, Shannon and Austin always make me feel welcome and love on my dog. Yes, they even love on your pets. They have been very intentional since day one. Also, I want to shout out George, because he truly takes care of everyone and always has a smile on his face!

Staying here for a while! I have lived in 4 apartment complexes over the past 7 years and this one is the best! Monthly Rent Rate is reasonable. Surrounding community is walkable and lively but not too much. Amenities are first class. Special events are every month. Staff is responsive and caring (Shannon, Rahmon, and Austin) Maintenance is so helpful and on top of all requests. Interior of apartments is modern and spacious. I love the layouts. Exterior is all ways kept clean. The only thing I wish we had was RECYCLING but I’m a granola type of girl. The trash service is top notch. Thank you Exchange for another great year. 2 years down and more to go especially with the housing interest rates why would we move!

I have lived here close to a year now and I must say the front office staff is amazing. But let me point out my cons: A resident is also the “pool monitor”…. during the summer he will literally be down your throat starting late afternoon like he owns the property. He even went as far as lying about being threatened by a guest on the property which never happened. He will stand at the hallway door & watch over whoever is at the pool, it’s weird. & don’t let me fail to mention he will do the same for the rooftop terrace, if you decide to live here you will get to know who he is quick. Parking is horrible!! If you are not here mid afternoon you will lucky if you find a spot for the night. If there is an event downtown… good luck even parking here at all. The residents that own personal & company vehicles park all their vehicles in the parking lot when I was told I could only have one car per driving resident or my “extra” car would get towed unless I parked it across the street in the Wells Fargo parking lot. Now, the water pressure…. I live on the 3rd floor & the water pressure is horrible at times. I’ve sent an email & brought it up when I was in the office & I was told that it was being looked into but never got an email back. Also, being on the 3rd floor I can say that I can hear the guy above me so much so, that I know his daily routine. I can hear when he goes to the bathroom, I can hear when he walks, I can hear when he works out, I know when he has a guest & exactly what they are doing… It doesn’t bother me to much but it does become a talking subject. I can also hear the lady’s kids below me crying as well as her doors being slammed but I’ve never complained because it’s an apartment, your bounded to hear your neighbors. She has complained about being able to hear us which they left a notice twice but we weren’t even loud. I could easily complain back but for what it’s an apartment you’re going to hear your neighbors. “Quite time” starts at 6 PM and I work beyond that time so when I do come home you will hear me & my one child walk. Speaking of noise, the train that runs is loud!!!! One will run sometimes at 3 AM & that horn will wake anyone up, the building will also shake slightly. The dog park is super tiny & reeks of dog pee, the summer time heat makes the smell 10 times worse. People do not pick up after their dogs who poop in the flower beds so if you happen to walk through one of the islands check your shoes. The smoke detectors are highly sensitive which is a good thing, I hear neighbors detectors all the time going off. I’ve never had anything smoke in my apartment but they have went off many times while cooking. If delivery drivers can’t get in the doors they will leave your packages outside the door and if they are able to access the door but not the package room they will leave it in the hallway by the package room. Other than these things it’s actually a decent property to live at. I like the friendliness of other residents & there are resident events hosted by the office. Maintenance is very quick to respond to work orders, they do an amazing job of keeping trash off the grounds. Housekeeping for the hallways doors and windows are amazing. I would say if you do a tour, be sure to ask a resident or two their pros and cons; ask the leasing agent what are some of the complaints they have gotten from residents. I asked when I took my tour & Rahmon was very honest & I appreciate honesty. You will love the front office staff, they are so helpful & always delightful.

If you are looking for your next place to live, check out The Exchange. Located in the heart of downtown Rock Hill, you have everything you need right outside your home. They have top of the line amenities and an awesome staff. This is also a very safe place! If you are interested, reach out and ask for Shannon, Rahmon, or Austin!

The Exchange at Rock Hill has been amazing. The leasing office management team and Rahmon and Dylan are amazing and very helpful, I needed to move in quickly and they made it happen within a few days, it’s been a amazing experience the maintenance team George and Brian are so helpful, both go above and beyond to make u happy and to make sure things are done right.I love my new home so far .

I was very exited to move here in October. The office staff is great (Rahmon and Shannon are super sweet and helpful!) and the apartment has a nice gym and other amenities, but I cannot recommend anyone move here, at least to the building facing Dave Lyle. I have been here for 2 months and the office and supposedly their corporate staff have been made aware of a severe water pressure issue. Verbatim from the maintenance man “since this building was 4 stories with a basement they didn’t think they needed a riser pump for the water”. All the other buildings are 5 stories and apparently have adequate water pressure. It is so bad at times you cannot even rinse your hair properly or wash dishes in the sink before loading into the dishwasher. I attempted to move to another building but would’ve had to go to another apartment that was not comparable to mine. They still have not given me any date as to when this water pressure issue will be resolved. On top of that, if there are any events going on in downtown Rock Hill, they will do nothing to enforce the resident only parking. I came in the night of the Christmas parade from being out of state with work all week, and couldn’t even unload my luggage where I live due to them letting everyone park here for the festivities. I guess if you’re going to live here, make sure that you can be in your apartment hours before any events going on in downtown. Ironically, I have multiple vehicles and leave them parked at a friends except for one I’m driving to work with for the week, but they’re so concerned about making sure the residents don’t have more than one car parked here, but let it be a free-for-all for everyone else. On the plus side, they do seem to keep the building and grounds very clean, and handle noise complaints effectively. But until the water pressure and parking issues are resolved, I cannot recommend this complex. I was going to hold off leaving a negative review in hopes the issue would be resolved, but it has not been. The parking situation this weekend was the cherry on top.

Where to I begin to say this is the best place to live. The amenities, community events each month, and the staff are 10/10 amazing. The apartments are modern and so spacious, and the community surrounding is perfect for young couples and young adults. You can walk to everything without the hustle and bustle.

Nothing but amazing words to say about our time at Exchange. We have been here for almost two years since they opened and it feel like home. The community reps, Shannon, Rahmon, and Austin in the leasing office go above and beyond expectations with requests and accommodations. Truly the best place to live in RH SC.
